Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y45/S1

Milo watched as Santiago landed another hit, trying to copy the older boy's form. He was shocked when it worked pretty well, his bat connecting cleanly though his swing faltered when he spotted Teddy catching the snitch again, shot going wide and swerving into @Genevieve Fuentes by mistake. "Whoops," he said, not sounding sorry at all. "Dude, how are you doing that," he asked Teddy, convinced the snitch must be rigged for practice now.

Joshua - 1
Teddy - 2
Santiago - 1
Genevieve - 1

Soren flew back around and made another goal.

Teddy flashed a smile at Milo. "Just my awesome skills," he replied. Seeking might not be everyone's cup of tea, but Teddy enjoyed the challenge.

Sen took the quaffle after Soren had scored.

Santiago tried to ignore Milo and focus on finding another bludger to hit.

Aurora missed the bludger she was going for.

Teddy kept searching for the snitch.

Senna circled back towards the hoops to take another shot, small grin appearing on her face when she somehow managed to get it past the keeper again.

Aurora didn't manage to hit anything, which was very frustrating.

Teddy thought he saw the snitch but it happened to be the reflection of another players watch. He kept searching.

Santiago swung and hit a bludger across the pitch but missed its target.

Basquiat took the quaffle after the chaser scored. Glad for her to have been successful but hoping for his own more.

Rāwhiti was pleased to see his teammates working together, though he kept his gaze focused on the sky as he looked for the snitch.

Aurora didn't manage to hit a bludger.

Teddy noticed Santiago's bludger fly inches past his head. He felt a wave of relief that it had been off target.

Basquiat had flown quickly towards the hoops at the other side of the pitch and aimed for the hoops and shot. Unfortunately he was unsuccessful. He swore under his breath, humiliated.

Rāwhiti spotted a glimmer of gold and shot towards it, but by the time he got close he had lost sight of it.

Milo scoffed at Teddy's response but he had to say he was already liking his roommate more after playing with him than he had after spending a year in class with him, whatever that said about him. Now he just needed to channel the same awesome skills and get in more some hits.

Santiago looked for another bludger to hit.

Milo tried to remember some of the better form he'd seen in the few pro matches he'd gone to as he swung his bat somewhat aimlessly. Until now all his quidditch theory had been more about strategy rather than the minute details of well. Swinging a bat.

Santiago saw another bludger and raced after it. He was hoping to hit Milo again but he missed again. Instead an unlucky chaser got in the way and took the hit instead. @Soren Gates

Rāwhiti flew on, hoping he'd spot the snitch again soon.

Santiago swung again but missed this time.

Basquiat did a loop around the pitch
