Y37 Beauxbatons Quidditch Practice S1

Gemma finally spotted a bludger and she was excited to have another shot. It felt like forever she was left with nothing to do. She quickly flew after it but she misjudged her aim and the bludger went wide and wasn't close to hitting anyone.

Stirring himself into action as Édelie got closer, Aramis let out a sigh of relief as he was able to bat her shot away again, swooping down to catch the quaffle again and throw it back out to the team.

Elise spotted a bludger, but when she gave it a wack the bludger decided it had its own course hitting no one in the process. At least she was getting some practise in.

Édelie frowned when she didn't manage to score and somehow caught the quaffle again as it was thrown back into play. She wanted to give the other players a chance to play and looked for someone to pass it to.

Gemma was starting to get frustrated. After such a strong start, she frowned as her luck seemed to have run out. She managed to hit a bludger but again her aim was off and she missed her target completely.

Édelie didn't have a clear path to toss to another chaser and took her shot to score again. Unfortunately, she failed to score yet again and felt down on herself. She had had 3 chances and missed all of her shots so far. Maybe she wasn't fit to be a chaser.

Gemma tried to hit the bludger again, but this time she didn't even make contact with the ball when she swung. She let a frustrated sigh before flying off to see if a different spot would treat her better.

Édelie kept to her broom and waited for another chaser to catch the quaffle once it was thrown back in.

Mualla, who really wanted to see what the rest was up to for a little bit and see how they were faring, left Hugo alone to fly herself next to Gemma. "Let's switch things up a little," she said to the other beater once she was flying alongside her. "You go and cover Hugo while I observe the team for a bit. Don't go easy on Sophia and Élise but don't hospitalise them either."
@Gemma Thorne

Gaby had followed Édelie, watched as she took another shot at the hoops. "Good try!" She smiled at the older girl before catching the quaffle as it was thrown back out, turning around to get a little distance between herself and the hoops first.

Gaby continued her way around the pitch, looking for anyone she could possible pass to.

Élise shadowed her seeker, but somehow the bludgers weren't coming near her. She didn't want to leave the seeker and thus she waited for one to come towards her.

When she didn't see a solid opportunity to pass the quaffle to any of the other chasers Gaby moved in on the hoops, hoping she could put a little pressure on Aramis she headed towards the right hoop before swerving at the last second and throwing the ball towards the middle one and watching happily as it sailed on through.

Mualla smiled when Gaby scored again, happy to see that some of the team were having successes so quickly already. They'd definitely need in during their match against Ilvermorny.

Throwing the quaffle back in to Édelie, Aramis watched as she seemed to consider passing for a bit before trying another shot. He was starting to get used to how she played, so he was getting better at knowing when to block her, giving her a smile as he tossed the quaffle back to Gaby. She was a bit trickier to predict still, and Aramis wasn't prepared when Gaby swerved at the last minute, her shot going through the middle hoop as he tried to guard the right one. "Hah, nice," He said, tossing the quaffle back into play.

Édelie watched as Gaby was successful in her scoring and caught the quaffle as it came back in, flying out a bit so she could get some distance.

Gaby shot Aramis a smile when her action proved successful, turning to follow Édelie as she moved away with the quaffle.

Edelie made her way out a bit and found a chance to pass the quaffle to Gaby, hoping she didn’t throw it too hard. @Gabrielle Perrault

Gaby managed to catch the quaffle just before it would’ve sailed right past her. She turned back into the direction of the hoops, looking to see if she could pass it to any of the other chasers or maybe even back to Édelie as she moved forward.

Mualla smiled at the bit of teamwork the chasers were showing and then focused on the others for a bit, trying to take in as much as possible.

Her bludger game had been a lot worse than in her try out. Not that it mattered much, the practise was necessary if they wanted to win the game against Ilvermorny.

When Gaby wasn’t sure whether she was at a good position to pass the quaffle back without it completely going past Édelie she headed forward instead, aiming it at the hoops. She gave the older girl a little shrug when she missed, glad that at least they had some teamwork going in.

It was a lot harder to track the quaffle when the chasers were passing it back and forth, so Aramis just tried to stay near the center of the hoops as Gaby and Édelie got closer. Thankfully it paid off, and Aramis was able to get enough time to knock Gaby's shot out of the way before throwing it back out to the chasers.

Edelie was glad to see her toss had been successful but was surprised Gaby’s score attempt didn’t go through. She caught the quaffle again as Aramis tossed it back and flew almost to the other side of the pitch to allow for a harder score attempt.

"Fine." Gemma said lightly despite her growing frustration and did as she was told. She followed Hugo around, keeping an eye out for any bludgers heading his way. She perked up when she saw one and sped up to meet it. She swung her bat and made contact with the bludger as she aimed it towards the other seeker. "Yes!" she exclaimed when it made contact. @Sophia Corelli
