The end of the school year was here, the end of another year as headmaster. Some of the students wouldn't come back, they graduated and would start their adult lives as witches and wizards. Most of the students would simply have a well-deserved break before returning to Hogwarts. Matt was already looking forward to the new school year, even though he also felt like he could use a break.

As the students filed in, the banners adorning the Great Hall rippled and changed to reflect the signature blue and bronze colors of Ravenclaw house, signifying their victory for the year. It was a welcome change from Slytherin, in his quiet opinion. Matt made his way to the podium, waiting quietly for everyone to settle into their seats before speaking. "Welcome everyone to this year's final feast. Before we begin, I'd like to say a few words. First of all, a round of applause for the winners of this year's House Cup - congratulations to Ravenclaw!" He said, gesturing to the Ravenclaw table before conjuring the cup seemingly from thin air. He presented it to Professor Josephs on behalf of her house, giving her a big smile.

"Of course, we can't forget those students whose dedication and hard work earned the most points for their respective houses. Our top house point earners this year are - in first place, Lilith Ilves of Ravenclaw, with a grand total of 1345. In second place, with 1012 points - Teddy Pirrip of Gryffindor. In third, Winnie Calida of Slytherin, with 737. Last but not least, we have Bailey Walden-Cade, with 621 points for Hufflepuff. Congratulations to our winners." The Headmaster joined in the applause for each of them, commending their efforts and achievements toward their house.

As the applause died down, Matt gestured for silence so he could say a last few words. "With that, the school year of 2065 has ended. I hope you enjoy the feast and have a wonderful break. See you next year for the fiftieth year at this school!" With that, he sat down and watched as the food appeared on the tables. He hoped all the students would have a great feast.

It was always surreal when a year came to an end and as she sat at the table and Ravenclaw was deemed the winner of the House Cup she smiled and gave a clap to her fellow Ravenclaws. Then the Headmaster was off to announcing the top point earners and suddenly Lilith felt a little sheepish at the mention of her name at first place. Using her hair that was open she tried to hide her face a little bit, she'd done a lot of extra work but it was mostly because she enjoyed it. It had paid off and her house had won, but it was a combined effort. Feeling glad when the next top point earners were announced Lili gave claps to each one before focusing back to her food. "That's another year done then." She said to Eoghan next to her, leaning slightly into his side. She was excited for next year, especially given Tori would be back.

Another year done, still no House Cup for Gryffindor which was fine Professor Cade had enough to parade around with the Quidditch trophy, could you imagine the size of his ego if they'd won the House Cup too? She stared up at the Headmaster as he listed off the top house point earners and quite frankly good for them, because who even had the energy to get all those points? Clearly not Mania and even more clearly not poor Callie with her points still on the minus. Taking a fork and beginning to eat her food she scanned the people in her table, remembering last years food fight. That had been fun but she wasn't necessarily looking to start another one this year, no that she'd started the last one either but you know.

This end of year feast was bittersweet for Lucy. Tempest was going to be leaving the school, and although it was only one year away for Lucy too, it was a hard wait. She'd also done poorly on some of her subjects and her parents weren't going to be pleased. Lucy tried to shrug off her worries - the fact that Ravenclaw had won wasn't lost on her, nor was the fact that she'd managed to put on a talent show that year. She was still stoked about that. Lucy listened amiably, and clapped for those who won the points. "Well done!" Lucy congratulated @Lilith Ilves once the speech was over, smiling at the seeker. She felt a pang of jealousy but it didn't last long - if anything, it only left guilt in its wake. Lucy was starting to realise that maybe she hadn't made the most of Hogwarts as she'd hoped she might. Her face became serious as she contemplated her younger self.

Kyousuke was disappointed and distant. He barely heard the headmaster speak, barely looked at his food as the feast began. Slytherin had lost. More importantly, he'd gotten bad grades for the first time in his entire life. He emotionlessly put food on his plate but barely ate. He didn't know how he was going to face anyone. His father, his uncle, his girlfriend - no doubt all of them would be disappointed in him. He raised a bit of roast potato to his lips, eating it but not tasting it.

Aiya was glad that the year was finally over and was looking forward to the end of year feast. She wasn't sure what to expect. Was it a celebration or just an acknowledgement of the end of year? As the headmaster spoke, Aiya soon realised it was the latter. He announced some house point winners before then telling them to enjoy the feast and then their break. With a small shrug, the girl began grabbing some food and placing it onto her plate.

Teddy settled for the headmasters speech, listening to the top points earners which he was amongst again, as he was every year naturally. He raised an eyebrow at how many points the Ravenclaw seeker had got. Her total had come so close to breaking the school record Teddy had smashed back in his third year, but missed by only about 20 house points. Still, the record was safe, and he let out a small satisfied breath at that.

When the food appeared, he helped himself to a few dishes and filled his goblet, though he wished he were over at the Ravenclaw table with Hugo for their last meal in the castle. Before eating anything, Teddy turned in his seat and caught Hugo’s eye across the hall, then lifted his goblet in a private toast to them. @Hugo Stark-West

Morrie sat stiffly at the Slytherin table with her arms tight across her chest as the headmaster spoke. Her eyes soon betrayed her to look at Mikael. Of course he was here. Banned from graduation, but not from the feast where he got to sit near her. If he so much as twitched a smile in her direction, she’d tear this hall down brick by bloody magical brick and she didn't even care.

Her arm gave another dull throb which made her look away. Weeks had passed and it still ached in ways that made her wonder if this was how it would always be now. She hardly reacted when the headmaster finished talking and all the food appeared. The dishes were obscene, piled high, and watching her classmates pick at them like scavengers turned her stomach. All Morrie wanted was to get out, to be anywhere but at this feast.

It felt a little surreal that his schooling was at an end. That he had done so many years of it and it was over. he had been surprised with how it gone, nothing had worked out like he'd expected and yet, his future had never been so clear. he had june, he had his potential team, he had a hobby he hadn't had when he'd come to the school. Fraser glanced tot he head master one last time and applauded with everyone for the top points, cheering loudly for teddy and then that was it, the food appeared and he knew this was the end of his school. It felt far more final than his graduation had.

Callie was feeling pretty bittersweet, as a sixth year, the year had been good, easier than OWLs but a good year, she had her apparition license, and she had her job and she was ready to face the world. She hadn't decided what she would do after the following year, but she knew she had options and options were a good thing. Callie glanced around she was pretty pleased that ravenclaw had won the cup even if she really hoped one of these days Hufflepuff would win it. She applauded for the students and then smiled as the food appeared.

Enoch was so ready to be done with his schooling, it was deeply frustrating to have another year to go. He just knew it was pointless, whatever he'd learn then wouldn't be necessary, surely. He had 95% of the knowledge he needed, what would another do. He didn't care about the house cup or who won the most points, he didn't understand why anyone cared. Enoch didn't applaud didn't even seemingly acknowledge it, instead focused on the food when it appeared and thinking about what he'd do when the train got into the station.

Vanity was incredibly frustrated with Morrie, but she also knew she couldn't act angry about it. It was a frustrating situation. She could tell Morrie was looking at Mikael, and she made sure to sit on the right side for her to block her view of him. But she couldn't help thinking that if Morrie had told the nurse or headmaster what had happened, she wouldn't have to look at his stupid face. She didn't say it, because she knew it would result in a fight. "If he looks at you wrong I'm pelting him with potatoes." She muttered under her breath as she loaded her plate. "Eat something," she then commanded.

@Morrie Ayre

Friday wasn't sure she wanted to bother with her final year at Hogwarts, she knew it mattered to her family that she technically graduate but Friday wasn't sure she saw the point in it. She didn't have high aspirations for what she'd do after there was no deeply academic or academic adjacent job she wanted, so why bother really. She had time to decide. A little. She rolled her eyes at the top points, unbelieveable that Teddy cared just so much about points. But it wasn't like they'd even won the cup so all for nothing. She looked at the food as it appeared and then began to fill her plate.

Apolline was very very glad that her OWLs had passed without too much issue, she'd studied hard and managed to really pull it out the bag, of course Apolline had yet to fall an exam but it would've been the worst thing if she had failed it at right that moment. Right when it counted most. She applauded the students and their top points, knowing that for all her hard work that was unlikely to ever be her. She was happy for Ravenclaw and them managing to get their win, and largely as the food appeared she was happy for upcoming break, a chance to get some sleep, rest up and all that fun.

Magne was always surprised with how quickly the Hogwarts years went, but this one seemed like it had flown by. Perhaps he had just been a bit too all consumed by the classes he had and hadn't had a lot of time for much else, but still. It had flown by. He was exceedingly happy that they had won the house cup and it was nice to see the hall deocrated in their ravenclaw colours. He hoped he had contributed somewhat to the effort. magne applauded and cheered for the top's points earners. Pretty happy for all the achievements. he was looking forward to a break, but Hogwarts was just the best school ever.

Miroslav didn't know why he had to be at this feast, surely it really didn't need him to be there and yet. There he was. Miroslav boo'd loudly for each of the students who'd won top points thinking them utterly ridiculous. He waited until the food appeared, and grabbed something he could take to go and did appear to begin to move to leave.

Mania had told Gaia about the food fight she'd taken part in last year. Naturally the Slytherin's eyes wandered over o the Gryffindor table, to make sure her sister wasn't doing anything irrational. Once that was confirmed her eyes turned to the Ravenclaw table, half of what the Headmaster was saying went in from one ear and out the other. After he was done Gaia took her plate and cup and walked to the Ravenclaw's table, finding Rosé. She didn't have many friends, in fact she was pretty sure this particular claw was one of the only ones. Sitting down she gave the girl a smile, "We did it, huh? First year over and out."
@Rose Glass

Winnie had worked hard during the semester, it had needed her to, since she was doing all of the classes. but she felt like it had been worth it, since though she knew that slytherin hadn't won the house cup, she had gotten enough points to hopefully get the top points for slytherin. She listened to the names and preened happily at hers, not the top top spot but high enough. Good enough. Winnie smiled easily and let her gaze move to Vikram before she focused back on to her plate, she hoped it would be enough.

With another year over Daiki was feeling pretty good. he had been doing well at the school, so he thought and was keen to have a break. The exams had gone fine, he was doing well enough everywhere but he knew it was time to relax and spend some time doing other things. Daiki glanced to Kairi and smiled as the headmaster spoke. He applauded for the others but was less interested in it. It was cool, but he didn't much care for who got the most points. Eventually the food appeared and he passed some of it to Kairi.

Henri had been busy the last couple of weeks of the semester, though he'd spent a good chunk of the year interested in Astronomy he had found himself growing less interested in it, and really the thing which was now interesting him was quidditch. he had been reading up on interesting games, interesting moves, the ways teams played. He wasn't sure he care to fly but he was interested. He was vaguely listening to what was being said but had moved his plate out the way for the dusty book he was going to need to give back to the library on the history of early quidditch. He didn't even look up as the food appeared.

Tiernan couldn't say he'd done much with this first year of school, but there were and would more of them, would enable him to do more, be more. Tiernan nudged his twin as he heard someone else booing the top points earners, then doing it himself. He didn't care about point, it was pointless. "I'm so glad we're heading home," he said to his brother.

Amias wasn't sure if he'd say his first year at Hogwarts was a success or not. Certainly he hadn't completely crashed and burned but he also didn't think he'd really done all he could to achieve anything. Amias hadn't really made many friends, didn't really know people like he had hoped he might. Others seemed to all know each other and be friends, but he...he hadn't managed that. Any of that. Amias glanced towards the food as it appeared and tried to think of ways he might make friends in the following year.

Morrie’s eyes locked on Vanity less harshly than anyone else. Vanity had been the only one who gave a damn when everyone else was gossiping or ignoring the attack all together. Morrie knew that, even if Vanity was terrible at hiding her opinion about the decision to stay quiet. She couldn’t tell though, and she couldn't think of a plausible lie other than to go along with Mikael's one. She didn't care about him but felt the truth would be her downfall as much as his. Morrie didn’t laugh when Vanity said about pelting Mikael with potatoes either, distracted by how he might retaliate at that. When the order to eat followed, Morrie’s jaw clenched. “Stop going on at me. I’m not hungry,” she growled back defiantly. @Vanity Mettlestone

Eliza couldn't believe her final year at Hogwarts had been completed. She hadn't really thought about what she was going to do once she graduated, but maybe she'd have to really think about it now that she had pretty much finished Hogwarts. She was grateful for her time here. Eliza listened to the headmaster and clapped when appropriate. They hadn't won the house cup this year, but that didn't really bother the seventh year. The Gryffindor dug into her food, happy to eat before heading back home.

In all honesty, Marley couldn't believe how fast the year had gone by. Next year would literally be her last year here at Hogwarts, and it was slowly starting to hit her. She couldn't believe it. She knew she had to make her last year at Hogwarts count. The Hufflepuff listened to what the headmaster had said and cheered for her friend Teddy when he was mentioned as one of the top point earners. She was always happy with her friends. Marley quickly dug into the food when the food had finally appeared. Marley was excited to go home for sure and see her family.
