Y49 End of Year Feast

January was excited for the year to be over but she was a little sad too. It went by so quickly but she couldn't deny how desperately she wanted to go home. She missed her parents, and sister terribly, and while she hadn't cried this semester she still felt homesick all the time. She listened to the headmaster speak and was shocked by the amount of points some students got. Her grades had been ok but she was pretty sure she'd never be top point earner any time soon. When the food appeared she served herself as she heard her roommates talking. "Same here, well except for the ocean part." she said with a small laugh, answering Eloise's question and agreeing with Juniper. @Eloise Flynn @Juniper Veritas

It was the last time Bailey would ever sit at her house table before she left the school for good and went out into the big wide world. She wasn't nervous, she had a plan but most importantly she had parents who would have her back and that was all she could ask for. She sat at the table and listened to the announcement of the house cup winner (never Hufflepuff) and the top points earners for each house, with herself winning for Hufflepuff again despite comically trailing the other three, it was no wonder Hufflepuff never won the house cup when she was the best they had to offer.

Fiona's glare obviously wasn't enough as the younger girl started to bite into the chicken. The older Gryffindor sighed quietly to herself before turning back to the plate to grab another drumstick when she noticed that there were none left. Fiona glared a little more at the girl. She then scrunched up her face as she then offered to share the partly eaten chicken. "Uh... no I'm good" Fiona says with a shake of her head before trying to look around for something else to eat instead. @Rouge Glass

Eloise grins and nods with agreement. "Yeah, me too! Also, minus the ocean. I'm happy to spend some time with them," Eloise says with a small smile, giggling a little. While she loved her time at Hogwarts, she did, in fact, miss her family. She was glad that her brother was here, though. "Do you live by the ocean?" Eloise says with a smile. Eloise wondered what it was like to live by the ocean. The idea of it sounded beautiful if Eloise was being honest.

Thomas smiled politely at his roommate, returning the nod to him. "Hello, Naveen" Thomas says softly with a small grin. "Pretty much. I can't wait to go home, see how the garden back home is doing too" Thomas says with a small smile and nod, before grabbing some of the food around him, after everyone else had gotten their share. "How bout you? Packed up and any plans?"

Juniper began taking some food onto her plate as January joined in agreeing, minus the ocean. Eloise echoed the statement, minus the ocean again which made Juni smile a little more for whatever reason. She gave a nod as Eloise asked if she lived by the ocean. "Yes, we live right at a beach like you can see the ocean from the kitchen window and you don't have to walk too far to reach the sand." She explained, conjuring the picture into her mind as clear as she could. She missed home, but was very glad to spend some time there soon. "I feel like its been forever since I was home last, so its really good to see everyone."

Henri took a moment to realise someone had spoken to him. he gave a little sideways glance. "I'm just gonna finish this chapter," he said though he'd visibly just turned to this chapter. "Not like it'll run out," he said, motioning to it.
