Slytherin Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Ivelisse wondered whether Celia had somehow cast a spell on the bludgers so they'd keep flying straight

seamus' streak ended at three, but he knew that was probably for the best. Though he kept searching for bludgers to hit.

Celia was starting to think that @Toby Oikawa's early snitch catch was just beginner's luck, which was a shame. Then again, the other seekers weren't doing well either. Nevertheless she decided to hit a bludger at the young seeker.

As he was hit with a fifth bludger of the day, he did have to wonder if the other team's practices were this painful, or if it was just the Slytherin practice.

Apparently, his special skill was hitting bludgers back that were aimed at him. Once more he turned on it, sending it rocketing right back towards @Seamus Reid.

It was like a switch had flipped in Avery’s head. Now that he’d caught the snitch once this game, he felt like he knew exactly how to do it again. And after tracking it down, he did. It took him little time to catch up, thanks to his new Streak, and soon he had his hand clasped around the snitch a second time.

Toby was really feeling quite rubbish about this whole thing, and it stung even more watching one of the other seekers grab the snitch for the second time when he couldn't even find it again since the start of practice. It normally wasn't this hard, but he was just going to blame all the bludger hits.

Atlas winced from the pain of the various bludger hits she had taken throughout practice, she managed to grab hold of the quaffle when it was thrown into play and she took it towards the hoops. When she was close enough she took a shot but it missed.

Stretching out his arm for a moment, Mish was quick to get back on the hunt for another bludger to hit.

Horror had to remember how many times he was hit by a bludger. Most of the team would likely need a few trips to the hospital wing after this. After he caught the quaffle the other chaser threw, he tossed it back into play.

Terror swore under his breath when the fifth bludger managed to hit him, but he flew and caught his twin's throw, and soared off.

Celia was pleasantly surprised to see Avery catch the snitch. She decided to spare him a hit from a bludger for now and instead directed the ball towards @Atlas James-Cade. The chaser really had no excuse for missing that shot, especially since the keeper was a second year.

Avery returned to flying around, keeping a close eye out for bludgers. He’d been a sitting duck for too long.

EDIT: DUCK. A SITTING DUCK

Horror kept the goals safe, for now.

Celia decided @Avery Lancaster had had enough of a reprieve and sent a bludger soaring towards him.

Terror went up to the hoops, and attempted a shot, which was promptly caught by his twin. Seriously, was Horror reading his mind or something? He needed to change his strategy.

Horror caught his twin's throw, and hurled the quaffle back out into play. Honestly, this was the best torture for him. Seeing him get beaten down by the captain - and it was worth himself getting hit as well.

Avery could see the bludger headed toward him, but he didn’t have time to move out of its collision course. He raised an arm protectively and grit his teeth as it hit him. His luck had to run out sooner or later.

It was slowly becoming clear which twin was the better Quidditch player, and it wasn't @Terror Zhefarovich.

Mischa looked around for a bluger.
