I do agree with what Jesse said about maybe going after someone who isn't participating in discussion for this vote. If they're not participating, then they're not much help to the group anyway. It'll still be pretty much choosing a number though since there are a bunch of people who haven't said a thing

I figure at least some of the wolves are in that group - laying low is a smart move this early in the game.

I haven't played in a long time and I now remember why this game is so confusing...

I do agree that voting off randomly on the first day is more often than not helpful for the wolves more than the village since most of the time an innocent tends to be voted off. But I also think that not voting is very much not helpful either although it is nice to see that it brings out discussions. But then again, it could also be said that instead of laying low, the wolves could be actively participating within said discussion as to not be suspicious - in short my head is in circles and I still haven't made a vote. I will vote though before the day shuft ends. And Sally better not be doing a double bluff...

Just getting a quick read over this now, I see a lot of people saying about withholding votes which is great all, more power to the people, and while random guesses don't usually work in the villagers favour, wouldn't it be better to have a go at maybe getting a wolf than just letting the wolves pick us off night after night? I get that the first few nights of these games suck because it's completely blind guessing but it's it better than sitting round not wanting to point fingers in case it makes us look suspicious?

In saying that, I will now because this day will more than likely end while I'm asleep so I choose number 2 - I vote to lynch Sarah Keith.

I won't vote for Carrie because her being inactive that long means we can be sure she didn't participate in any night role, right?. The people who have been on and haven't participated in the day phase at all, now that's interesting. I'll be voting for one of those people, I think.

She might not have participated, but I figured that didn't mean she couldn't still be a wolf since the others could make decisions without her. If she is a villager, it also means that the wolves wouldn't have to worry about picking her off as much and could focus on attacking the more vocal/competitive people. Lets say we lynched Pat today, but she turned out to be the Guardian. Her ability could mean a win/lose for the town later on down the track if she had survived longer. Carrie on the other hand, might still have a special role, but it isn't much use if its not being used at night. While she could come back and also maybe protect someone who ends up benefiting the town, I'd still rather not lose someone who is active now.

However, I also did think it was interesting that those active people hadn't participated, but I did factor in work schedules, like with Kaitlyn (Though she hopped to her defense pretty quickly after it was mentioned ) and that some people only get a short amount of time to check HNZ before starting their days, so I wasn't going to put suspicion on them until closer to the end of the Day Phase. My vote may change as the Night draws closer

I asked my sister to randomly pick a name from the list above, and she picked her daughter's name (Charlotte). Therefore, I vote to lynch Charlotte Owens. The only reason I'm voting now is because I'm not sure if I'll be back on before this round ends.

If I am back in time, I'll happily change my vote if anyone has a person they're really suspicious of, because I honestly have no idea who to suspect.

As Jesse said, a lot of people check HNZ quickly before they start their day and I admit I am one of them. I was a villager last game and was lynched out first round because I didn't post and because I have not posted yet during this game people are voting for me and I think it is entirely unfair. If anything, the wolf would want to disguise themselves as a villager so people don't vote for them. Stop voting for people just because they haven't posted. Some people are just busy ok.

Anyway, with that being said, I will withhold my vote.
