Sky was excited. Today was the second meeting that she was running. When she had approached Eugene and then Rosemary with her idea last semester, she had almost not expected them to be as keen as they were, and she knew it was a big project, but that was why she had taken an easy option last semester. She headed down to the wild patch looking forward to the meeting. She was glad that the weather was perfect for being outside, sunny with a few small clouds, warm without being stifling. It was going to be good. Yes, this meeting was going to be more wild patch focussed. But later in the semester, they would have another one that was more arts club based, but before they could take the produce to the kitchen, they had to produce it.
She stopped in the garden in front of a freshly cleared bed beside it there were packets of seeds and small punnets of seedlings.
She waited while people arrived before stepping forward. "Hello, Everyone. Welcome to the combined wild patch and Conglomerated arts club meeting. If you don't know me, I am Sky, conductor of the CAC, this is Rose, leader of the wild patch, and this is Eugene and musical meistro." she said, gesturing to the other club leaders. "This semester, we are collaborating on a project that will take the rest of the semester. planting fruit and vegetables which we will, in a few weeks, use to make a meal that we can all share." she said. "thank you to Rose, who has got the plot ready for us and got the seeds and seedlings." he said stepping out of the limelight slightly. "so over to you to say a few words and talk us through what we have" she said

OOCOut of Character:
please wait for leaders to post before posting. This is a meeting for all WPC and CAC members to attend and plant. There will be threads later in the semester in the semester for preparation and eating of the food,

Rose did want to go out with a bang. It was her last year as a WPC leader and she wanted to be remembered as someone that cared about the Wild Patch. Niamh had a great collaboration idea and since there were already some vegetables and fruits growing from one of the other meetings it was going to be perfect. Rose had bought some seeds over the break from the local Gardening centre. Without magic they would never grow in time, but Rose knew Magic could do the trick. The later years that followed Herbology could easily charm the plants into growing faster.

''Hello everyone!'' Rose said happily, she had gotten used to speaking in front of groups more. She clutched her plant Edgar and continued on. ''I am Rose leader of the WPC club for the ones that come from the CAC'' Rose looked around it was pretty busy today. ''If you guys look at the table on the right there are various seeds of fruits and vegetables.'' Rose paused ''Some of them have long growing times, but with a little magic we can speed that up, so don't be hesitant to use those.'' That concluded most of the information. ''The WPC members can help the CAC members with planting advise and tips and for now, just work together and have fun!'' Rose said excitingly.

Eugene had thought it would be a good idea to do the combined event with the wild patch. It wasn't a club he knew that well, but it was cool and he thought it would be fun. He thought it was a good way to spend time and see how another club did things. He arrived nice and early at the same time as Sky and Rose. Eugene let the two girls introduce everything and then only when they'd both spoken. "Also music does help things grow, so musicians who don't want to plant things can play some music," he added at the end. He had brought his guitar and took a spot close to some of the plants and began playing a soft tune. He'd make his music fit what others did.

Valeria had been unsure as to why the arts club would do something outside, but with her knee deep in her OWLS, she welcomed any break. She kind of hoped that Charlie would come along, her boyfriend would make this more interesting, and well, at least she'd have someone to kiss and spend time with. She listened along as the leaders talked over what to do, and then just looked at the different people planting things. The ravenclaw wasn't someone who played instruments so that wasn't for her. Val just settled for planting some vegetables, though doing so with a certain level of disgust over having to get her hands dirty.

Rosie felt really pleased that this club event, for two of her clubs were combining. Rosie loved the wild patch more than she did love the arts club, but the two coming together was perfect. She of course felt she was more on the wild patch side, but she knew the leader of the arts club and several of the members. She was happy for both to be combined. The gryffindor had come to the wild patch eagerly. She had listened along to what the leaders said, but wasted not time in planting. She was looking out for any of her arts club friends who maybe would want a little help with things and didn't garden as well. Rosie would happily help out wherever she could.

Leonardo didn't know why he'd bothered to come. In part he knew it was to support Harmony, though he also knew she didn't need him to, and the other was because he didn't have much else to do. Leo's life hadn't really gotten less messy, everything was still chaotic, everything was still bad outside. He was just descending into anger. He was angry with so much of it. Figuring that a lot of all the issues he had with making friends, with being happy was because of this. He hated that his dad was mad at him for it too, but it wasn't too much of a surprise, Leo had long since suspected that his father hated him. This was just the proof of it. Leo watched the leaders speak, but as people moved he just lingered back, sitting down away from most others. He didn't want to get involved, knowing he'd probably ruin it or something.

Gregory hadn't been feeling very good lately. He just didn't think he fit in in this school, in this world any more. He had given it a try and he'd complete the year but he was pretty sure he'd ask his parents to let him come home and stay home. But until then Gregory was still trying his best to be a little involved, find any of that old passion from the beginning of the year, before Cassius had ruined it all. Gregory was listening to the leaders and then just found a spot apart from most others to work. He knew if he was too close to everyone else he would just ruin it for them. He could work alone and if he tripped or messed up, he'd only mess up his things.

Zagreus did rather have to wonder why the arts group and the wild patch kept teaming up for events. And he also had to wonder if everyone planting fruits and vegetables had anything to do with being creative. But he supposed he didn't care. He was a part of the WPC, not CAC. He politely listened to the leaders introduce everything before nodding his head, moving over to the seeds to try and find something nice to plant. He supposed this could be an easy and relaxing meeting, he really didn't mind spending the time digging around in the dirty planting.

Once more it seemed as though the art club was going to be doing something with the outdoor nerds. Mish wouldn't really say he was all too thrilled about that idea, folding his arms across his chest as he stood there and listened to what they were supposed to be doing. Boring. He didn't care about planting some stupid vegetables or whatever, he had joined the art club to practice his guitar and make music. So, he did perk up when he heard Eugene say they could just play music if they wanted to. Now, that was more like it. Good thing he had brought his guitar with him, slinging it around as he found a quiet spot to go and sit and play.

Ana Sofia was excited for this meeting, especially since it was hosted by two of the clubs she was a part of. She had to admit it felt strange to not be cooped up in the arts room for a meeting but at the same time it was a nice change of pace. She had spend plenty of time in the arts room during the years after all and not nearly enough at the wild patch. Ana listened as first Sky and then Rose spoke, glancing around at the students around her as they did. Once they had finished speaking she headed over to the table and picked out some specific seeds before finding a nice spot of dirt to plant them in.

Sky listened as both Rose and eugene spoke. She knew this wasn't the most artsy event that they ad hosted. but it was part of a bigger project. and the rest of it was more arts orientated. though she could hear some grumbling from members at the back at least until eugene spoke about playing music. she didn't like how segmented the arts club was. there was those who just wanted to play music or just wanted to paint and draw. then there were the others who didntreally fit in to the art or music group. they could of course use the rooms whenever they wanted to but she wanted everyone to feel included so was trying to find other forms of art to explore.
She saw the people disperse and there were two people working alone who she wanted to talk to. She looked at leo and smiled. she knew what he had been through recently and wanted to make sure he was okay. not blaming himself for anything and know that she was there for him as his friend. but she also didn't want to overcrowd him she smiled and nodded to him before she wont over to someone else, the first year who seemed to have been struggling adjusting to life at hogwarts. she started working in the ground next to him digging a small hole and planting some beetroot seeds. "Hello Gregory. how are you?" she asked

Gregory had thought that being off on his own would be easier and he would be left alone. But he wasn't alone for very long. He glanced at the leader and took a little step back, putting a little more distance between him and the leader. "I'm fine," he told her with a little shrug. Which probably wasn't that convincing. "This was a fun idea," he said without looking up.

Margo hadn't heard much about what the Wild Patch meeting was supposed to be about so she was surprised when she arrived and saw a lot more people than she was expecting. She was instantly on edge and considered pretending that she had forgotten all about the meeting. But she took a deep breath and tried to find a spot next to the Wild Patch members she could pick out. She listened politely as the club leaders explained what the plan was and she had to admit it did seem like a fun idea. The most exciting thing about growing things in her opinion was getting to eat the things you grew. Finally it was time to get to work and she grabbed some seeds and returned to more familiar faces. "It's a little crowded, don't you think?" she said quietly. Margo didn't like being negative but she couldn't help but feel a little frustrated about her space being invaded even if they were technically invited. @Zagreus Kohler

Caleb was curious about what they would be doing for the day's meeting when he noticed the art's club had also showed up. He wasn't sure how much those clubs overlapped but he was curious to see. He sat down and listened halfheartedly as the leaders started to talk about what the plan was. Not much listening was done if he was being honest. He was far too distracted by all the new faces. In the end he got the gist of what was going on and at least it was better than spending his time studying like they had done last year. The whole reason he had joined the club was to do something fun, not spend it reading. He wasn't sure how he felt about potentially having to go to another meeting but at least today would be fun. Caleb crossed his arms and watched some of the arts kids who were trying to get their hands dirty. "Be careful about how far your spacing those. You can't be putting them too close together." he warned and sounded authoritative even though he only half knew what he was talking about. Even after years in the club he didn't know all that much.

It was kind of convenient that two of the clubs Renata was a part of were meeting together. Perhaps a little lazy on her part, but convenient nonetheless. She certainly wasn't a green thumb by any means, but she liked the Wild Patch club, in the same way in that she wasn't musically or artistically talented but liked the CAC. The people were just nice. She waved and gave a thumbs up to Sky as she spoke, before casually taking some berry plants and not so subtly finding a spot near Eugene. Nonchalantly planting things. She'd felt bad about not spending time with him at Valentines, but she didn't want to be always bothering him, and he'd been talking to Elizabella anyway. "Hi," she said, softly so as not to interrupt his playing.

Sky watched people getting to work. Digging and planting. She watched as Gregory moved slightly away from her. She shifted back slightly. She hadn’t thought she was particularly close but didn’t want to invade his space. that is good to hear. she said digging a hole in the soil. but if you weren’t that would be okay too” she continued.
shebhad planted another couple of plants before Gregory spoke again saying that it was a fun idea. ”thank you. We will have another meeting in a couple of weeks to cook and eat the food. she said. She just hoped that they would all be ready in time. Though she had faith in roses green fingers. She patted the soil around the next plant before looking up her eyes caught sight or renata planting bear Eugene. She looked for a second wondering if her friend would look up she gave her an encouraging smile anyway glad that the knot that had been in her chest last year when she thought about renata had become untangled so she could be supportive for her friend without feeling jealous.

Gregory was trying his best to stay focused on the task, not wanting to mess it up, or cause Sky to mess it up either. He just wanted to do this with as few problems as possible. He just shrugged at her statement, he was fine, good, he didn't need to be okay with not being okay. Gregory finished planting one and moved on to the next. "Will we eat in the arts room?" he asked. but in asking and turning his attention away briefly, Gregory dropped the plant he'd been about to plant into the ground and the dirt went a little everywhere. "Oh no," he muttered trying to pick the plant up but making more of a mess of it.

Eugene had been playing for a bit, he gave a quick smile to Mischa as the other boy joined him in playing some music. Things were getting settled and Eugene kept glancing towards Renata. He tried to be subtle about it, and be more focused on his playing, but he was distracted. "Hey," he said after she greeted him, feeling almost awkward about it. "How've you been?" he asked with a casual tone. He was both curious and really he just wanted to talk to her, things were busy, he was busy and this would be a good chance to just chat. He had certainly missed dancing with her at the dance. Though, he never wanted her to feel like she had to dance with him.
@Renata Stepanova

As he stood there in front of the seeds, he was still a little uncertain about what he wanted to plant. And while he was sure it didn't really matter, it still felt like quite a big decision and he wanted to get that decision right. He didn't want to plant something that everyone else was going to plant as well, then that would mean there wouldn't be enough of a selection of produce by the end of it. And while he was busy mulling over these decisions, he heard a soft voice from next to him and quickly glanced over to see a somewhat familiar face. "It is," he agreed just as quietly as he rummaged through the different tools to find what he was looking for. "We seem to, um, have a lot of meetings with the arts club."
@Margo Fox

Renata vaguely felt Sky looking at her and felt embarrassed, like she was doing something wrong. She couldn't help the guilt that sat heavy in her stomach, even though it seemed like things would be okay. "I'm good," she replied, unconsciously moving closer to be able to talk without having to raise her voice over the crowd. Would a strawberry plant even grow in this weather? Renata wasn't sure - though magic would certainly make it possible. "How are you? Doing okay?" She was only half paying attention to digging in the ground, more focused on the person next to her. "The, um, fresh air is nice..." she added, embarrassed with herself for starting to talk about the weather.
@Eugene Nestor

Eugene gave a little smile, he glanced at what she was going and because he was leaning down towards her, with the vague noise from the playing. He just put his guitar down and shifted to be next to her. "Oh I've been busy, between OWLs and Accio there hasn't really been a moment," Eugene told her with a little laugh. "Yeah, it's nice to get outside," he replied glancing away for a second. "Gotta admit, I missed our dance at the Valentine's ball, I tried looking for you...," he hadn't been able to find her and allowed himself to be swallowed up in his work so he hadn't been able to look that hard for it.

Renata felt a pang of guilt at the same timr she felt her heart rate spiking, loud enough that she was sure not only Eugene but all of the members of the clubs could hear. She busied herself patting down the ground around the plant, glad she'd brought her Herbology gloves. "I bet, it's a lot to do," she agreed, nodding slowly. Renata fought to hide a blush, picking up a watering can and almost dropping it almost instantly. "I missed it too," she admitted, biting her lip. "I'm sorry, I thought that I might have been, um, taking too much of your time, and I didn't really have anything to wear, and you looked kind of busy..." she blathered, realizing she was probably drowning the poor strawberry plant and putting the watering can down. "Can I make it up to you next time?"

Eugene agreed lightly and watched her plant. He knew he could help out, but he didn't really know what ti do. Herbology had taught them a lot about how to plant but he didn't want to get in the way as she worked, he watched her almost drop a watering can but didn't say anything. He was a little reassured that she felt maybe the same as him. Eugene just shook his head lightly. "Maybe next time we should go together? Make a whole evening of it...rather than a dance," he suggested, his tone a little quiet. it would be under a year away but he liked spending the time with her at these dances and he would never mind how she dressed for it either.
@Renata Stepanova

Renata's heart skipped a beat. She was sure he was just asking her to be polite, at least, that's what she tried to tell herself, but she was thrilled that he'd asked. Even though it was a while away, it was something to look forward to. "Oh yes, I'd love to," she quickly responded, beaming, even as her response came out almost with a squeak. "Uh...only if it's okay, I don't want to get in the way of your yearbook work," she quickly added, before turning back to the bush and casting the growth spell. It shot up quite rapidly, perhaps influenced by her general emotions. "But I'm looking forward to it."
@Eugene Nestor

Margo was relieved when Zagreus seemed to agree with her. She hadn’t spoken to him much but she saw him around a lot which she thought counted for something. “I just…” she started to say but let her words trail off. She wanted to choose her next words carefully in case anyone could overhear. “I just hope they know what they're doing.” she finished the thought. They all put a lot of work in the garden. It would be a shame if it got messed up because some unknowing classmate overwatered or stepped on anything delicate. “I guess they’re kind of similar.” Margo shrugged and glanced over her shoulder to see he was looking at the tools. “Looking for something in particular?” @Zagreus Kohler
