The Stands

Silas had forgotten the mere blip of being an alternate keeper last year on the Hufflepuff team until recently, when he realized he never made it back to the tryouts. Not particularly caring, he figured he'd still make an effort to attend some of the games to show off the good old school spirit. He had painted a large banner that he would wear so he looked like a terrifying badger. As he found himself in the stands, he wrapped it around himself, feeling proud to have made such a unique piece of memorabilia.

Salem was always torn when Hufflepuff played Slytherin; she wanted to cheer for Indi, obviously, but then she wanted Jordie to do well too. And now she was more than a little invested in Natalia having a good game too. She'd thrown on a green shirt for the day in the end, hoping Jordie would understand that if she owned yellow pants she'd be wearing those too before she hit the stands, pleased to see Elara sitting with Isaiah already and joining them as the game kicked off. "I feel like everyone's expecting Slytherin to win, but you never know," Salem said as she joined them, aware that they'd end up playing whoever won after their excellent victory in the last game. "Though Celia Vuong seems a little intense," she added, watching as the bludgers started flying and Hufflepuff took possession. @Elara Chatelain @Isaiah Thompson

Leah knew she was slightly out of place at the game since her house wasn't playing, or at least she thought she would be until she saw the Gryffindor captain and seeker already there. She was here to support Chase and she wiggled her way up to the barricade and cheered extra loud as he took to the pitch. She hadn't had a chance to see him play yet and was eager to see him in action. Then give him a full run down of her thoughts later whether he wanted them or not. She didn't have any Hufflepuff garb but she hoped being neutral would be good enough. She let out another exhausting cheer as the game started and Hufflepuff started off with the quaffle.

Marnie had decided to keep things simple for today's game when it game to dressing up. At least, simple for her. She'd used most of the remains of her colour changing hairspray to turn her hair gleaming yellow again, but had gone for a simple half black, half yellow faint paint that was still feeling a little sticky as she found a spot in the stands. She hoped the wind would help it dry faster, already having smudged some onto her fingers on the walk from the castle, but the thought quickly left her mind as the players took to the field. "WOO GO PENNY HI PENNY!!!" She called, jumping and waving in the hopes her friend could hear her. "OH HI VERONIQUE TOO!!" She added, settling down until the game got underway and Renata managed to get the quaffle, Marnie letting out a responding whoop as she shot towards Slytherin's hoops.

Aine didn't wear a lot of yellow outside of her school uniform, but she wanted to support Hufflepuff so she put her school scarf over a plain black shirt and jeans. She always felt a bit queasy when she looked up at the teams flying around - but she was glad she wasn't on a broom but rather on the sturdy stands. Her notebook was in hand, pen twiddled between her fingers. She could've been taking some notes - not that she was actually writing the Quidditch article this semester, but just in-case. But the game promised to be exciting, hopefully. Celia hadn't charmed the snitch as far as she knew so she believed it would be pretty fair. She was glad to see Hufflepuff got possession first. "Let's go, Zagreus! You've got this!" she called out to their keeper and her classmate. He wasn't defending immediately, but she wanted to support her friend anyway.

Sky always enjoyed watching hufflepuff play quidditch. Especially as two of her best friends were on the team. Rosa th she was decked out in yellow with a hufflepuff banner that was too big for her to hold on her own. hey can someone give me a hand with this she said pretty sure someone would be willing to take an end.
soon the match was on and renata swooped in and got the quaffle. yay. Go Renata she cheered come on Leo. Go Felix she called. She hoped it would be a good game.

Aine looked over at the older Hufflepuff - Sky, she thought her name was? She ran the arts club, but that wasn't really Aine's thing so she hadn't had any interaction with her - and looked at the banner. "Oh, uh, okay," she muttered, picking up an end of it and holding it a little awkwardly. "Yesss, let's go badgers!" She was glad to see Hufflepuff scored quickly - part of her wanted them to win out of spite to Slytherin more than being her actual house, though she tried to push that side down and focus on the supporting her team thing.

Marnie was glad when she heard more cheering coming from their section, spotting Sky and now Aine holding up a Hufflepuff banner behind her and giving them an excited little wiggle before turning her attention back to the game when she heard a noise of excitement as Renata managed to get a goal. She booed loudly when Slytherin scored in return though, and even more when they hit Renata and poor Felix. It was a bit like a pantomime, but maybe if she cheered or booed loud enough they could scare off the bludgers or the scary Slytherin beaters. "GO HUFFLEPUFF, YOU'RE SCARIER THAN THE BLUDGERS, PROMISE!" She yelled, cupping her hands around her mouth for more volume.

Eugene had absolutely no skin in this game. It was just early in the semester and he was looking for things to do. Eugene had decided to come along to the game and just see how it would go. He had sat down in the stands and was just watching as the teams were getting ready on the pitch. He was sure that if this game was long enough it would be interesting.

Though Valeria had decided to leave the quidditch team, she still hoped for the best with them. They were a deserving team. She arrived at the quidditch pitch and sat down in amongst the other Ravenclaw supporters. She was very eager to see how they would do. "Go Ravenclaw!" she cheered loudly.

Brevity had gotten some popcorn from the quidditch match. From what she'd heard and seen, Slytherin was brutal, and she wanted to just see it. She sat down in amongst the rest of the slytherin's and began eating the popcorn. She didn't really care about how well the team did, she was here for the fun of it and she hoped that it would be fun.

Leonardo didn't have a lot to do when the semester was just starting. He knew he should focus on his revision, that he should be trying to improve his divination skills ahead of the class and the OWL exam. He wasn't sure who he supported in the game, he had no friends in either team, but that didn't matter. Leo was content to just watch the game. Slytherin were always decent to watch when you weren't on the pitch being hit.

Fraser loved watching quidditch. He arrived at the pitch with plenty of time. He didn't want to miss a moment of it. He wasn't really supporting either team, but he was sure it would be a good game. Slytherin were a fun team, they were good, and apparently they had had more success in the past but it didn't stop them being a great team. He couldn't wait to see what the game would bring.

Aurora had dragged her sister to the quidditch pitch, knowing that this would be a game to watch, to support their brother, but also just a good game. "Oh sh1t, we're late!" Aurora said as she sat down in the ravenclaw section with her 'go bran' sign just as a cheer went up in the ravenclaw section because Branson had scored. She cheered loudly with the rest of the ravenclaws.

Rosie didn't like quidditch that much, she knew she had to support her brother, and had to support her twin when they respectively played, but it didn't mean she liked it. It was just so violent, and she was not keen on that. Rosie followed her sister, decked out in ravenclaw things, to cheer on her brother. She sat down, and looked over the pitch, things were moving fast, she just managed to catch the goal her brother got. Rosie did cheer for him, happy he had scored, even if she hated this sport.

Emmanuel liked watching quidditch, and he knew it was always a good way to spend an afternoon, so he'd come out to the quidditch pitch for the game. He was in amongst the rest of the ravenclaw supporters. He had friends in Slytherin, but as a ravenclaw, he felt it right to support his own house, even if he didn't really believe in houses.

While Quidditch games at Hogwarts never captured the spirit of Saturday morning footy and netball (there were no sausage sizzles, for one), Aine still found herself decked out with a Hufflepuff scarf as she took a seat in the stands. She knew of most of the players, but didn't know many well except maybe Zagreus and Jordie. She felt a bit bad cheering against Aurora, but it was Hufflepuff, she had an obligation. She hoped they'd pull out a win today.
