As Avery righted himself, he caught sight of the snitch and bolted after it. Soon enough, it was fluttering in his hand again, and he held it up to show it off.
Celia had lost track of the score by now. But she was pretty sure the seekers had caught the snitch more times than the chasers had scored goals. She wasn't sure if this meant the seekers were unusually good or if the chasers were unusually bad.
Ivelisse watched as Avery managed to get his hands on the snitch again, having lost track but knowing he had managed more catches than she had. Which was both good and bad.
Celia stared at Avery in disbelief before glancing over at her roommate. She almost didn't want to knock Avery out. She was really enjoying how he kept on showing Ivelisse up.
She hit another bludger and watched it sail through one of the hoops. Ten points for Celia.
((This was technically a successful hit, so if anyone wants their character to end up in the hospital wing, feel free to say they got hit))
Celia was forced to swerve to the side when a bludger unexpectedly shot towards her. She would never admit it, but she didn't think she was strong enough to take a third hit.
For some reason, one of the Slytherin beaters was on to Ares. They were clearly jealous that he made the team so quickly, and Ares smirked as they missed him a couple of times. On their third attempt however, they managed to hit Ares directly, and he groaned, casting the girl a nasty glance as he flew to the other side of the pitch to look for bludgers to hit back at her.
Lucie was doing quite well blocking shots as they came her way, however Celia was also doing a good job hitting bludgers towards others. As Lucie was hit for a second time, she keeled over in pain, which then resulted in her missing a few shots. The girl was annoyed, but this didn't stop her in trying. She kept a close eye on Indi as she flew towards her with the quaffle.
