Slytherin Quidditch Team Practice Y40 S1

Celia's side still ached. It was a good thing she hadn't been hit in her dominant arm. Realizing that there was a chance of that happening in a game, she passed the bat to her left hand and took off after a bludger. But when Celia swung at it, the bat barely glanced off the side of the iron ball. Hopefully no one had seen that pathetic attempt at a hit.

Eleanor flew towards the hoops. She aimed for the right hoop, and the keeper saved the shot. She pursed her lips in frustration.

Indi swore rather loudly as Celia hit her with a bludger and spun to glare at the other girl. They weren't supposed to be aiming for chasers after all. But she was at least pleased as Eleanor missed her shot and quickly grabbed the quaffle as it was tossed back into the game.

After losing sight of it Ivelisse went back to scanning the sky in search of the snitch.

Bat still in her left hand, Celia tried to knock a bludger towards Ivelisse. There was very little power in her swing, and the ball continued on its original trajectory. This clearly wasn't working. Celia switched the bat back to her dominant hand.

Ivelisse kept on looking.

As soon as she had her bat back in her dominant hand, Celia felt more confident. She smashed a bludger towards @Ivelisse Burleigh and gave a self-satisfied smirk when it made contact. Celia raised her eyebrows slightly, almost daring the girl to shoot back a glare or say something.

Indi raced towards the hoops and took aim. With a solid toss it went through the right hoop with ease.

Avie faltered off course as a bludger flew past him, but it smacked into the other seeker instead. He pushed forward, trying to give her a wider berth in case the beaters had it out for her.

Indi was pleased with her performance so far and hung back to see what the other chasers would do given the chance for the quaffle.

Avie left the other seeker behind, though it wasn’t long before he spotted the snitch flying in the same direction as he. He sped up, giving it a brief chase before, once more, his hand clasped the golden ball. He was good at this. He raised the snitch above his head for all to see, a small smile on his own lips.

Ivelisse groaned when she felt a bludger connect with her side, especially when it gave the other seeker the opportunity to pass her. She scowled when he managed to catch the snitch again, waiting for him to let it go and giving it a couple of seconds to fly off before starting her search again. Once it was gone from her sight Ive started looking for it and it didn’t take long for her to spot the little golden ball. Keen to not be outperformed again she shot after it as quickly as she could, reaching out her hand and eventually wrapping her fingers around it. She then held it up for everyone to see before letting it fly off again.

Liusaidh pushed forward and grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back out.

Seamus went to hit a bludger towards one of the seekers, but ended up sending it in entirely the wrong direction.

Celia was pretty impressed to see the seekers catch the snitch in quick succession, especially after she'd hit one with a bludger. Hopefully this bode well for the upcoming season. She took off after another bludger.

After letting it fly off Ivelisse set out to look for the snitch again.

Avery felt a pang of annoyance as the other seeker caught the snitch not long after he had, no doubt taking advantage of the work he'd put in. He couldn't be sure if she'd watched it go after he released it, but he had his suspicions and flew off in search of it again once she'd released it.

Indi followed close behind Liusaidh once she grabbed the quaffle. She wondered if she'd get a chance to steal it from their new 'captain'.

Lucie tried her best to stay focused, however was beginning to become a little frustrated, especially when she missed catching Indi's shot. She managed to save the shot made by Natalia, but was unable to save the one after that too. Lucie just figured she needed to focus more.

As a bludger hit Ares in the side, he winced in pain, casting a nasty glare towards the beater who hit him. He didn't know why she had to do that, but it made him rather annoyed. He kept in his search for bludgers, hoping to find one to hit her back.

Ivelisse kept looking for the snitch.

Although she had managed to catch the snitch twice Ive didn’t feel like that was enough.
