Slytherin Quidditch Practice One

Sapphire caught up with the bludger and took a careful swing at it, grinning widely as her bat hit it with a satisfying crack! She grinned as it started to soar straight towards Liam, but groaned when the ball twisted in it's path and shot instead to hit @Sara Benivieni. She cursed. Stupid bludgers were driving her insane.

Mordred felt that he was doing okay. He hadn't been trying to push himself too hard this practice. He felt the chasers were getting better as they had made some shots, which made Mordred smile. He wasn't angry that they made some shots surprisingly.
OOCOut of Character:
Sorry y'all. I have been feeling terrible lately.

Looking over his shoulder, Blake's heart jumped when he saw Leda fixated on something in front of her. Was she really going to pull her fake catch to save the day now?! "HEY!" He yelled and pulled his broom around, flattening himself to it as he shot after her, teeth gritted in fury.

Sapphire was startled after Blake yelled, pulling up short to see why he was yelling. And shooting after Leda.

Jai cheered as Sara and Jasper made their goals for the day and while he was getting frustrated that he wasn’t making any, he was not about to give up now. Scooping the quaffle up, Jai circled around the pitch for a bit, just in time to see Sara hit by a bludger and the two seekers chasing after something. Well, he probably should make his shot soon, he thought as he sped towards the hoops.

Blake shot across the pitch on Leda's tail, wondering if she had actually seen something, or if she was just gonna pull a snitch out of her pocket. Either way, he was going to be there and hopefully stop her.

Sapphire raised a brow at the boys behavior, but turned. Leda could handle him. She shot after the bludger again. She caught up to it and gave it a firm hit, watching in annoyance as it flew past the chaser she had originally aimed for and smacked into the keeper instead. What was his name? Mordred? She gave him a small smile before flying away. Poor kid.

Well, there was definitely a lot of things happening on the Pitch all at once that Jai decided to take the shot. In hindsight, that was definitely not the brightest idea he had and yet still went through with it. While he was pretty sure that he had aimed correctly, he did not take into account the quaffle actually hitting the bludger and throwing it off course completely. Well, that was definitely frustrating.

Blake continued to tail Leda, slowly closing the distance between them. Whatever she was up to, he wasn't going to let her get away with it, and he shot after her, eager to catch the snitch himself and prove himself once again.

Sapphire rolled her neck, looking to see if the seekers were okay. Leda must have been on to something to have Blake following her so closely.

Blake kept flying, thoughts of victory in his mind. Maybe he could catch the snitch right out from under Leda! That would show everyone!

Sapphire trailed after the bludger but kept an eye on the seekers. It would be interesting to see who could catch it first. She personally hoped for Leda, but that was just because she preferred the redhead to the snobbish boy.

After her successful hit, Sara had been watching the seekers and beaters a bit too much as a bludger hit her on the side. She winced, gripping her broom tightly but sending Sapphire a thumbs up. It was part of play, there was nothing to be done really. Jai failed to score but he had a long way ahead of him still. Sara scooped up the quaffle once more, hoping to make eye contact with the next chaser so she could pass it to them.

Blake kept flying across the pitch, feeling like he was finally starting to get close to Leda and dreaming about snatching another win right from under her nose.

Leda glanced over her shoulder to see Blake risking her. Clearly he’d twigged onto the fact she’d seen the snitch. Turning back she sped up still, trying to shake him off.

As interested as Sapph was about what was going on with the seekers, she needed to get back to work. She turned back to her own work, shooting after the bludger and trying to chase it down again.

Sara kept pushing forward, quickly getting frustrated that whenever she was in possession of the quaffle, she never had the chance to pass it on. She was being persistent though as with the thing tucked under her arm, she kept flying, on the lookout for Jasper, Jai or Luna.

Blake scowled as Leda finally twigged that he was following her, trying to speed up in time to catch up with her. He still couldn't see if she was actually chasing anything, but if she was, he wasn't going to let her do it unopposed.

Jasper followed Sara, wondering if she would try to score soon. She was the oldest chaser on the team, so he guessed he could probably learn from her. But he was too pleased with his own goal to really think about that. Clearly he was good too, and he wanted to prove it again.

Sapphire caught up with the bludger, smirking as her bat connected with a firm whack. She grinned as it hit the other chaser boy, Jai or something. She had stopped apologizing ages ago. They were going to be hit during games, it would be rude of her to dance around it in practice.

Blake pressed close to his broom, catching an actual glimpse of gold ahead as he caught up to Leda at last. There it was! He stayed as close to her tail as he could, trying to pull ahead and catch the snitch for himself

Seeing both seekers closing in on the snitch, Sapphire decided to stay near them to keep the bludgers off. She shot over to their side of the field, trying to stay in their general area and keep her eye out for any incoming shots.

Leda heard the crack of the bat on a bludger and hoped it wasn’t headed for her, keeping her head low just in case.

When Sara heard a crack, she glanced back and saw Jai having being hit by a bludger. She automatically winced but turned to face forward again, finally noticing Jasper who was just after her. With a simple nod to him, Sara threw the quaffle towards him, hoping he would catch it without it being intercepted.

Blake kept pushing ahead, silently urging his broom to go faster. He had to get the snitch again and prove once and for all he was the real star of the team.
