Time to get plotting

[Freya Odegard]

Hi lovelies
To get my comeback started I am in desperate need of some rps, so I've got three characters to offer right now.

First up we have Freya Odegard. Freya is a character I love dearly, yet have terribly neglected during her time at Hogwarts and now she is about to graduate. In her time at the school she has grown from a sweet, insecure stickler to the rules to a confident, brave young woman (still a huge sweetheart as well). She has always thought about travelling after graduation, starting with travelling around the country since she has lived in New Zealand for almost seven years now, yet hasn’t seen a lot more than Hogwarts and her home town. I do not have any solid plan for her future though, so I’m very open towards anything and everything when it comes to plot ideas. She could certainly use some friends or someone to crush on, but anything is welcome really as I’m just excited to get back to rpíng with her.

Next up we have Freya’s younger brother, Leif Odegard.

Leif is currently a fourth year Hufflepuff and he is loving his time at Hogwarts. He’s a very friendly and charismatic kid whose adorable smile and Norwegian accent make him rather charming. Being homeschooled before going to Hogwarts he never had a lot of friends (except those he made at ice hockey practice), which is one of the things that makes Hogwarts so great for the kid it gives him the opportunity to make as many friends as he’d like (which is a lot). He’s a confident boy and will grow up to become a good leader, even though his stubborness could be something to hold him back from time to time. Aside from all the positive things Leif can also be impatient, which is something he isn’t very proud and can struggle with from time to time. If there’s one thing he despises it’s people bullying or talking down other, and when something like that would happen to someone he cares about he can become a bit overprotective. Leif used to play ice hockey back in Norway, but since he can’t do that anymore he’s very excited about learning all there is to learn about Quidditch.

For Leif I’m mostly looking for a lot of friends and people to interact with, and perhaps two or three really close friends. Any ideas are welcome really.

Third up is my upcoming firstie Nova Bennett.

Nova is a bit of a troubled kid as she grew up without a dad and with a mum that was away working most of the time to be able to support them. Because of this she had to be rather independent from a young age on and has always spend a lot of time on her own. She is dealing with some trust issues due to her father leaving and puts up a tough exterior because she wants to prevent herself from getting close too people too quickly, as she is scared of getting hurt. Once she allows herself to open up to someone and they get past the exterior they will find out she is a very sweet, loveable girl and can in fact be very fun to be around. For Nova I will need people who will try to get through her tough exterior, some who might give up because it takes some time and effort for her to trust someone, and some who might be patient enough to actually get through it at some point. She’s also a bit rebellious, so anyone up for causing trouble is welcome as well. I’m still developing her a bit and am just curious to see how she goes, so any friendly/unfriendly ideas are welcome. As far as crushes/relationships go she’s too young right now, but any ideas for later on would be great.

Hey! Welcome back!

You say you want Freya to travel around New Zealand. My muggle character, Tyra, owns an Inn. Maybe she could stop by and they could meet? Of course, Ty's little sister and husband are magic, but no need for that to be known right off the bat. I've also got Damien Gates. He goes to Hogwarts Scotland, but he tends to travel a lot. He's 17, a dramatic little fashionista, and super lovable. He needs friends.

Leif might get along with my second year Sapphire. She's mischievous and sarcastic, though for the most part this year she's been preoccupied with things changing in her life. I'd really like to get her a bit more into her goofy, troublemaking sweetheart thing again. She could use a few more friends.

And as for Nova, I have two ideas. I have an upcoming firstie named Jasper who's got inferiority issues with his two elder sisters. He's eager to prove himself. He's very competitive and stubborn. He could be either friends with her or possibly rivals- it would depend on how their first meeting went. It would probably be friendly rivals if anything. He's easy-going enough that he doesn't hate people easily. If you want someone she can relate to and who's patient enough to draw her out of her shell, my first year Avaria Lockwood might be a good fit. Ava is bright and bubbly and almost always covered in paint. She lost her mom not long ago and she struggles to prove she's good enough for her dad- she's sure if she isn't constantly reminding him of her presence that he'll forget her while she's away.

Hey Marijke!

Welcome back, it's good to have you back!

Seeing as we never really roleplayed, I think....thought I'd offer up some of my characters for much needed interactions and connections.

Freya - I have Stella Stilinski. She graduated as Hufflpuff not to long ago and is currently regretting she didn't take her studies at Hogwarts seriously. She making it up by perfecting her magic, otherwise she currently working her way up slowly to becoming a fashion designer well known in both worlds. I wouldn't mind them becoming friends. I also have her brother, Silas who performs different gigs all over New Zealand. He basically a local dj, but prefers strumming on his ukulele when he's not performing as dj. Silas graduated from Ilvermorny.

Leif - For Leif, I have Chante Ateara. She my miracle child born from two part - giants. She a miracle because she was born prematurely and may not grow as tall as both her parents. Chante friendly and likes to make friends. She actually gets a bit attached to some people too easily and can often fall for them by not meaning to. I can see her crushing on Leif, she would be infatuated by his talks of hockey. Chante aspire to be a pastry chef some day, or at least make sweets for a living after Hogwarts.

Nova - I have two first years, Lidiya Kozlova and Kendrick Warlock. I haven't played them out enough to tell you what they're like. I just know that Lidiya probably a bit obsessed with death on the count that her mother's profession as undertaker. Kendrick, probably into martial art and talks very little when he doesn't have to. That's as much as I can explain them. Hope it works!

Hey

I can offer Nixon, my third year hufflepuff as a friend for Leif. Since Nixon is a little younger, and not confident in himself, I can see him sort of looking up to Lief and idealizing him as the person he wished he could be.

Don't have many ideas outside of this, but I think it could be fun to just sort of throw them in a roleplay and see what happens with their dynamic. Let me know what you think!

Heya!

Tyra x Freya: I think this could be a fun idea! I could see her going somewhere without having made a plan as she's eager to go and just stumble upon the tavern and decide to go in and just sit down and start talking.

Damien x Freya: I'm not entirely sure if Freya would like him very much as she doesn't care a lot for people who are a bit extra or dramatic, but we could always throw them together some time and see how it goes.

Leif x Sapphire: As Leif would get along with a lot of different kinds of people and likes to extend his circle I think this could go fine. Perhaps an open topic somewhere could be fun?

Jasper x Nova: I'm not sure what she would think of him but as you say that would all depend on their first meeting, so I think that could be very intresting!

Avaria x Nova: I can totally see this happening in a way that Nova might find Avaria a bit annoying and not be very friendly to her, but gives up and lets her stick around when she notices that the other girl is a bit oblivious to it (if that's what she's like idk?? or perhaps she notices but is still persistent to become Nova's friend?). She would even start to enjoy her company and bubbliness eventually.

Stella x Freya: I could see them being friends, Freya would definetely be interested in Stella's fashion business.

Silas x Freya: As for Silas they could probably meet at one of his gigs, Freya would be trying all new kinds of things during her travels and I can totally see her awkwardly going to a club for the first time or something. I reckon that would have to be a bit later down the road though idk.

Chante x Leif: I think they'd get along great! They're also in the same house so they'd see each othera lot and could become good friends. I could see Leif being totally oblivious if she had a s crush on him, because he has a crush on one of his other friends himself so that could be interesting as well.

Lidiya & Kendrick x Nova: I think we could just rhwo them into some rps when the new year starts and see what happens?

I also have two people that are going to be sorted. Nova Bennett seems like a lovely girl and a real match for my unsorted Lauren Davenport. She comes from a difficult family too and she will indure some (that I am going to have to be approved first) Lauren is very rebels too and her personality will change during the time at school. I also have Alice Rosenberg and she is a very sweet girl and a little outspoken. She stands up for the weak and is strong against bullying. I don't know much more about her still but I want to develop her more. So this are already two option for Nova.

Narrowing it down for now sounds good, we can always do the ones with Freya a bit later on. Yesss I love those two, I'll try to get something started soon. As for Lauren x Nova I think that'll be interesting and they might get along. For Alice x Nova I think we'll just have to put them together sometime and see how it goes as that's always fun with firsties when you still have to get to know them yourself.
