Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y45/S1

Still trying to shake off the ache from the bludger hit, Milo changed directions, keeping an eye on where Santiago was in case he saw a good opening.

Santiago missed his shot.

Milo was still single-mindedly following Santiago, intent on getting a payback hit in before practice could end.

Teddy didn't find the snitch.

Things were a bit quiet on the field but Teddy didn't take much notice of everyone else. He was too busy not finding the snitch.

Teddy wondered if the team had finished training and forgotten to tell him. He still didn't catch the snitch.

Rāwhiti kept up the search as the team practiced on, hoping for any glimmer of the snitch.

Milo was catching up on Santiago but he still wasn't able to line up a decent shot, glaring at a bludger as it shot the other direction.

Bas took hold of the quaffle and zoomed towards the hoops. He really hoped he would score this time.

Milo took a wild swing at a passing bludger, deciding to give up on accuracy if he could just hit one. He did not hit one.

Rāwhiti flew closer to the stands, wondering if the snitch was hiding near the seats.

Raawhiti looked like a sitting duck searching near the stands and Milo tried to send a bludger his way, annoyed when he barely managed a glancing blow. Maybe he should stick to targeting his new rival, Santiago he decided.

Teddy thought he saw the snitch but it turned out to be something else.

Teddy kept looking, he really wanted to catch the snitch once more before training finished.

Milo felt a bludger shoot past him, gritting his teeth and putting on a bit more speed as he chased after it.

Bas made another attempt at scoring but it seemed he was sluggish from being tired and had not scored.

For all that he worked out, Rāwhiti was starting to get tired and he knew the team must feel the same. He hoped there was one more catch in his future, but knew he would need to call the practice soon.

Santiago continued to fly around looking for bludgers. When he did he swung, hoping to get one of the seekers or other beaters but it went wide and hit one of the chasers instead. @Basquiat Jackson

Rāwhiti - 1
Teddy - 1
Genevieve - 1
Milo - 1
Basquiat - 1

Teddy did not find the snitch.

Santiago looked for another bludger to hit.

Rāwhiti kept one eye on the other players as he kept up the search, figuring he'd give it a few more minutes before calling the practice.

Santiago swung and missed.

Rāwhiti flew on, hoping to get one last catch in before practice was over.

Santiago hit another bludger and this time aimed for Rāwhiti but instead hit Teddy instead. @Teddy Pirrip

Rāwhiti - 1
Teddy - 2
Genevieve - 1
Milo - 1
Basquiat - 1

Rāwhiti wove away from a bludger, just in time for a shimmer of gold to catch his eye. His eyes widened and he barrelled towards it, pulling himself together as he shot into a dive powered by pure adrenaline. He whooped as his fingers closed around the ball, spiralling out of his dive with his hand held high. Looking around at the team, he gave a small nod before blowing his whistle for attention. "Let's call it guys, awesome practice! Hit the showers, rest up, and make sure you get any bruises that need it seen to. Fantastic play everyone, Slytherin's not gonna know what hit 'em!" With the practice officially over, he set about gathering up the rest of the balls to store them, eager for the shower to come.
