Y43 Hufflepuff Practice S2

Zag finally managed to make his first save. It was about time and he offered the young alternate who tried to score a small encouraging smile before throwing the quaffle back out again.
 
Veronique was glad Zagreus stopped a quaffle and hoped she would get a chance to do the same.
 
Renata beamed at Finley. "Good effort!" she called, sweeping in to take the quaffle again after having taken a break and heading back to the other end.
 
Still no snitches in sight.
 
Renata headed towards Veronique, trying to throw a fairly straight shot. The younger keeper was able to stop it though, and Renata grinned at her, pleased to see the keepers were both getting into it now.
 
Rene was glad to see the other chasers getting involved, and especially with Renata for comminicating even after she took a solid hit from Chase. Continuing to keep his good mood, Rene knocked a bludger clear from the seekers, sending it into @Zagreus Kohler, just in case he was getting too relaxed now he and Veronique had blocked a few shots.

Veronique was prepared as Renata came towards her, catching the quaffle square on with both hands. She felt a little better and discreetly did a hair flip before throwing the ball back in.
 
Felix kept flying.
 
Rene decided to switch up who he was defending, giving Felix a more subtle wave so as not to break his concentration as he tried to match the seeker's movement.
 
Renata grabbed the quaffle once more, heading back towards Zagreus. Perhaps it was more tiring than just repeatedly shooting on the one keeper, but in a game they'd be flying up and down the field quickly, and it helped keep both keepers warmed up she thought.
 
Rene smiled seeing Renata on the move again, an idea coming as he kept his eyes peeled for bludgers. "I'll buy anyone a butterbeer if they can get the quaffle off Renata before she scores," he offered the chasers at large.
 
Renata heard that and giggled, maybe slightly deliberately starting to slow her pace but also weave around the ground a bit, giving the others a chance to steal.
 
Rene was curious to see if any chasers would want to (or maybe more specifically be able to) take him up on his offer but for now he needed to focus on trying to defend Felix.
 
Zagreus hated bludgers. Unfortunately, they were a part of the game and not much he could really do about it. But that didn't mean it didn't still really really suck when one ended up smacking right into you.
 
Felix spared Rene a brief nod as he joined him but he had more important things to focus on.
 
Chase glanced around to figure out which bludger was closest to him.
 
Veronique grinned at Rene's comment. Renata was a good chaser, and hopefully that would help them in the upcoming game.
 
Chase flew towards a bludger.
 
Zag rubbed his side, still feeling a little sore from the last bludger hit, but he remained alert.

Leonardo swiped the ball from Renata and continued towards the hoops.
 
Chase noticed Rene hit one of the keepers and decided to even the score by hitting a bludger towards @Veronique Chatelain.

Rene grinned when he saw Leo swoop in and manage to get the quaffle off Renata. "Guess I owe Leo a drink! Unless someone can get it back off him first," he offered over his shoulder, taking a swing at a passing bludger that came too close.
 
As soon as Leo was close to the hoops he tossed the ball and pleased to watch it sail in.
 
Felix still couldn’t find the snitch.
 
Chase flew after another bludger and meant to send it towards Felix but watched as it sailed for @Jordan Harris instead.
