Y37 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S1

Édlie was nervous about starting the game and interested to see how well she would match up with the other chasers. As the took the air, she followed Gaby and smiled as she scored, grabbing the quaffle as it was thrown back into play. She made a loop and tried to score again, but it was caught by the keeper.

Aramis tried to pay attention this time when one of the chaser approached, trying to match her movements as Édelie approached. Turns out actually focusing helped and Aramis was pleased when he was able to knock the quaffle away from the hoop, flying down to scoop it back up and throw it out again to the chasers.

Gemma was a little disappointed with her aim and this time she was determined to do better. It took a while for her to spot another bludger but when she did she wasted no time going after it. She took aim for the other beater, since that was who she would be aiming for in an actual game. She swung her bat and made contact easily, she watched as it soared across the pitch until it hit Elise. This time Gemma had a hard time concealing her excitement, not that she wanted to hurt her team but it was hard to feel bad about playing this good. @Élise Moreau

With the chasers taking the quaffle, Aramis had a moment to watch the other players, grinning quietly as Gemma was out there wrecking havok on the rest of the team. He supposed, sticking his chin in his hand, that Mualla had asked her to after all.

Gemma was feeling confident as she searched for another bludger to hit but after a while of searching she frowned when none seemed to be around. The other beaters were already covering their seekers so she was left to hover there like an idiot with nothing to do.

Daithi flew beside the chaser who had the ball and sighed when they failed to score. As the ball was thrown back out he grabbed it and began looping around to the hoops.

--i think i'm right about possession....some one correct me if wrong.

Gabrielle had followed Édelie as she went around and tried to score. She turned around as another chaser, she wasn’t sure if she had remembered his name, caught the quaffle and moved to follow him.

Mualla saw the hits Gemma was landing and was happy to see that she had already been so successful early on. They could use that against Ilvermorny.

Élise mounted her broom and looked around. She decided to shadow the alt seeker and smiled. The alt beater was going great and now Élise also found a bludger coming her way. One she couldn't stop, the pain wasn't that bad and she decided to continue on.

(2a)

Gaby tried to stick close to the younger chaser, looking for an opening to possibly steal the quaffle from him so they could all keep each other on their toes. Spotting an opening she swooped in, managing to get the ball from him. Now in possession she continued forward a little bit, looking back to see if anyone was close so she could possibly try some passing.

Hugo looked around for the snitch, though he occasionally glanced at Aramis to see how he was doing. It was pretty nice that his friend was ont he team now as well. Gemma then hit someone too, and while he felt a bit bad for Ares, he was glad she was doing well. She then hit Elise as well, which was also impressive. Gemma seemed like a natural talent. Now if only he could prove himself too by finding the snitch.

(rule 2a)

Ares flew into the air once the captain spoke to them all, staying close to the other chasers as they attempted to stick together and score. He was happy to see that someone had scored, but when a bludger hit him on the side, it look a lot of strength for him to stay on his broom. He kept himself focused however, wanting to show the captain that he was more capable than what she thought he was. When he found the opportunity to intercept the quaffle, he did, taking it cleanly from the older girl.

Being hit by a bludger never felt right and so Mualla was keeping an eye out for Gemma as well as Élise. When Mualla found a bludger on her path, she stretched our her bat and gave the iron ball a good swing, sending it to @Gemma Thorne in the hope that she could deflect it and send it back to her again.

OOCOut of Character:
According to the Quidditch rules, if the quaffle is in the possession of someone who has not posted in four hours, you may post taking possession of the quaffle. Is has not yet been four hours since Gabrielle got in possession of the quaffle or has done anything with it, so the quaffle remains in Gabrielle's possession for now!

Gabrielle continued her way towards the hoops their keeper was guarding, keeping the quaffle close to her chest in an attempt to protect it.

Hugo winced as a bludger went in Gemma's direction, he hoped she was alright. He also hoped he wouldn't get hit, that looked pretty painful.

As Gaby moved on towards the hoops she decided to just go for it, lining up her shot but not being too surprised when it got blocked this time.

Aramis watched as Gaby was able to steal the quaffle, squaring up when she headed his way again. He was grateful the pitch was big enough to have a good run up so he could get ready, able to shoot in front of the hoop she'd aimed up and knock the quaffle away before it could get through. Smiling quietly to himself, pleased, Aramis tossed the quaffle back out into play.

Mualla found it rather difficult to keep track of everything that was happening on the pitch and wondered how the previous captains kept track of everything around them.

Sophia, unable to keep up with the others continued her search for the snitch. After her final year at school, Sophia couldn't wait to be a quidditch commentator again. She so was going to apply to all her favorite team in the league. One of them had to say yes to her loud mouth.

The game was moving quickly, and Édelie watched as Gaby tried to score again unsuccessfully. She caught the quaffle as it was thrown back in.

Stretching out his fingers, Aramis let his attention drift for a moment to check on what the rest of the team was doing, though he tried to keep a vague eye on the chasers now that Édelie had the quaffle again.

Gabrielle watched as the quaffle was thrown back into the game and Édelie caught it, getting in position to follow her along.

Mualla continued to follow Hugo whilst also keeping track of what the team was going. ''Good shot, Gabrielle,'' she called out encouragingly when she flew passed the chaser. ''Keep it going! You too, Aramis, you're doing great!''

Aramis gave Mualla a thumbs up, though he wasn't sure she could see it from where she was, before turning his attention back to Édelie.

Édelie saw Gaby nearby as she flew back to the hoops and thought about passing it but wanted to try and get in another shot. She threw it towards the left hoop but missed as it was caught by the Aramis.
