The Stands

Marnie let out a dramatic groan as Felix was taken out of the game. She liked Felix, he was funny and nice when she saw him around the common room and she didn't want him out of the game. Her opinion on that changed quickly though once Marnie realized what that meant for the team and saw Penelope kicking into the air. "OHMYGOD! That's my FRIEND!" Marnie screamed, jumping to her feet and pointing excitedly to anyone in the vacinity. "GO PEN! GET THE SNITCH! YOU'RE GONNA DO AMAZING YOU'RE SO FAST ON YOUR BROOM WOOO! GO HUFFLEPUFF GO PENELOPE BEST FRIEND BEST SEEKER EVER YES!!!"

Harper nodded, following Salem's gaze across the pitch even though she knew it was unlikely she'd see the snitch. "I'm surprised no one's caught it yet." The last few games had been over after just a few minutes. It was nice being able to actually watch a match unfold. Harper chuckled as Salem gestured at her cheek. "Thanks. It was supposed to be a lion," she admitted. As the game continued, Harper glanced a little nervously at the scoreboard. Hufflepuff was racking up a lot of points, and there was a good chance they would still win even if they were eventually forced to forfeit. "I didn't realize Isaiah could be so brutal," she joked as he sent another bludger towards the new seeker. Harper watched as the girl, who couldn't have been older than 12, was escorted off the field. "Hope she's okay..." The other alternate didn't look that much older, and she wondered if he would be subbed in next.

@Salem Lee

There was still a part of Leah that wished she could be a quidditch player. But then she would remember how awful her tryout had been and realized it was for the best. This way she could always have the best view for games. If she played there was no way she would be able to see as much as she could from the stands. She had made sure to get there early so she could get a good spot and she cheered now as the teams took to the pitch. She knew her house wasn't playing but it was the final game to see who would win the cup and there was no way she was going to miss seeing that. It wasn't her fault the Gryffindor team hadn't performed well this year. She would have to try and talk to their captain about that and give him some suggestions for next year. Leah didn't really have a preference for what team to cheer for so she made sure to split her support evenly.

Celia's comments about the paper had a lot more truth to them then Aine had been willing to admit. And Aine was, frankly, not in the mood to write puff pieces. Writing about sport wasn't a huge step up but she had her notebook and pen ready for a game that would likely be over before she could fill a page. At least country footy games were a good morning out. There was a barbeque at the very least. And you had a better visual on the game. Though Hufflepuff v Gryffindor had at least been fun, even if they'd lost. At least there was more than 2 minutes of a game. Hopefully this would be a good one too. And more hopefully, Ravenclaw would win.

Salem would always enjoy Quidditch games a little bit more when Gryffindor was the one playing them but she still relished the chance to cheer for her friends, leaning as far over the front railing of the stands as she could to see down onto the pitch. Time management wasn't her forte but she'd managed to get a decent spot near the front so she could see Indi better, giving a whoop when she spotted her friend down on the pitch. She doubted Indi could see her, but she waved enthusiastically anyway, glancing over the rest of the players to try and guess how today's match might go.

Raafe couldn't exactly say Quidditch interested him but even he could show up for the finals when his cousin was playing. Well, cousin once removed, but who was counting. He wended his way through the crowd, deciding to sit near Leah Thorne simply because she had a good spot and probably wouldn't tell him to go away. "If I say we're friends now will you let me sit with you?" He asked, not really waiting for a reply before settling himself in near Leah's elbow and giving her a mild smile. @Leah Thorne

Brooke wasn't sure why she bothered to continue making appearances at games like this; Natalia was barely speaking to her after things last year and it was exactly like Liusaidh would notice if she was there or not, and still Brooke couldn't bear to have people thinking she spent all her time wasting away in the common room, even if she was sure she could be spending her time far better working on her NEWTs than out here in the stands. At least it was a pleasant day and Brooke tried to focus on the sunshine as the teams gathered on the pitch, letting the sound of the rest of the crowd wash over her for a moment before the game got started.

Joseph didn't always go and watch every quidditch game hosted at the school, but whenever he had time he'd gladly make his way over to the pitch. Even more so when his own kid was playing. He knew the risks of Ivelisse being a seeker was having to watch her get hit by bludger after bludger but that didn't rule out the pride he felt when watching her fly around during the games. No matter how well she did. Joseph found himself a comfortable seat near the middle of the bleachers and stretched his legs for a second before sitting down. Who knew how long, or short, this game would be.

While Isaiah was sorely disappointed they yet again hadn't come close to winning the cup he was curious to see who would. Especially since it would be interesting to see Ravenclaw go up to Slytherin. He at least hoped there would be some serious bludger action to make it an interesting game. Zay had made his way up the stairs to the stands and with perhaps a little pull of rank managed to get himself a seat at the front so he could have a clear view of the pitch.

Even though Senna hadn't been able to make the team this year she had faithfully made sure to attend every game there had been. Sure, it was sad that Gryffindor wasn't going for the championship but that didn't mean watching the game wouldn't be fun. A different kind of fun because she wouldn't be cheering for one team in particular. But still fun. She had raced up the stairs and with a lot of apologies had found her way through the rows untill she was content with the place she had ended up. After all, going to see a game was no use if she couldn't see the game.

Josh tried his best to attend school games. He loved sports and wanted to be a supporter of all teams! The young Gryffindor boy had been running a little late for the game. Though he wasn't surprised by his slight lateness. The boy hurriedly made his way to the stands, he noticed that most of the spots had been taken. It took a while until he found a familiar face. He squeezed past a few people. Saying many, many apologies before taking a seat next to his friend. "Howdy partner," Josh says, as he tries to make the worst accent he could possibly make. "Did I miss anything important so far?" Josh asked as he went back to his normal accent, as looked out towards the pitch.

@Senna Overby

Josh knew he couldn't miss this game. This game seemed like an important one as this game was with a whole international team. The Gryffindor boy had made sure not to be late to the game this time as we had hoped he could be one of the first few people to be there. Luckily, he wasn't that late and he had managed to find a good spot where he could get a good view of the game. Josh sat down on the bench as he awaited for the game to begin.

Xiuying had been a bit disappointed that they had lost their game, but she wasn't going to let that ruin her spirit for the game between Slytherin and the international team that they were going to be playing. The Ravenclaw girl quickly made her way down to the Quidditch pitch. It seemed like she had arrived at a good time. It was starting to get crowded, but she managed to find a good seat. She of course wanted to see the game. Though it realised it might be a bit harder to see once everyone else came to join in. Xiuying quickly sat down as she waited for the game to begin.

In all honesty, Molly didn't really know why she had decided to watch the Quidditch game today. She never really usually watched Quidditch games. They seemed very confusing to her. But she knew her younger sister liked the sport and now that she had a boyfriend that was part of the Quidditch team, she had hoped that maybe watching the game would help her understand the sport better as well as be supportive in some way. Molly hurriedly arrived at the pitch. She didn't really like being late. Though she did notice that it was starting to get crowded and that there weren't many good seats left. She decided to take a random seat, unsure if it was a good spot or not, and waited for the game to start.
