Open The Stands

If it were up to Sully, every spot would be played on brooms. Magic just made things so much cooler. Sully cheered and boo'd as the chasers exchanged possession, glad at least that Gryffindor managed to score twice. It sucked that the bludgers seemed to have it in for their seeker though. "Oh come on, ref!" Sully yelled as a bludger hit their seeker again. He was pretty sure it wasn't against the rules or anything, but come on.
But, just as Sully was really getting into the game, the Slytherin seeker was fussing with her sleeve, holding up the snitch and Sully groaned. It had just been getting interesting.

Decked out in as much blue or bronze as he could find, Elliot shuffled into a good seat, smiling at Lily and scooting over a bit more to make room for her. He was glad she'd agreed to come support Lars with him again, and he'd hoped she'd brought the sign she'd made for him from their last game. He'd dug out his Ravenclaw pennant from last year for the game, pleased to see his flashing paint charm seemed to be holding up well.

As the game started, Elliot was surprised to see Lars kicking into air, thrilled that the Ravenclaw captain apparently saw fit to give Lars another chance to play and Elliot cheered loudly as Lars took his place at the hoops. It also looked like Lars' sister was getting a chance to play as well, and Elliot hoped Lars time practicing defending against her over the holidays would give Ravenclaw's defense an edge. Gryffindor wasn't wasting any time though, grabbing the quaffle as soon as the game started and one of their beaters already nailing the Ravenclaw seeker. Elliot gripped his pennant tightly as the Gryffindor chasers approached the goal hoops.

Sully hoped the Gryffindor team would have a better go of things this time round, keen for a good game. Finding a good spot right near the front of the stands, Sully had fashioned a little cone out of some spare parchment, ready to yell his disapproval or support at the team as needed. He cheered with the players kicked off, grinning as Gryffindor immediately took position and shot off towards the hoops. Now that was more like it. One of the younger kids playing beater also immediately managed to knock a bludger straight at the Ravenclaw seeker too, and Sully gave an enthusiastic first pump. "Way to go, little dude!" Sully called out. This was more like it.

Emma had gone to the stands dressed up in Gryffindor colors again, though she had brought a blue flag with Lars' name on it too. Of course she would mainly support her own house and her sister who played for that team, but it would be unfair not to root for Lars at least a little bit too. Emma was delighted to see they would both get to play, leaning forward in her seat to follow everything as closely as she could. Fleur was flying after a boy who had the quaffle and they would soon try to score in the goals Lars was protecting! But before anything like that could happen, the match was over. Emma deflated, disappointed. She was happy the Gryffindor seeker had gotten the snitch, but couldn't she have waited a little bit longer at least? It would have been nice to see Fleur and Lars play. Disappointed, Emma left the stands. She would still congratulate her siblings on playing well, even if it had only been for a little while.

With exams closing in on them, the Gryffindor didn't think that he would find himself at the pitch standing amongst Hufflepuff to support his friend, Wendy. She hadn't asked him if he wanted to watch the game, instead, he came down to the field on his own accord to join the badgers into cheering the team to victory. So, with the word 'Bell' written on his forehead in big black letters, Tomas chanted alongside the others in the stand. It'd be nice if she got to fly again today, he thought she deserved another go since she had barely flown the last time she had gotten to play. Hopefully April would see it that way, too.

Star was very nervous indeed for this Quidditch match. It was the last one of the year, but then it was also perhaps the most important. Naturally he wanted to support Hufflepuff, he knew he should, but then his cousin was one of the Captains for Slytherin, so he could hardly be seen being unsupportive either. He took a seat by himself, clasping his hands in his lap and looking around to see who else was here, when his eyes landed on someone with writing on his head. "I don't think the players will be able to read that from here. Why didn't you bring an actual bell?" he asked the older student. Besides, then they might be able to hear it too.

It felt strange being surrounded by so many Hufflepuff students, though he knew that it wouldn't matter which team he would normally support during this match. He turned his head towards the boy that was talking to him and shrugged. ''It's the thought behind it that counts, doesn't it? I can guarantee you that Wendy will love it once she sees it.'' Or at least Tomas hoped that she would like it. It'd be embarrassing if she hated it.

Wendall looked up at the boy, “Is Wendy a girl?” He asked. He’d only ever known himself to be called Wendy at school, and he was teased for it sometimes because it was usually a girls name. “Maybe she will like it if she sees it,” he agreed, the emphasis on if because it really was a long shot. “Are you in Hufflepuff?” He questioned.

Tomas nodded and said, ''Yeah, she's one of the beaters on your team.'' He was a little surprised that the boy didn't know that there was a Wendy on their team but couldn't hold it against him for knowing every name of every player on every team. ''Let's hope she will,'' he said with a grin. If all would go well today then perhaps she'd be more inclined to spend the evening with him at the lake. ''I'm in Gryffindor,'' he answered.

Wendy was surprised when the boy referred to it as "his team" although the large fluffy grey and yellow scarf wrapped around his neck was probably a good enough give away to which house he was in. "I don't really like Quidditch." he stated, remembering when he'd tried flying for the first time and managed to break his arm. "That, or it doesn't like me."

''How come?'' the Gryffindor asked. Quidditch definitely wasn't for everyone but that did not stop him from being wanted to know why the boy didn't like Quidditch. ''If it's a broomstick problem, you've got nothing to be afraid of. If it's a bludger problem then... well... yeah, those are nasty.''

Decked out in full Slytherin colors, Alice was here to support the Hogwarts team. She was mostly here to support Blake in particular, who was now her boyfriend after he asked her out. She had been slightly dazzled by him, despite him being a year younger, and was very happy he had picked her to be his girlfriend. She had painted green and silver lines on her face, and was waving a Slytherin flag. She had also borrowed Blake's scarf, and had it wrapped around her neck both to support his team and to stay warm. Alice was delighted when she saw Blake got to play, and cheered for him loudly.

April wasn't here to cheer for Slytherin. She wasn't. It just seemed like a shame to miss out on the final Hogwarts match she could ever see at Hogwarts, though she was bitter about missing out on playing. She was a little glad to see Leda wasn't playing, though she did feel bad for that feeling. She quietly watched the game, ignoring the cheering people around her.

Elliot was a little sad still about Hufflepuff losing their last match, but he still wanted to catch the final game of the year, even with that and his other mixed feelings about the Slytherin team. Or at least certain members of the team. At the very least he was hoping he could get some time to watch Leda Layton play, soaking up as much seeker experience as he could for try-outs next year. Elliot's stomach dropped however when he saw Blake was going to be playing today, instinctually sinking down in his seat as the match began. Was it bad that he almost wanted to cheer for Beauxbatons now that he knew Blake was playing..
At least the game was off to an interesting start, with both teams trading possession and bludgers already flying.

Nicole was excited that Slytherin were the school champions, and now even getting to play against another school. Grabbing a spot in the stands, Nicole was decked out in all her green clothes, including some hair ribbons after borrowing the idea from Iris. The game was underway quickly and Nicole cheered as Slytherin managed to block Beauxbaton's chaser and get possession. It was hard watching their chaser get hit, and Nicole even winced when a Beauxbatons team member was bludgered as well, wish Quidditch wasn't so violent. It was a shame when their poor chaser couldn't score, and Nicole watched the chasers closely, hoping Slytherin could steal back possession.
