Celia thought @Toby Oikawa needed to do less grumbling and more seeking, so she hit a bludger at him.

It took effort to ignore what was happening around and focus on the snitch, though Avery still couldn't see where it had gone.

A bludger arced through the air towards her, and Celia redirected it into @Mischa Falter-Butera.

Seamus wasn't doing much for a little while and still hit nothing.

Ivelisse searched.

 

[Lennox Addison]

Lennox was about to scream. She was so sore from all the bludgers. She would not give the captain the satisfaction of knowing, but Lennox honestly wasn't sure how many more she could take before she had to take a break. She tried to keep the pain hidden on her face as she grabbed the quaffle as it was thrown back into play.

 

[Celia Vu]

Celia followed up her hit against Mischa with one against @Seamus Reid. It was a little strange to think this would be her last year as a beater on the team.

Lennox aimed at the hoop, feeling exhausted. She was pleased when it soared through. Thank god. Maybe she would be spared a bludger hit now.

Seamus got hit with a bludger, sent by Celia and missed the one he'd been going for.

 

[Avery Lancaster]

Avery had another little pursuit of the snitch and caught it again. His whole body ached, but these catches were enough to lessen the pain every time they happened.

 

[Celia Vu]

While Celia was glad to see Lennox score, she was more than a little concerned that the chasers had only made three goals so far. She sighed and sent a bludger spiraling towards @Horror Zhefarovich. As she did so, she spotted Avery with the snitch once more. Celia frowned at the other two seekers. If they didn't want to be benched the entire season, they needed to step up their game.

Avery let the snitch flit away.

When no one grabbed the quaffle, Lennox decided to give it another try. She grabbed the quaffle when it was thrown back into play. She tucked the quaffle under her arm.

Celia hit a bludger towards @Terror Zhefarovich for not being more proactive and grabbing the quaffle.

Lennox aimed towards the goal. She let her thoughts get into her head, not having enough force at the moment to score the goal. She missed. That was annoying. She hoped the game wouldn't be like this. She would hate to miss in front of all those people.

Avery returned to searching.

Celia tried to hit a bludger towards Lennox and was a little stunned when she missed. Clearly her injuries were getting to her.

Ivelisse did not catch the snitch.

Celia did not hit a bludger.

Avery did not catch the snitch.

Neither did Celia. But that was because it wasn't her job.

(Not that she was doing her own job very well either)
