Elise lives first in her head and in the real world second. Expressing herself is the most important thing to her and she's willing to use any method or medium to make herself known. She always has art supplies on hand and is very passionate about honing her skills and dreams one day about being known for her creations. She loves people fiercely, especially her family, but doesn't always know what to do with her big emotions, good or bad. She's very observant but doesn't always know what to do with the things she sees. Being so in her head she can sometimes forget about how her actions can affect other people. Elise is also fiercely independent and loves to do things on her own, even if she probably needs help.

Elise was born into a very loving and supportive home. Her parents met through mutual friends in the art community and settled down fast. First came her older brother Ezra and she followed shortly after. Her father is a music producer and sound engineer and her mother was a writer for an arts magazine. She spent most of her younger years tagging along with her parents to one event or another, they always tried to keep their kids involved with their life. She was a very happy kid and adored her brother, following him around like a shadow. But things changed when her mother passed away suddenly. She was only five and struggled with the change and what it meant for someone to die.
After her mother's death Elise's large family stepped up to fill in the gaps as her father had to work more. Being passed around from family member to family member was hard on her and she had to rely on her brother for stability. So when Ezra left for school she was pretty heartbroken even though they kept in touch through letters and he told her endless stories when he would come home. As she's gotten older she's been granted a bit more freedom and she has taken full advantage, and is eagerly awaiting her turn to go to Hogwarts.
