Y43 Hufflepuff Practice S2

Veronique got into the air and tried to steady herself in front of the hoops, ready to block.
 
Felix kept looking.
 
Veronique kept her eye out for any chasers trying to sneak up on her.
 
Felix kept an eye out for stray bludgers as he flew around the pitch looking for the snitch.
 
Leonardo was following in behind Jordie as he went to the hoops.
 
Veronique prepared as she saw some of the chasers nearby.
 
Felix didn't see the snitch anywhere.
 
Veronique still waited for the chasers.
 
Penelope has definitely been here the whole time and has been looking for the snitch for sure.

Deciding that Jordie was decidedly not showing them how it was done, Renata sped up and flew to his side. "Sorry, Jordie, gotta practice stealing," she joked, grabbing the quaffle and heading towards Veronique.
 
Felix kept looking.
 
Rene grinned as Jordie stepped in to grab the quaffle, laughing when Renata stole it back a moment later, glad the chasers were showing some spirit today. They needed at least one goal in their next match to secure second at the very least so it was important they were working hard.
 
Renata looked to be heading to Veronique's right, but swerved at the last second and threw to the left. It seemed to work in her favour, as the quaffle went through the hoops. She turned to raise an eyebrow at Jordie, hoping to goad him into giving it his all in training. He seemed a little out of it, but Renata found that if she worked hard in training it helped her take her mind off anything that bothered her.
 
Seeing Renata make another goal reminded Rene he needed to be getting onto his own practice too. "Chase, I'm gonna try defending for a bit, show me what you got," he called to the other beater, moving to try and mark Penelope for a moment.
 
Still no snitches.
 
Chase nodded when Rene mentioned he'd be going to try defending for a minute, flying after a bludger so he could attempt to send it their way.
 
Zag watched as Renata scored against Veronique. He wanted to say something, but remembered the last time he tried to be encouraging so probably wisely decided to keep his mouth shut on the matter.
 
Veronique thought she was ready but fell for Renata’s scheme, missing the quaffle. She quickly dove to get it and threw it back in.
 
Chase managed to hit a bludger and tried to send it Penelope’s way but it went a little off course and headed straight for @Rene Tofilau. If he was trying to defend the seeker surely he could defend himself?
 
Renata hung back, hovering in place while she fixed up her hair and watching the other chasers.
 
Felix kept flying and dodging bludgers.
 
Veronique fixed her broom stance, hoping it would serve her better next time with more agility.
 
Trying to cover Penelope, Rene was impressed to see Chase get in a solid hit, unable to move fast enough to deflect it, Rene took the hit head on, giving an impressed wheeze in Chase's direction. Not his finest hour.

Felix still couldn't find the snitch.
 
Renata ended up grabbing the quaffle, heading back towards Zagreus and hoping she didn't look like she was hogging it too much.
