Open Y45 Club Fair

Kyousuke nodded, thinking a showcase sounded good. He hoped they were doing one this year. He looked forward to showing off his new monologue he'd been working on. Kyousuke signed his name on the sheet, and took his leave, saying a brief 'thanks' to the two girls before doing so.

There were quite a few clubs that seemed interesting to Noah, but there were also a lot of people who were just as interested as him. Well, he had to start somewhere. He made a mental list of the clubs that stuck out to him the most, deciding to start with the wild patch club. It sounded real cool, so Noah wandered over to the stall, giving the girls a small shy smile. "Hey, so what do you guys do exactly? Like, it's gardening, or something, right? It sounds pretty awesome," he stopped himself before he could ramble. He just wanted to know as much about the clubs as possible so he could figure out which ones he'd want to be involved in.

He didn't have to wait very long for people to start coming over and taking an interest in the club. "Sure, just take a pen and write your name down," he offered to the first boy, though hesitated when someone a lot older came over. "Ain't you a bit old to start signing up for clubs now?" The guy looked to be either a fifth or sixth year. What had taken him so long to decide to sign up Jingyi would never know. But he didn't care, offering a waft of his hand, "Whatever, just sign up if you want to."

And then there were the usual questions about the club and what it actually did. "We're just a club where guys can hang out together. We play games and just chill. Sometimes we have events with the Sorority as well."

@Miro Morales-Albertson @Demetrius Wagner @Logan Lyle @Hero Obasi

While Rowan was still incredibly awkward around large groups of people, he knew that he wanted to at least try and put himself out there. Signing up for the Brotherhood would certainly do that, though he was still hesitant about it. Instead, he wandered towards the stall for the Wild Patch club. That was more down his alleyway. "Um, so this is the club all about gardening and plants, right?" He just wanted to make sure before he signed up for the wrong thing.

@Rosie Archer

Rosie glanced at @Noah Cosgrove and then also at @Rowan Roscoe as he approached the stall and gave a little smile. "yeah, we do, we have a patch of the garden, which our members use to plant things. At meetings we also do other things like paint beehives or things like that. Usually they'll all have an outdoor element to it," Rosie told him. "We've in the past grown vegetables which we shared with the arts club at Christmas," she said, taking the sign up and offering it out to both boys. "We'd love for you to join us, if that interests you?"

Helios was not convinced by what the boy said, but knew if he hated it, or if it was dangerous he could just walk away. So Helios signed up and then headed out of the club fair, having done all he wanted to.

Evie shrugged at the girl's next question. "You can join either way. The dueling tournament is just something that the SDA in particular runs." she told her, getting the hint that she was only really interested in the dueling aspect. But Evie wasn't one to pitch - she was just telling it like it was, and if people didn't want to join, that was on them. Another girl had been listening and was quick to ask to join. "Yeah, of course." Evie said to her, sliding the sign up sheet and pen on the table towards her. "Just sign your name here."

@Aroha Blenheim @Friday Weeks

Aroha decided to sign up anyway, putting her name down on the form. Whether it was all dueling, or all learning, it would probably be worth her time. She gave a brief wave to the older student in farewell and carried on with her day, looking to explore some more.
@Genevieve Fuentes

Demetrius shrugged at the boy's question. It was a fair enough jibe, if it didn't come across somewhat rude. "Guess I'm making up for lost time," Demetrius replied non-committedly. He signed his name on the sheet, hoping the Brotherhood would be worth it, and went on his way, feeling a mix of pride in himself and a shame that it had taken him this long just to sign up for a club.

After the older girl responded, Zora signed her name up for the Wild Patch club and said, "Ok bye!" She then moved on to whatever the Heta Omega was. She wondered if it was about eggs. She knew Omega was in eggs or something. "Hey what is this club?" she asked another older girl.

Friday nodded, and just signed her name up to it. Then she headed off, that was the only thing she'd come to the club fair to do, and wasn't keen to stick around after.

Hazel had two clubs she wanted to join. The first was the yearbook, as it seemed awesome to her to be a part of Hogwarts' legacy in a creative way. She had also started experimenting with photography lately. The second club was obviously the arts club, which just sounded so cool. SHe sought out the yearbook girl first, though she was also running another club it seemed. "Hi, can I sign up for the yearbook here?"

@Rosie Archer

Rosie glanced at the new girl who approached the Accio table. "Yeah, are you a photographer?" she asked her with a smile, trying to figure out which part of accio that she wanted to be a part of. That would let Rosie know what sign up to give her.
@Hazel Ashworth

Hazel nodded and smiled. "I am. I'm pretty good too." She told her, even though she hadn't practiced that much. Hazel was confident in her abilities.

@Rosie Archer

Rosie appreciated her confidence in her own ability. "Great," she took the form she needed and held it out to her. "Fill this out and add a couple of pictures as examples and we'll be in touch soon," Rosie said.
@Hazel Ashworth

Hazel nodded and took the form. "Thanks!" She said happily. She waved at the girl before heading to the CAC table. She beamed at the two girls there. "Hi! I'd like to sign up!"

@Sky Eriksen @Marnie Frogg

Elise glanced at the different creations as the older girl explained them all. She had never thought about using fabric to make something before and she had to admit even just looking at everything made the tiny wheels in her head start so spin. "That sounds fantastic." she said, her mind already wandering. But before she could get too distracted she made sure to grab a green pen and write down her name before heading outside to see if any more inspiration would strike. @Marnie Frogg

Violet knew if she wanted to make friends that she needed to join a club. It was going to be the best way for her to meet like-minded people, so she was excited for it. She made her way to the courtyard which had been set up for the event. There were snacks everywhere, including in the centre and at many stalls that she looked around at. She slowly walked her way up to a table that had many other girls around it and listened as one of the leaders began explaining what they did. The Ravenclaw couldn't help but chime in. "Okay, so what are you guys going to do this year then?" she asked, not wanting to waste her time if it was going to be something silly.

@Sky Eriksen @Marnie Frogg

Marnie grinned as more kids where signing up, confident they were going to have a great club year as two more girls approached. “Hi great! We have a bunch of pens or I think there might be a quill laying around here somewhere too if you prefer but if you use one of the pens you can pick whatever colour you want,” Marnie offered, wiggling the tin of pens enticingly as she slid over the sign-up sheet.

Oh, lots of stuff I bet we tend to hold project meetings so we can all work on something together well like together as a group but you can work on your solo stuff if you want within said group or buddy up if you want if that makes sense,” Marnie tried to explain, tripping up on her words a little before deciding to leave space for Sky to chime in in case she also had some cool seventh year plans before the end of the year.

Briony supposed one of the better things about being at a big school like Hogwarts surely meant there had to be people with matching interests like hers? She'd never really gotten along well with Emery or Vanity in that regard but joining scouts had let her find a few girls who she felt really got her. Maybe some of the school clubs would be like that too?

Wondering around the fair, Briony had briefly stopped at the Monthly booth, the writing aspect piquing her interest, but she quickly discarded it. She didn't really want to do that type of writing anyway, it felt too dry and structured anyway. Instead, she was lured closer to a booth covered in flowers, her fingers trailing lightly over the petals of one of the roses set out on the table before she spotted Lucy's name on one of the sign-up sheets, perking up immediately. "Do you guys just do like. Gardening stuff? Or do you do other things outside? Maybe even go into the forest?" She asked hopefully, recognizing one of her house prefects at the table.

@Kiara Thompson

Hazel grinned and grabbed a bright green pen from the tin. "Thanks!" She said, signing her name with a flourish and a few decorations around it. She put the pen back. "I can't wait for the first meeting."

@Marnie Frogg

Sky smiled as marnie greeted her "you can have a biscuit too" she said. there was something about making biscuits that always reminded her of afternoons at her farmors house cooking. in the winter when it was dark outside and everything smelled like warm cinnamon and winter spices or in the simmer when the days were infinitely long and shortbread was light and things were always served with berries and currents. she watched as her co-leader showed the girl some of her creations. marnie was very good at sticking to her unofficial motto for the club. "there are no mistakes in art". the other thing about having marnie there was that she seemed to take control and do all the speaking which encouraged, and hopefully didn't intimidate the first years. "welcome to the conglomerated arts club, have a biscuit" she said
She watched as the girls put their names on the paper and then realised who one of them was "thanks for signing up. you're molly's sister right, welcome to the conglomerated arts club" she said letting her accent slip slightly more towards her mum's irish accent than usual.
just as the table cleared another girl came up to them and said that she would like to sign up once again marnie got to her first. saying how to sign up. she watched as the girl wrote down her name as hazel and smiled "Welcome to the arts club. I'm Sky and this is Marnie Its great to have you join" she said smiling
the next girl arrived and asked what the plan was for the next year. truth be told she and marnie hadn't really discussed it in detail. they had a vague theme for the event but not anything specific. 'the club rooms are open all the time for you do do your own creating art, music, dance or the like. we usually have a large meeting once a semester and a few smaller casual drop-in sessions. the specifics of this year are still being developed but we will be letting all the members know when we have a date and theme" she said.

Renata smiled at the younger girl, she was feeling a little under pressure with all the signups but she was managing. "Hi! We're the girl's club," she explained. "There's not really any expectations or anything you need to do, it's just a space for you to meet girls from all the year levels and houses, do some fun activities and have a space to chill that's free of boys." She wasn't the best at selling it, but she hoped she was doing okay.

@Zora Jackson

Violet nodded as both of the older Hufflepuffs began explaining to her what they would be doing. "Okay, sounds good enough." she said with a shrug. She would be able to find an excuse for some arts and crafts in this club, and that was the best Violet could think of. She was sure the two older girls would be amazed by her creativity. She took the pen and began writing her name down before walking around to some other stalls. Some of them sounded boring, including some sort of dueling club where they were showing off all of their trophies. It couldn't get more dangerous if anyone tried. When she heard another older Hufflepuff speak about a girl's club, this piqued her interest, and she made her way over there. "So, a girl's club? Where you do girly things? Or what else would you do?" She immediately began asking questions, hoping the older girl would have a good enough answer.

@Marnie Frogg @Sky Eriksen @Renata Stepanova

Miranda wasn't sure which clubs to go for, a lot of them seemed really interesting and she wanted to have the opportunity to meet people. But she also knew that they wouldn't all be for her. She wasn't really a gardener, nor was she much of an artist. And she didn't really like the idea of duelling. She did pass by the Heta Omega table and quickly put her name down, having overheard something about hanging out with girls from all houses and year levels, and then headed over to the Hogwarts Monthly. She liked writing, she wasn't sure if she'd be that good yet but she hoped she could learn things. She grinned at the older girl at the table. "Hi!" She skimmed over the copy of the paper that was there, finding it really interesting. "Wow, putting this together seems like a really cool job! Can I please sign up?" she asked, politely.
