Jacob had high hopes for a good practice today. He'd arrived to the pitch pretty early so he could do some speed laps before getting everything ready. The team was working together well and practices had been going well. And he wanted that to continue. Jacob flew close to the ground, his toes skimming the grass before he slid off of his broom. The teen greeted his teammates as they arrived on the pitch. He was eager to begin. "Feel free to warm up or do a few laps while we wait for everyone to get here."

Entrances please

Fleur was sad that the next Quidditch match was possibly her last, but at least she could still enjoy practices before that time. She arrived with her broom, smiling at Jacob as he greeted them. She decided to take his advice and take laps to warm up, hoping they could get going quickly.

Sully had been eager to get back into flying after the holidays. It was nice to get home and not have homework and stuff, but Sully missed magic so much. He was also psyched for their big game coming up. He didn't know if he'd get to play, but the last game had been so short it was kind of fun to just celebrate the victory anyway.
Hopping onto his broom once he arrived at practice, Sully didn't waste any time getting back into the swing of things, grabbing one of the quaffles and flying after Fleur to warm up. "Fleur, warm up with me!" He called to her, chucking the quaffle over.

Christian was glad to be heading back to the Quidditch pitch after what seemed like an eternity since their last game. He made his way down to the pitch and out to meet his teammates and waited for practice to start.

Sierra had decided that she loved Quidditch. It definitely was an unexpected favorite thing of hers, but she always looked forward to training, even though last time she had knocked herself out. She was keen to try the stunt again but without knocking herself out this time. Upon entering the pitch, Sierra saw her new friend Christian, who she approached with a grin. "Hello Christian!" She said, going to give him a hug.

Ren was determined to take this more seriously than he had last time. After a firm scolding from his sisters, he made his way down to practice, giving the captain a smile before flying up with the others to do some laps.

Christian was a little surprised by the hug Sierra gave him but it wasn't unwelcome. The girl was a bundle of energy and the most affectionate person he'd ever met. It wasn't a bad kind of person to have in his life. "Hey Sierra, ready to catch the snitch," He grinned at her as he returned the hug.

Noel was ready for practice and smiled as he joined the team. He smiled at Sully and heard him speaking tot the other chaser Fleur. He went standing with them and waited for the practice to begin.

Lysander was always pumped for a Quidditch practice. He beamed at everyone as he joined them on the pitch, and took to the sky for some warm-up laps while they waited.

"Ok everyone" Jacob shouted, hands cupping his mouth. He'd left his wand in the locker room. Once everyone had drawn closer, he began. "We're so close to the championship. I know we can do this. We've been practicing so we'll all year and playing well. Let's have a good practice today." Jacob had so much to say but he was going to save some of it for the game. "Team Scarlet - Christian, Willow, me, Noel ,and Fleur.Team Gold - Ren, Sierra, Lysander, Beth, Solomon."

Jacob kicked open the practice chest and released everything. He tucked the quaffle under his arm as he mounted his broom and kicked off, releasing the quaffle when he was well up in the air. "ok. Let's go!"

Practice time! Let me know if you have questions or issues

Lysander stopped to sink back down as Jacob shouted his motivational speech. He had a good feeling about the championship, and he'd grown more confident in himself as the practices and matches wore on. The boy took back to the sky as the balls were released, and wasted no time in batting a bludger before it could get too far away from him. He cheered to himself as it managed to connect, and went spiraling into @Noel Waldgrave. He offered an apologetic wave of his bat, and zoomed off to find another bludger.

Jacob took a half hearted swing at a bludger, sending it away from himself but not towards anyone else.

Once the teams were picked Christian mounted his broom and went off to his set of hoops.

Sully let out a sympathetic whistle when Lysander managed to nail Noel with a bludger straight away before grabbing the quaffle, making his way towards the hoops.

Jacob swung at another bludger but missed completely this time. He wasn't too bothered by it, continuing to fly and watching the others practice too.

With Elizabeth not quite close enough to pass to, Sully tried for a goal himself, chucking the quaffle in an overarm throw. He groaned when Christian was able to easily block it. "I'm just not warmed up yet," He announced, repositioning as he waited for Christian to throw the ball back in.

"Hell yes!" Sierra exclaimed back at Christian. Soon, the teams were called and Sierra jumped on her broom, taking to the skies to look for the little golden flying ball.

Pleased with himself, Lysander flew off to find another bludger, chasing after one he'd seen Jacob hit away earlier.

Still feeling miffed about his missed shot earlier, Sully waited until the perfect moment to swoop in and steal the Quaffle before Fleur or Noel could get their hands on it, calling out a cheerful little "Yoink!" before looping back to the hoops, trying to size up Christian for an opening.

Fleur was happy when practice started for real, and she flew off once Sully managed to grab the quaffle. She attempted to steal it from him, but he attempted to score instead. Before Fleur could grab the quaffle back, Sully stole it again. She narrowed her eyes, then tried to see if she could grab the quaffle as he attempted to score. She would have to wait and see how it went.

Fleur was hot on his tail and Sully didn't have nearly as much time to line up his shot as he wanted. Putting on a burst of speed, he slung the quaffle to the far right hoop, cheering when Christian wasn't able to block it in time. "That's more like it," He said with a fist pump.

Lysander's swing toward the bludger he'd been pursuing skimmed far above the metal ball, and he huffed in frustration as it flew away from him.

Jacob wasn't having much luck today but he had plenty else to do while practice was going on. The teen hit a bludger that was coming in hot but didn't manage to do much with it.

Lysander resumed his pursuit of the bludger he'd missed, determined to hit it now that it had evaded him. He caught up and gave it a solid whack, grinning at it spiralled away from him. And into one of his own teammates. He sucked air through his teeth and paused, semi-hiding his bat behind his back. "Are you okay?" He called out to @Solomon Tofilau, fingers crossed in the hopes that no one actually noticed who it came from, and assumed it had hit him out of nowhere.

Sully was still celebrating when something slammed into his back, pitching him forward. He felt tears sting his eyes but tried to blink them away as he caught his breath. He thought he heard the sound of someone talking to him and checked over his shoulder, giving Lysander a vague thumbs up in response to whatever he'd said, still feeling too winded to try to catch the quaffle as it was thrown back in.
