Open The Brew Crew

Lilith noticed Susie and who she knew to be her brother lingering around and making a way to move. She also noted that the Zephyr boy was there, at least she thought that was him from sorting ceremony. Keeping an eye on the pair she watched them come closer and noted the clenched fists of the boy. "It's alright just keep walking Freddie," She said to the boy with a soft encouragement. Giving Susie a smile and a silent Hello she welcomed the two before glancing sideways to her boyfriend. "You wanted to be a healer yes? Taking a club for potions wouldn't be such a bad idea Antares. It should do you good, besides you like potions." She gave the blond a somewhat pointed look to emphasis.

Ten turned to see Veronica headed her way, a smile of her own mirrored on her face. Her cheeks flushed at the compliment, and the sixth year almost matched the red shade of her hair, that she was now trying to use as a curtain to hide her embarrassment. "Don't know what you're talking about," Ten retorted, trying to keep an air of cool but failing miserably. She didn't really know how Veronica did it, she just seemed so graceful and put together at all times, and the way she didn't seem fazed by telling someone how she felt was admirable. "Yeah?" She was grateful that there would be another older student among them willing to help the others, and while perhaps Ten didn't know too much about Veronica's potion making skills if not because whenever she had paid attention to her in class it was because she was paying attention to her, she trusted that Veronica wanted to do what she could for the younger years. "Thank you," she told her suddenly sincerely, her eyes trying to meet hers in such a way that Veronica didn't think the comment was off the cuff, "for being here."

Freddie wasn’t expecting someone to say his name. How did she know his name? Did Susie tell her? Did Susie tell her about Ares? The Ravenclaw relaxed his fists, face burning with embarrassment. He was trying to look cool, but he didn’t feel very cool, staring at the floor, surrounded by his big sister’s friends. What if Ares turned on him next? What if he told everybody Freddie was a big baby who let his sister drag him around? What if he made the whole club hate him?

No - Freddie wouldn't let that happen. He'd fight Ares again if he had to. He didn't care if it got him detention for the rest of the year. Nobody could stop him - not Susie, not some girl she knew, not his professors. His heart thumped as he stood there, jaw clenched, not daring to look back at the stall. If Ares said anything, if he tried anything, if he even just laughed at Freddie, he was going to
get it.
