Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation

As a prefect, Amber was invited to attend the graduation ceremony. She had attended last year too, and had rather enjoyed it. But this year she also felt a little anxious about the whole thing. It was starting to hit home that this would be the final graduation ceremony she would attend before she was graduating herself. In one year, she would be the one on that stage accepting her diploma. That was a thought that she couldn’t let go of as she sat and watched the ceremony. It didn’t help that unlike last year, she actually knew almost every student graduating now at least vaguely. She wasn’t close friends with any of them, but she had seen them around the castle for the past six years and was familiar with most of them. The head girl’s speech made her smile, as the way she talked about the professors was very nice. Amber did think the political talk wasn’t necessarily the most appropriate for a speech, especially when the comment about voting for her in ten years. But she still applauded politely when the speech was over. For the most part, it had been very nice. Then she watched as Professor Alicastell called names and handed out diplomas. The only person she had really had any contact with was Marisol, and that hadn’t been very positive. But as she accepted her diploma, Amber still smiled and clapped like she had with everyone else. The little conflicts between them seemed silly now, and she genuinely hoped she would have a great time after Hogwarts. She hoped the same for every other student here, and she was actually very curious what they would end up doing. She still wasn’t sure about what she herself was going to do after graduation, so she was tempted to go ask a few of the students. But she was sure they had other things on their mind than answering her questions today.

It was a little strange to be allowed to attend the graduation ceremony now that she was a prefect. If Rose was completely honest, she still sometimes forgot she was a prefect now. It looked very official, and somehow a lot more intimidating than she had expected. It was strange to think that in only two years it would be her turn, but she decided not to think about that too much. She didn’t know too many people in the graduating class, but she had grown closer to Bethany over the past year as she helped with her mother’s campaign. She grinned at the older girl as she gave her speech, surprised that her mother and her campaign were mentioned. Rose was slowly starting to get used to the fact that everyone knew who her mother was now, even though that was still definitely strange to her. She thought Bethany had a really good speech, it was nice but also fun and not boring at all. When the speeches were done, the graduates were called one by one to accept their diploma. Rose clapped politely, but she was starting to get bored after a while. There were a lot of names.

Tristan sat near a few of his fellow prefects to watch the graduation ceremony. It was a little strange to be invited to this, but he did like it. It would help him prepare for his own graduation ceremony, something he absolutely couldn’t wait for. He sat up straight and smiled politely as the headmistress started it off by letting the head boy and girl say their speech. But he barely listened to the head girl’s speech, as he was too busy thinking about what he would say if it was him up there. And if he worked hard and kept his reputation up, he knew he would be the one giving the speech in two years. He clapped politely, though he couldn’t help a slight scoff as the head girl announced she would be running for minister in ten years. Sure, he had similar dreams, but he wasn’t going to shout that out to everyone a decade in advance. It seemed a little desperate to him. Of the graduates, he didn’t know many. He made sure to seem like he was paying close attention to the entire ceremony, even if he was bored out o f his mind simply listening to names being called and watching people step onto the stage to accept their diploma. He watched Ares a little more closely, as he was the one person Tristan really knew a bit better than the others. He was still a little bitter about how the boy had rejected him the previous year, but truthfully a lot of that had been smoothed over when he had been named Vice-President of the brotherhood club. Now that the boy was graduating, Tristan had some plans for where he wanted the club to go. He stayed attentive and invested the entire time, aware that professors were watching everyone. If he wanted to be head boy in two years, he had to be perfect where everyone could see him.

Isaiah couldn't believe that his two baby brothers were graduating from hogwarts. It seemed like the time had just flown by, both with regards to his own graduation and also with how quickly his brothers had grown up. Isaiah was immensely proud of them both, he knew that when both Ares and Xavier left school that they would excel in whatever they did. Admittedly he could say that he had fallen a little more out of contact with them as they'd all gotten older, but he still felt the same deep connection to them as when they had been so much young. Toddlers, babies. He loved them both dearly. isaiah took a moment before the ceremony to seek them both out and spend a little time with them. Letting them know prior to it how proud of them that he was. He was more focused on them than the fact he was back at school, he hadn't been back obviously since he'd graduated and the place felt oddly foreign to him. he was sure much had changed between then and the days when he'd been at it. He took his seat and listened along to the speech given, thinking back to his own, given with Pia and just the pride and joy he had felt at being able to speak. It was nicely personal. Isaiah smiled as the speech was wrapped up and applauded with the rest for it. The event quickly moved on and people began crossing the stage. He recognised some of the names of the students, people from his own house mostly, and then finally his brothers were up. Isaiah cheered loudly for them both. Positively beaming with pride as they graduated. He was so happy for them. So pleased for them. He couldn't be happier for his younger brothers. He continued to applaud politely until the ceremony was brought to an end and he was able to seek them out. This good event called for drinks and many of them. They were all of the age now that they could enjoy drinks together.

Tobiah had been quite surprised when the invitation had come in, a small bit of pleasure in the fact that no one else in the family had been followed. The man had posted the invitation on his fridge, though each day he floundered on whether he'd actually attend. Tobiah wasnt particularly close to any of his siblings. The older brothers had always felt bossy to him, too tough on him to ever feel like he could share his innermost thoughts, and the younger two were twins, an immediate connection he never felt he could compete with. So, when he stepped into the hall of Hogwarts New Zealand, it was a surprise even to him. He was neatly dressed, a fresh haircut so that Sianna would see that he was doing well and hopefully assume grander things of him that might then get passed on to his other siblings. Being a Djordjevic always felt like a small series of competitions to one up each other.

As Sianna was called to cross the stage, Tobiah clapped heartily, happy to see his sister looking so beautiful and well. The rest of the ceremony before and after was boring, though he'd always found anything school related boring. It was why he'd almost not graduated in the first place and when he had, it certainly wasn't at a school as grand looking as this one. Looking only slightly uncomfortable as the ceremony ended, Tobiah wondered if Sianna would seek him out or if he should seek her. He glanced around too, wondering if he might recognize some resemblance as he recalled that Amy had a sibling who worked here.

Ari returned to Hogwarts as today was graduation day for all the seventh years. A traditional ceremony just like last year, would formally take place in the great hall. He felt honored and pleasantly happy for the invite from his girlfriend, Bethany. The inexperience boyfriend in him, at first, didn't know how to react when she asked via owl to attend the ceremony. A year apart, their busy schedules, and the long distant may have cause him to be more reserved and quiet when he appeared by the entrance. Ari tugged inward his wine, sleeked blazer. No matter, Ari came to fully support his girlfriend, who also happen to be this year head girl. With or without the title, Ari witness the pride in the girl that's stolen his heart when she went up to speak at the podium. She had accomplished amazing things in her years at Hogwarts. He recognized her achievements over the past year while attending school along with her. How did he ever get so lucky to end up with Bethany, is still a mystery to him. He smiled sincerely and clapped his hands when she announced she would be running for minister of magic. Ari fully support her decision, he pray to see that dream come true with Ari supporting and standing by her side. What matters most is the chances we took along the way and the growth we experienced outside of the classroom. He couldn't agree more with that sentiment. Ari like to believe they took chances in each other, and hope more chances are taken together. Ari clapped when her speech concluded. He waited when she collected her diploma to move away from the entrance. Arianna couldn't make it, Ari would have to see his little sister later or wait until the break to visit her back home. For the time being, he went to congratulate Bethany with a sweet kiss, if he could muster up his nerves to actually do it right in the presents of her family members.

Jerara hadn’t ever attended a graduation before. He was the eldest of his family so he would be the first. Though he wondered if any of his family would be able to attend his graduation, since none of them were magical. He took a seat with Tristan and looked towards the front where the front was and the podium was. The teen knew it was going to be rather boring and with a whole load of books that he wanted to read now that he finally had time, he was here. He knew though that he had to come. Not that he cared about anyone but Ellie. He was here for her. Not because he was a prefect, because he was here to applaud loudly for his girlfriend, the relationship that was now a little more up in the air. He listened as the speech was given, not caring about it, but listening along. Eventually the names were being read out, and he applauded loudly for Ellie, so proud of her. She did look very beautiful up there, and he knew that she would do just fine. He would miss her, but if they had to wait a little while before they could be properly together again then they would. He would just need to talk to her soon. It wasn’t nearly as bad as he had expected the whole celebration to be, it was actually quite nice and it was good to see the students graduate, notice their families and friends and how proud they all were. Maybe he should speak to his head of house and find out if his family would be able to come.

Signy was disappointed that she wouldn’t be able to spend more time with Xavier, he was graduating and they would be heading on slightly different paths for just a little bit. The teen was sat in the room with a proud expression on her features. She had spotted the eldest Jeffreys in amongst the crowd, knowing him from when he’d been at the school and from what she had gathered about him from Xavier. She took a seat in the room and found the back of Xavier’s head in the crowd of students. She was so proud of him. He was so deserving of his graduation, he had worked so hard. Signy liked him a lot and though her schooling would be lonelier without him, that was the price they paid for their slight age difference. She listened eagerly to the head girl speech and nodding along. She enjoyed it, it was a nice celebration and she knew it would be her up there soon. The teen applauded for the other students, for the ones that she knew, the hufflepuffs and some of the other girls she knew. She cheered loudly for Xavier, feeling very proud of him and waving a little at him too. Signy was so proud of him. She was so happy for him. Though they maybe had to have a conversation about where they were at, but for now she would just enjoy the celebration.

The charms professor attended most of the graduations, if he had the time of course. But he had the time that semester, so he was now in the graduation ceremony. He would miss this graduating class, as he did with most of them. The professor smiled as he listened to the head girl speak. He had seen a lot of students pass his class and though he didn’t keep up with many of them after school, he was sure that his charms teaching had been valuable to them. He knew that he used charms a lot in his personal life so he knew others would too. He applauded for his students the ones who’d made it that far and those who hadn’t. He was very proud of them all. Graduations didn’t get easier really. Maybe he just had to continue teaching for another 20 years and he might get used to it. But for now he wasn’t used to it and would just have to be a little sad at saying goodbye to another set of students.

Monty had many graduations ago stopped bothering to suppress the emotion that inevitably welled in his eyes every year. There was something about the finality of goodbyes that scared and saddened him, so that no matter from whom or what he was parting he felt as if something important had been severed from himself. It had something to do with his age. Goodbyes were milestones to which he would never return; memories in the making. Many of the students who made their way up to the stage to collect their diplomas, Monty would never see again. But he was comforted, as always, by the knowledge that the door they were closing on him would herald the opening of several more for them: they were about to step out into the world as adults, free to make their own decisions, and to shape their lives as they desired it and had the determination to do so. Between applauding he wiped the tears from his face, happy for the students and sad for himself all at the same time, and wishing that time would slow down for just a moment for him to appreciate every second of life as much as it deserved to be appreciated.

The invitation to Xavier's graduation had been a pleasant surprise to Kauri, and he had accepted it gratefully. He hadn't known what to expect but had dressed up nicely, feeling that it seemed the kind of occasion that would require it. Just thinking about graduation felt surreal. It dawned on Kauri as he was waiting for the ceremony to begin that he was now more than halfway through his own time at Hogwarts, and it wouldn't be all that long before it was his turn to stand on that stage. He tried not to focus on that, listening carefully as the speeches began. Although he had never talked to her, Kauri had looked up to Bethany as a prefect and head girl, and he was going to miss seeing her around the school. Her talk about her goals made him smile, and he applauded when the speech was over. Bethany had his vote for sure. And then the ceremony began, and Kauri watched, finding himself a little choked up as he clapped for the people getting their certificates. This was so soon in his own future, and then what? Adulthood was scary, and Kauri didn't feel ready for it. He clapped louder for Xavier, wanting to give his friend his support. It was a strange thought that he wasn't going to be able to hang out with Xavier at school anymore, and it only hit him in that moment how much he would miss bug hunting with the older boy, and coordinating their Halloween costumes.

It was a bizarre feeling, attending a graduation ceremony for the first time. October didn't know any students in seventh year especially well, but they had been part of the landscape of Hogwarts the entire time she had attended, and with this, they would just be gone, off to become adults. She stayed composed as she listened to Bethany's speech, a little surprised that the older girl was thinking so big already. It struck her how little idea she had of what she actually wanted to do after graduation, and October pushed those thoughts away quickly, trying to just focus on the ceremony. She clapped politely for the graduates, slightly shaken at the thought of how soon it would be her own turn on that stage.

Attending the annual graduation ceremony was always an overwhelming experience for Jon, who felt a disenchanted sinking in his chest and alternately a sense of pride in seeing the students he had taught since their fifth year leave school and move on to bigger and better things. Though the last two years, and that year in particular the feeling was more overwhelming than usual as it was not just his seventh year students that made him so intensely proud, but every seventh year that was graduating. Jon was a professor for the entirety of their seven years in school, and it was emotional to realize how much each student had grown and watch them say their final goodbyes, ending this chapter of their lives. As Jon clapped eagerly for the head girl's speech as well as for each student that walked on stage to receive their diplomas, he tried not to show this emotion too obviously for the sake of keeping composed, but as the ceremony continued he couldn't keep his eyes from welling up at least a little. He hoped dearly that each of the new graduates would live long and happy lives now that they were out of school.

Professor Kingsley patted her friend Monty's shoulder as she clutched a tissue in the other hand. Some years she needed it more than others and with the Head Boy and Girl coming from her own house, she had known this would be a year she needed several. Bethany had grown so very much during her time in the school, and the woman chuckled as she declared her intent to one day run for Minister, no doubt propelled by seeing a woman having just recently done the thing. She had chuckled at that, though the rest of her speech had been seen through blurry eyes.

Clapping as each graduate passed to obtain their diploma, Cyndi couldn't help but be proud of each one of her Gryffindors. This had been a good bunch, a particularly strong and confident set of Gryffindors were crossing rhe stage and their presence in the common room would be sorely missed by her. The womans thoughts attempted to drift to her upcoming holidays but she forced herself to focus on the here and now, plenty of time to dwell on other things later. As the ceremony ended, the woman turned to her friend to make some plans to meet during the holidays.
