Lillith smiled wildly as Tilly approached her. “Hey Tilly!” She greeted back. “Hm.. Nope! I was just going to maybe randomly pick one and hope it turns out well.” She said, truthfully, before wondering what Tilly would take. Maybe she’d just take the same thing she did, it would be fun to have her friends in the same class. “How ‘bout you?”

Saira hadn't been planning to take muggle studies at all, she thought the most it would was an easy grade. “I don’t see the point in having a class on muggles, especially when a lot of the school is muggleborn.” She said, glancing at the muggle studies booth and then at the arithmancy one. “What, what is arithmancy?” She asked Liusaidh. She had heard about it before but never really looked into it.

Briar started aranging the pictures as she saw students passing by. most of the time they were just talking among themselves. a couple stopped to look at the animals or the pictures.
She heard a voice near by she looked to see a girl. ask if the creature was a Fwooper. for a second she sounded like lin talking about the birds. "Yes it is. on both things" she said. it was pretty its bright ploomage still vibrent despite the rainy day. at the next question she spread out the pictures on the desk. "well early on you have more small creatures but in forth year you will learn about bigger and more dangerous creatures. staring from hippergrifs and unicorns to dragons and kappas and manticores" she said. hopingthat it answered the girl's question.

Liusaidh didn't care about the muggles at school, she just thought it was an inferior subject because muggles were well....inferior..The girl gave a half shrug, "Ah heard it's like maths and future tellin'" Liusaidh said she wasn't sure it was that but that was what she heard. "If ah had ma way, ah'd take none of them," she shrugged, she didn't need any of these subjects. "Ah dinnae need them, so whats the point..but apparently ah have tae,"

Flynn turned his head as someone actually went and responded to his question. While he was sure that Muggle Studies would be easy, he could already feel himself starting to yawn just thinking about that. "How can you possibly spend a whole semester learning about pencils?" They couldn't be that interesting so you would need more than one lesson on them. "Think I'll pass on that one."

@Sawyer Carnahan

"Oh, that's an odd match." Saira didn't think math and future telling was a pair that often went together, though she supposed she didn't know much about future telling, nor was she too interested. Then again if she knew well enough about the future she would need not worry about her brother's arrival back in England."Well, there's probably a way out of taking electives. Maybe they'll let you out of them if you give a good enough excuse." Saira said, though slightly distracted.

@Liusaidh Fergusson

"Oh you know, like the lead and uh.. Stuff," Sawyer said, huffed in amusement and shrugging at Flynn's question when he reached the end of his own pencil knowledge. "Yeah, I think you're safe there," He added when Flynn decided he wasn't interested in muggle studies. Or in pencils. "Magical creatures is probably fun if you're more interested in things that could eat you," He offered to Flynn instead, checking a pamphlet that listed all the available classes. He still hadn't really decided what he wanted to pick himself, torn between something interesting or something easy. @Flynn North

Elvera had forgotten about the electives fair she had spent the morning baking for it but had got caught up with her private seer lesson with selene. she had just sat down with a cup of tea when she remembered that she was meant to be in the courtyard. she waved her wand and a selection of equipment packed themselves into a bag another wave and some cups arranged themselves on a tray next to the muffins. she filled her big teapot it would be perfectly brewed by the time she got to the bottom. she picked up the bag one last wave the tray and teapot floated after her. she then left her office cursing, not for the first time, how high up the divination tower was. remembering fondly the time she had been deputy headmistress and had an office on the second floor she could go to without having to follow quite so many steps. she reached the courtyard with the event in full swing.
She stopped at the table next to Yvonne who was answering one girl's question about the class. it was interesting that she said that divination was also about getting to know yourself. She had never thought of it that way but the lady was right. maybe that was why she had been so scared of her daughter learning the skill. there were things about the girl's history that she didn't want her to know. she set about unpacking the bag and laying the things on the table making sure that the muffins were clear for people to see. Of course, she would never BRIBE students to take her class with cake. but it would be a disservice for them to not know the perks of her classes.

Ivy nodded and listened closely as the professor explained what Runes could be used for, taking rapid notes. "Will we learn how to use them for warding spells or enchanted objects?" She asked, thinking that sounded useful. "And translating ancient writings?" She shook her head when the professor suggested doing a reading, she was more interested in practical applications. "The pendants sound interesting." She then said. "What do they do?"

She then frowned when Brooke spoke to her. "I don't see how you can be prepared without proper research." She told the girl with a huff. "I see the electives fair as an essential part of choosing. Are you sure you didn't make some hasty decisions?" She asked her friend, trying for the same sweet tone but failing miserably. She smiled at Delilah who joined them. "I'm sure Brooke is about to enlighten us." She said with a wry smile.

Tilly shrugged at Lillith. “Honestly, I don’t know. Want to talk to some of the professors?” The girl had thought she would be interested in Care of Magical Creatures, but she’d honestly gotten burned out on animals. She didn’t like them as much as she did when she was little. She approached the Divination table and eyed the muffins. Certainly, Lillith would be interested in sweets. She wondered if the muffins would help them see the future.

Tilly smiled at the older of the two professors. She reached without shame for a muffin. “Do you always have treats in Divination?” she asked, for Lillith’s benefit as much as hers.
