Here is the area for invited guests, staff, professors and prefects to post while at the graduation. Please be reminded that you are also invited to start separate RPs that take place after the graduation ceremony has concluded.

Vanity honestly wanted to skip this event, but a part of her wanted to make sure she saw June actually graduate and leave the school. She rolled her eyes when she barreled right over Hugo to start her own stupid speech. She cupped her hands around her mouth. "BOOO!" She called, delighted to hear a similar sound from the graduate portion of the audience. She didn't want to get in trouble, so she stopped after that but she did put her fingers in her ears until June was finally done talking. She was so glad she'd never have to see her stupid face again.

Teddy sat with the lower years at the graduation ceremony, listening to Hugo's speech until June cut him off after just a few words. Teddy's brow furrowed, though smirked again when others booed, brilliant he thought. He joined in with a boo of his own although quieter, careful not to risk spoiling Hugo’s graduation. June’s long and self indulgent speech somehow managed to make him dislike her even more than he already did. He didn’t bother clapping when she finished, saving it for Hugo who had handled being sidelined far better than Teddy ever would have.

Teddy listened to Hugo and wondered in the back of his mind if he would get a mention. He smirked when he said about his love of books and made comparisons with life, catching his eye and smiling when he looked at him. Teddy thought he'd nailed it and cheered loudly at the end, giving him a thumbs up. He kept clapping as the graduates received their diplomas, cheering for Fraser and Santiago who he would miss on the Quidditch field next year. Speaking of, he only had one more year himself, Teddy thought, and then it would be his turn to stand up there. He still hasn't figured out if the idea made him excited or absolutely terrified.

Acedia was hesitant to attend her daughter's graduation ceremony. She didn't like making big deals over small achievements, as finishing school was a given. The path was either finish through homeschooling or finish in a traditional setting, and Tempest had done just that, much to her dismay, as Acedia would have liked a bit more control over her children's education. Effie seemed to be headed the same route, but it didn't mean Acedia wouldn't voice her displeasure in her children's desires and whims. The mother of seven sat with three of her children, giving Sade her afternoon snack since this graduation ceremony interrupted their typical schedule.

She listened to the speeches, recognizing the name June from both Tempest and Enzo. She wasn't impressed with the girl very much, as the speech was less what you expected at a graduation ceremony and more what you expected at say, a birthday party or a celebration after the ceremony. Those were times for self-absorbed speeches. Acedia clapped for neither speech but gave a few small claps for Tempest as she walked across the stage, wincing slightly at Enzo's cheering for his sister, which he seemed to get Effie to participate in, as well. "Don't make a commotion, Lorenzo," she reminded, watching as her son finally stopped clapping. Acedia went back to observing the Great Hall itself as the rest of the graduates walked across the stage, ready to be finished with the event.

Lucy was full of conflicting emotions. She knew this meant Tempest would be gone from Hogwarts now - a fact they hadn't really talked about. Lucy assumed they'd still be together. Hopefully. A familiar uncertainty brewed in Lucy's gut as she thought about it. She was just nervous, that's all. Her attention was quickly grabbed by June interrupting Hugo, though. She'd been so in her thoughts and she frowned a little. That was a bit rude. Lucy hoped whoever got to be head girl next year would be a bit more polite.

Ignoring all of the drama, she waited patiently for Tempest to go up on the stage. Lucy clapped loudly for her girlfriend - maybe a tad too enthusiastically, but it was an exciting moment after all. She was proud and happy yet that sadness was creeping up on her again. Blinking away tears, Lucy kept clapping until it was over. Of course, she clapped for the other graduates. Just not as enthusiastically.

Stephanie sat with her hand and Leigh's, though she'd gripped it a little tighter when she'd seen the girl, June she believed, basically push Hugo aside. She supposed that wasn't quite what had happened, but it had looked like Hugo was about to go first only for him to suddenly defer to this girl. The Headgirl gave an okay speech she supposed, but she wasn't about to pretend she wasn't annoyed with her. Still, she clapped politely and looked at Leigh as she waited for Hugo to be the next up. Graduation. There were certainly times she had though there was no way she was going to get here. It was genuinely insane to her that there was still... well things tying her to schools she suppose. She turned slightly to watch him as he spoke, prouder of him than she could have ever been before. She thought he looked a little nervous, but he pushed though it, of course he did. Merlin she loved her kids.

Stephanie’s lips curved into the faintest, encouraging smile. He’d stumbled, but he hadn’t let it throw him. That, in itself, was growth. She laughed slightly at his mentioning of his love of books, because he was right. That was her boy alright. Forever buried in words. His house was no surprise. He looked so confident up there. He had found his voice in a way she wasn’t sure she’d ever seen before. As he continued, Stephanie's hand found it's way back to Leigh, and she squeezed it. Childhood. Home. Family. He was speaking of them, in his own way, and she could feel the emotion brimming in her throat.

It was when he mentioned adulthood and being the main character she slipped, clapping quietly before she caught herself and realised it wasn't the end yet. She couldn't help it, her son was so clever. She sat up a little straighter, determined that he would see her whenever he looked over to this section. She wasn't going to let anyone pretend she wasn't here for his graduation. Even if she'd wonder once, a long time ago, if she would ever get to this point. As he came to the end of his speech, she clapped at him, letting the tears fall as she listened.

She rose to her feet as the applause began, clapping furiously, heart bursting with pride. Her son. Her Hugo.

Camille sat down in the great hall, it was strange sitting here for another reason than normally. And it kind of made her sad seeing her sister go. Ofcourse they would still see eachother, but whatever path June would take was still unsure for her. Perhaps she would move away to England again. But June wouldn't be as close as she now was when they were both on this school. Thankfully she still had her father and Tess, but she really needed to step up her game and make sure she followed June's advice. Camille knew she never would come where June was, but she could try to at least make something of this years still.

When June and Hugo were called on the stage she clapped and smiled. Hugo started speaking and became quiet, and than June went on. Camille didn't thought anything of it, perhaps they just greeted both first and one would continue. Camille looked proudly at her sister and had to grin for an moment, she really took the spotlights like Camille was used to. She listened very carefully to every word and she figured June had prepared this well. As she listed all her achievements she wanted it was impressive to Camille. If she compared herself with it she was an big failure, and she wasn't jealous of it. But just hoped she would achieve something she could be proud of too. She felt proud of June at least that she managed to do this. And as she thanked and called out her biological parents, Camille felt that. And wiped away tears in the corner of her eyes. It was hard for sure she figured, and now when she looked around more that they weren't here to witness. And Cami felt for June, and perhaps even herself. Some loyalty she felt still for her biological parents. But she had Landon too, and June had Misha thankfully. He seemed kind, so far she knew and heard. When her sister finished she clapped, but heard some boo's going around. And Camille didn't liked that. She looked around, not that she would say something of it. But she didn't liked those vibes. That was so unrespectfull. And she hoped some professor would say something of it.

While Lorenzo hadn't finished up his schooling at Hogwarts and had instead taken the homeschooling route, it was nice to be back inside the castle, as it had been his home for quite a few years. He sat next to his mother and siblings as the ceremony started, adjusting his dress robes as Sade climbed onto his lap. The older brother was proud of his sister, glad to see her making her own path and finding things that brought joy into her life. When Tempest walked across the stage, Enzo stood up and cheered with Effie for the Slytherin. Their mother was less than pleased, and Enzo eventually sat back down, holding Sade back on his lap as she ate her snack. He clapped politely for the other graduates and waited eagerly for the ceremony to end so he could congratulate his sister.

Conan sat with his wife and son and could not help but cheer and clap for his daughter as she walked across the stage to get her diploma. He only felt a little bad when it came to his sister being in a bad mood—perfectly valid considering Mikael was not allowed to be in Graduation.

Taylor sat with her husband and son, watching Hina walk across a stage she'd felt like she'd only just walked across herself. She had spent a lot more time in HNZ lately than she'd really ever planned, but that was just how it had been going apparently. She felt bad about Ai, her best friend had been in a bad mood ever since she'd found out Mikael wasn't allowed to walk. Well, Taylor wasn't really surprised, she'd been wondering when Mikael would do something to piss off someone - apparently he'd pissed off the Headmaster.

Yvonne loved graduation. Any chance to celebrate student's accomplishments always put her in a good mood. The year had been a busy one as always. She didn't know how students managed to get up to so much while being locked in a castle but maybe that was exactly what made them all a bit crazy. She was looking forward to the break and for the much needed rest she was needing. She took her seat as the ceremony began and clapped as the head people were introduced. Yvonne frowned slightly when the head girl seemed to take over but when she heard some booing from the crowd she shot the culprits a sharp look. She so rarely had to be the enforcer of rules but she wasn't scared to if needed. Thankfully it passed with no other outbursts and the rest of the ceremony went on. She clapped with the speeches were done and clapped some more as the graduates walked across the stage. She was so happy for them and was excited for them to enjoy the rest of their big day.

Dominic felt a bit strange as he took his seat in the great hall. He had never been to Hogwarts New Zealand before, not even the quidditch pitch. It seemed his nephew had gotten the quidditch talent in the family, not that he cared, not really. He had been part of the first team at Ilvermorny and that was an honor in and of itself. Still it was strange to be at a school he had never stepped foot in before, even if plenty of his own students went on to attend. He always felt a little guilty when he couldn't answer their questions about what it would be like. Usually at that point he'd try and rope in April for her input, since her dad was headmaster after all.

Selfishly he was taking in the sights, partly because it was easier than thinking about how old he felt. It felt like he had blinked and went from his own graduation to Santiago's, not to mention his daughter sat between Zeke and him. He was proud of his nephew and knew school hadn't been easy on him. He also knew Victor had been in a hard position, Dominic wasn't sure if he had made the right choice but it was too late to worry about that. It had all worked out after all. But he also knew Santiago hadn't told his parents he was planning on going back to either Texas or Arizona after graduation. Dominic already had his room set up for him back home. But that wasn't his battle to fight, it was his brother's. Ramona had been plenty vocal about her displeasure over the news, which he was taking as a win since she was actually talking, or rather yelling, at him about it. The ceremony was as expected but he raised an eyebrow as there was some confusion about who's speech went first and he frowned when he saw Santiago join in the booing of the head girl. The rest went smoothly and he laughed as his brother's let out a loud whistle when Santiago's name was called. It was crazy to think about how he had watched Santiago grow up since he was a baby and now he was an adult. Dominic couldn't help but feel a little choked up about it.
