The Stands

Matthew smiled at her statement about potions, though he wasn't quite sure what to say to it. "I see, I thought I recognized him." He told her when she mentioned Flavio. "Did you have a good time with him?" Matthew hadn't stayed much longer, as being by himself at the drinks table felt somewhat pathetic. Dances kept making him think about Leah, and how she would probably not dance with him even if she were there. He nodded when she asked if he was rooting for Slytherin. "Yeah, my little sister is in Slytherin so it feels disloyal not to." He told her with a smile. "She's just a first year." He added to clarify. He'd let Odette's name slip once before, and he knew better than to let anyone else know about it. At least until his sisters knew about each other. It wouldn't be fair to them if they learned from gossip or someone else. "I guess we'll see who's backing the better house." He said with a smile.

The blonde was going to see the game and she would meet up with Fleur. Evelyn rooted for Slytherin today since most of her friends were in that house. Gryffindor didn't played today and they had already won every game so far so she was curious how the other houses would do. When she made her way to the stands she searched for het BFF and spotted Fleur and took a seat next to her. '' Hi Fleur! Did I missed out a lot?'' the blonde asked friendly to Fleur. She looked at the game and saw Rory flying, she liked the boy and hoped he would do good. '' GO SLYTHERIN!!'' the blonde cheered and hoped they would win the game. It was better fro Gryffindor too, since Ravenclaw had the most house points at the moment.

Charlotte was going to see the game today. She knew Odette played because she treatend her with being a beater. The blonde wasn't afraid of her and she hoped that Odette would fail much today. It was stupid that they were in the same house, because Charlotte was cheering for Slytherin ofcourse. But she had a lot of people in Ravenclaw that she hanged out with. The blonde didn't saw Matthew in a long time and had to ask him about what Odette had said to her. It really hurted her and she had cried the whole night, not in her bed but she skipped to the girls toilets. Charlotte didn't want anyone seeing her like that, they would know she had a weakness. And nobody ever acted that way like Odette did to her, it was Charlotte who was the meanest girl in town but know she had a stupid crazy half sister as Odette said. Charlotte wasn't sure if she should believe it, but she had to ask Matthew.

When the blonde entered the stands she spotted Matthew and walked over towards him. She noticed another girl that she didn't knew but seemed older than her. Charlotte ignored her and went for her brother. '' Hey Matthew..'' she said with her normal voice. She took a seat next to him and looked at the game for a moment. She saw Odette flying and frowned for a second. '' That girl Odette there, do you know her?'' Charlotte didn't bother of asking how her brother was she was still a bit mad and now this came along and that was priority. Charlotte was really good at reading people's faces and she knew her brother well so what he would answer would be her answer.

Before his friend could really reply to his questions, Matthew heard a very familiar voice on his other side. He turned his head in surprise when he realized it was his little sister Charlotte. He grinned, happy to see her. He knew he probably wasn't completely forgiven yet for their argument before the break, but the fact that she was seeking him out had to be a good sign. "Hey Lot, I was hoping to run into you." He said happily, he had taken his Christmas present to her in his pocket for that reason. "This is my friend November." But Charlotte didn't seem to even notice the Hufflepuff, she was focused on the game. Then she asked the one question that made Matthew's heart sink. She asked about Odette. Did that mean she knew? That she had figured it out? It couldn't really mean anything else, could it? He stared at her for a moment, his mouth open slightly as if it was waiting for the words his brain just wouldn't supply. After a few seconds, he averted his gaze. "Why do you ask?" He asked her, tense. He knew it wasn't an answer. And even worse, he knew she would look right through it. But what else could he do? He wouldn't lie directly, but neither did this seem like the time and place. Why hadn't he told her earlier? His eye was once again caught by his other sister on the field. It was so odd, Charlotte and Odette could hardly coexist in his brain, even though he cared about them both. Maybe deep down he had known all along that Charlotte would never get along with her older sister. Maybe things were about to come crashing down.

November frowned when Matthew said his sister was in first year. She glanced out over the pitch and found the beater with his last name. She was pretty sure the girl was older than a first year but she didn't know for certain so she opted not to say anything. Which happened to be best as his younger sister happened to show up with them. November smiled and gave a wave towards the young girl not sure really how to interact with the girl who was a few years older than her cousins. She wasn't really certain what to say as the girl seemed to have a similar thought to November and November was smart enough not to get involved in family drama she had enough of her own so she just sat back and watched Flavio flying around the pitch. She hadn't even realized she was staring at him of course.

Fleur smiled as Flavio missed his first throw. She never bothered to talk to the boy and while his style was nice and his face handsome she never really understood why so many girls seemed to be into him. Her opinion, which she hardly bothered to give to the girls in her year, was that a boy like Rory or Riley were much better catches, for various reasons. Riley, a gryffindor, was sweet and funny. He was kind and liked to talk one on one and wasn't much of a player. Rory, on the other hand came from a wealthy established pureblood family. Even if he wasn't the kindest boy out there to some, he'd make a decent husband to any gal who didn't want to struggle in life; if only he too wasn't so interested in Flavio, Fleur thought with a frown on her face. Her gaze on the two was broken when she heard her name being called. A smile graced her face as she saw Evelyn making her way to her. "Evelyn! Not much, a lot of flying back and forth. I wish the beaters would hit someone and add to the drama this game is so lacking in any," she said turning back to the game waving a little banner for slytherin she had brought with her to the stands. She glanced and noticed where Evelyn's eyes were at, Rory. Nudging her friend with a smirk she said, "Where is Noah today?" Knowing her friend was completely smitten with the Slytherin boy and didn't really have interest in Rory, other than being friends.

November moved up to the stands to watch the Hufflepuff vs. Slytherin match. She wasn't sure how the game was going to go but she hoped Hufflepuff would be victorious. She watched as the players began the game and wondered how the positions were suitable for certain people. As in, what strengths were needed for each position. She took out her notebook and wrote down the question to remind herself to ask Noemie or Flavio later as they both played Quidditch and would probably know. She hoped later in the school years one of the them could become the Captain for Ravenclaw as she thought they were both great players, of course November didn't really know the sport too well. It made her wonder where they would all be in terms of friendships in the next few years. Once this semester finished she would only have three full years left, she'd be half way done with school. Thinking on it she was sure she was half way done. She smiled and cheered as Ares Jeffreys made a score in one of the hoops with the other people in the Stands around her.

Flavio enjoyed both watching and playing quidditch, but not the decision he needed to make to which team he wanted to support when he was watching from the stands. A Slytherin versus Hufflepuff match was one of the more difficult games to choose a side to as his closest friends were in Hufflepuff and another one of his friends was a chaser for the Slytherin team. He had juggled a list of pros and cons to supporting each team but eventually gave up, choosing to arrive in regular clothes and neither of the team's colours so he could be seen as neutral and simply enjoy the game. He arrived to the stands a few minutes late, soon spotting November sitting nearby. He walked over to sit next to her, trying not to draw too much attention to himself instead of the game. The Hufflepuff captain successfully scored and Flavio clapped. "Do you think Hufflepuff will win?" He asked his friend, trying to make conversation despite the stands being crowded by people cheering.

A lot happened in a very quick moment for the Hufflepuff team. November wasn't too sure what was going on. But she enjoyed watching the same and glad Flavio was by her side and for once she couldn't see Amber anywhere. It was a friend moment as she tried to understand the game Flavio loved. She wished she could have been better at sports and they could share this together on a better level of understanding but November was fine with the way things were. She'd always be his cheerleader in the stands as long as they were friends. Even if her crush ended and she liked another guy, Flavio was always going to be one of her closest friends as he was one of the first magical friends she made. She hadn't answered him right away and as the Slytherin seeker caught the snitch she frowned but still clapped a little. "I guess not," she said as everyone had been on the edge watching the seeker chase the snitch. It seemed like a rather short game. But it had been fun.

Fleur had taken her usual seat in the stands well before the game began. It was an exciting day as Slytherin would take on Hufflepuff. Last year it had seemed as though nothing could stop Hufflepuff, but the teen was glad the annoying house was being put in it's place this year. Of course she hoped Slytherin would come out on top and that Rory would make a few attempts today at getting the quaffle through the hoops. She hoped he would manage to do well so she could congratulate him later even if the team lost. The game wore on and Slytherin continued to stay up and in the lead. As long as they continued to score or get the snitch her house would be victorious. And they were! Fleur erupted with the rest of the Slytherin fans in the stands as her seeker caught the snitch! She was glad Slytherin won and hoped to find Rory after the match as she had the previous game when she met up with Evelyn and Espen and him.

Tess was excited to watch the game between Beauxbatons and Gryffindor, even if she wished that it would be Hufflepuff playing again this year. She was dressed in red with a fuzzy hat on over her curly hair and a flag that said 'Go Gryffindor' and changed to 'Beat 'em Lizzie' thanks to a charm that an older student had performed on it for her. She didn't care much about who was joining her so far as she watched the start of the game and cheered loudly at seeing Lizzie succeed already.
