Slytherin Quidditch Team Practice Y40 S1

Avery leaned forward and tried to reach out for the snitch, but it darted away.

Celia tried to send a bludger towards the seekers, but it flew through one of the hoops instead. She wasn't sure why the bludgers kept doing that, but she hoped it looked impressive.

Ivelisse shot after the other seeker.

Celia sent another bludger through the hoops. She wondered if she should have been a chaser instead before dismissing that idea. Chasers were ultimately useless.

Avery thought the chasers appeared to be scoring a lot of goals. He realised it was bludgers going through the hoops instead, and gave a confused look. Were the beaters trying to take out the keeper?

Ivelisse kept flying.

Celia smacked a bludger towards the seekers, but it changed course and shot through the hoops again. She was starting to grow frustrated. It was like there was some omnipotent being out there preventing her from landing a third hit against any of her teammates.

Liusaidh grabbed the ball as it was thrown back out.

Seamus hadn't been having too much success and it was a little demotivating for him but he just had to keep trying.

Avery could feel a dull ache at the back of his eyes from the strain of searching.

Indi noticed Liusaidh grab the quaffle and she didn't waste any time and started following.

Celia caught up with the bludger and attempted to hit it towards Ivelisse. The ball looped around the girl and shot towards the goals instead before flying through the middle hoop. She glared at the ball. If the bludgers insisted on hanging around the hoops, the least they could do was take out the keeper.

As soon as Liusaidh was close enough she threw the quaffle and smiled watching as it sailed through easily.

Seamus was almost glad he was an alternate because after this practice he really needed to work at his playing.

Ivelisse thought she spotted a hint of gold and shot after it, already having her hand wrapped around the snitch before she even realized it herself.

Avery looked up as the other seeker caught the snitch. He frowned at the snitch's betrayal.

After letting the snitch go Ivelisse waited a little before starting her search again.

Ivelisse kept looking.

Liusaidh grabbed the ball again as it was thrown back out and none of the other chasers went for it.

Seamus was disappointed when he swung for the bludger and entirely missed.
