Gryffindor practice part two

Jacob grinned as Lysander succeeded in hitting someone. Sure, it probably wasn't who he intended, but they could work on accuracy later. Finding his own bludger, Jacob tried to hit it at Sierra but watched as it went right into @Lysander Summers instead. These bludgers were in a mood today.

Sully's back still ached, but he wasn't about to let the other chasers think he was out of the game. Hoping to use the distraction of the bludgers flying about, Sully swooped in again, taking the quaffle before Fleur or Noel could get to it and swerving back in to either line up a pass or another goal. He did notice the hit was making his movements feel sluggish, but Sully tried to shrug it off as best he could.

Lysander had been about to move on when he felt something hard and heavy slam into his arm, almost forcing him to drop the bat in his hand. Karma, for hitting one of his own gold teammates, he bet. He let out a pained cry and clutched his arm, pausing to quietly soothe it and avoid the tears threatening to sting his eyes.

Noel was just starting his way to the quaffle when a bludger already came in his way. He made a painfull noice and face as the bludger hit him in the side. He didn't even did something and already got hit. It was a good one for the beater but not so much for him. He followed Fleur and Sully along and hoped to steal the quaffle soon. He wanted to score badly. And so he did he managed to take it from Sully and continued his way to the hoops.

Rule 2A

Sully cursed under his breath when Noel was able to wrestle the quaffle away right before he was ready to score. Back aching, Sully shot off after his roommate. "It's on now, Noel!"

Lysander shifted his bat from his right to his left, to give his aching arm a break, and swung at a passing bludger. He'd intended to hit it into Noel and give Sully an opportunity to steal the quaffle back for their team, but it rocketed off course and into @Christian Cade instead.

Noel grinned as Sully spoke. And he flew fast to the hoops. His side still hurted but he tried. But he failed he missed it. Next time again. But he was ready for a game against Sully.

Lysander lowered his bat and flew alongside Sierra, opting to focus on defense for a while.

Sully didn't want to cheer too loudly when Noel's shot missed, but he did give a small whoop of victory, swooping in to take the quaffle back from Ren. "Nice save, Ren. You'll get 'em next time bud," Sully said as he shot past Noel, making his way back to the other hoops.

Not willing to wait for the other chasers, Sully pulled up in front of the goal, still feeling his back twinging uncomfortably as he hurled the quaffle. He groaned when the shot didn't manage to go in, rolling his shoulders to loosen the tension as he waited for the quaffle to be thrown back in.

Sander flew idly around, watching as his teammate attempted to score. He felt bad for having accidentally hit him with a bludger in the first place, and focused on finding another to hit the scarlet team with.

After Noel's failed attempt, Fleur ignored Sully as she flew up to grab the quaffle. She tucked it under her arm, and started to make her way to the other hoops, hoping to get a goal in for their team.

Sully wasted no time tailing after Fleur once she had the quaffle, eager to give chase.

Noel saw Sully going away with the quaffle and followed him. He grinned shortly when he missed as well. But there was a chance they would score now. Fleur had the quaffle and Noel flew along. Spotting Sully as well.

The bludgers had become elusive, and every swing Lysander made seemed to be avoided at the last minute. He pouted in frustration and continued his chase.

Fleur had Noel as back up now, which was making getting to the quaffle just that much harder. Deciding to go more on the defensive for once, Sully surged forward, trying to overtake the pair so he could give Ren a little back up if Fleur tried to score.

Sierra grinned at Lysander when he started to fly next to her, before zooming away at what she thought might be the snitch. It wasn't.

Lysanders face lit up when Sierra left him, thinking perhaps she'd catch the snitch for their team, and shrugged when it didn't seem to be the case. He accelerated to catch up with her, and continued his search.

Sully pulled up before he got too close to the hoops. He knew he wasn't allowed to be too close to them or anything since he wasn't the keeper, but he hoped he could provide some interference to stop Fleur from getting an easy shot in.

Sierra shrugged at Lysander when he reappeared. Her eyes went back to the pitch and scanned again, hoping to see the snitch.

Lysander flew in lazy zigzags, realising the bludgers were too far from him to do anything for the time being. He was reluctant to fly off on his own again, and waste getting in any defensive practice.

Fleur was glad Noel had her back, but she wanted to try scoring herself. She flew over to the hoops and threw the quaffle, grinning as she managed to score.

Sully let out a garbled noise, somewhere between a cheer and a whine when Fleur managed to blow past him and score. "Damn, good shot!" He called to her, grabbing the quaffle from Ren and making his way back to the other end of the pitch.

Sierra hummed to herself as she continued to look for the snitch

Coming up on the hoops, Sully took the moment to practice grabbing the quaffle with both hands for the shot, trying to give it a bit more oomph. His steering with just his knees wasn't great yet though, and Sully was barely able to keep his broom on track as he hurled the quaffle, unsurprised when his shot went wide.
