After the try outs the team was complete again and Liam was all ready to rock. They had to train hard if they wanted to win again. And he wanted nothing more than to do that under his command. And Leda's ofcourse. The team seemed strong to Liam's taste and he looked forward to playing with Sapphire on the field. She had been proving herself good. But he wanted to take moments of shine too obviously. Liam had send notes to all the players for the time and date and waited on the pitch for them. He had his broom in his hand and the chest with quidditch supplies stood next to him. Liam hoped everyone would be there, because they needed the full team. And the alternates were important too. Previous games had shown that, so they had to learn and play in different positions as well.

OOCOut of Character:
Please post your arrival first. When Liam's releasing the chest with everything you can go into the air. This practice will be open for two weeks.

Derek arrived at the quidditch pitch with his broom held lightly in his hand. He looked towards the captain who was stood on the pitch. He smiled at the boy and then walked over to him, "Hey Liam," he knew the boy a little better now that they patrolled together. "This is going to be great!" he knew that they would be spending time really improving the team and Derek was definitely keen for it.

Daintree was getting involved, he was now on the quidditch team, as an alternate beater. He would definitely have fun in that position. He didn't know too much about quidditch but he could learn on the go. The boy was at the pitch with a brand new broom he made his father buy him. He hoped that by the end of the year all of this would help him not have to come back. Dain looked at the two people already on the pitch but stood apart, he was just ready to get his first real quidditch experience.

Leda was confident in the new team they'd chosen, and she was glad too that Sapphire was staying on, now a full member of their team after helping them to victory for years. She stood beside Liam a little reluctantly, but gave him a pleasant smile and waited for the others to arrive. She hoped that between their practise sessions and the team building exercises they were going to come on top as the best house team once more.

Sara arrived to the pitch with her broom in hand, ready more than ever for another year of Quidditch. Though she hadn’t played much the previous year, she couldn’t wait to be up in the air with her team once more. She smiled politely at the captains before she mounted her brooms and flew a couple of laps as a warm-up while she waited for practice to begin.

Sapphire had been thrilled to see she'd made a permanent position on the team. She wasn't sure about Liam, but she knew she would do her best to make Leda happy. She sauntered onto the pitch, blowing a bubble with her gum and her broom over her shoulders. She nodded to the others, keeping to the side a bit as she always did as she waited for practice to start.

Blake was excited to return to the quidditch pitch, even if once again he was trapped in a back seat he didn't deserve. He'd just have to take this practice as a chance to remind everyone he was the best seeker at Hogwarts, and show his skills off like he had last year. Stretching slightly as he joined the rest of the team, Blake gave a jaunty smile. "Ready to thrash the competition again?" He grinned, popping a joint in his neck as he stretched.

Jasper was excited for practice. He liked them best because he actually got to play during them. It made him feel like a real part of the team, and not just someone who sat on the bench. Jasper rolled his eyes at Blake as he said something. "You didn't win us the cup. Sapphire got the snitch last time." He reminded him pointedly. He waited for the practice to start, looking away from Blake now.

Liam was glad to see people showing up. And smiled at them. Looking to Derek. '' Hi Derek. For sure!'' Liam answered with a thumbs up and looked at the others and Leda for a moment. He grinned at Blake who seemed to be very competetive and Liam like that spririt. If Leda should be out of the game Blake had to play at his best too and had proven that before. He looked over the the group with a charming smile. '' Okay! Listen up everyone.'' Liam than said to get the attention. Since people were talking to eachother about who won them the cup por not. '' We have to train hard to win the house cup again. And we can for sure! I'm confident.'' They had to play together as a team for sure. Teamwork made the dreamwork right? '' Ok practice! Mordred you guard the south hoops. Chasers, try and score there. Leda and Blake play against eachother to catch the snitch. Beaters just try and hit someone or defend someone but let's not make it a big trip to the hospital wing. Leda or I will let you know when someone can't be hit anymore!'' Liam than explained. He wanted to get some good practice himself too. '' Ready? Go!'' He than said as he released the quaffle, snitch and bludgers. And flew up in the air himself with his beaters bat.

Leda watched as the others joined, silently glaring at Blake who was acting as though it was him who was carrying this team. Jasper was right, Sapphire had won for them before and if Leda had it her way, she wouldn’t have had Blake on the team at all. Luckily for him, he was quite a good seeker so would have made a suitable replacement should she have been sent to the hospital wing. This year though, Leda wanted to show that she was strong enough to not need back up, so nodded to Liam and mounted her broom, headed into the skies to start the hunt.

Blake was glad Liam was running this practice. He wanted to learn from someone who knew what they were doing. He shot Jasper a glare at the comment, wondering what was up with him. Jealous, probably. He nodded when Liam gave instruction and gripped his broom, excited to get started. At the call, Blake kicked off the ground and shot into the air, beginning his search for the snitch. Time to show Hogwarts what a real champion looked like.

Mordred had been finding himself increasingly annoyed with the people at his school. It was more that he was just more tired and disappointed in himself really. He did not really have a lot of people to talk to when had issues. There was nothing going on right now, but sometimes he just wanted to hang out with someone, and he only had his team to rely on at the moment. Mordred walked on to pitch and began to stretch in order to warm up. He smirked as he saw Jasper and Blake interact with each other. Liam quickly interrupted and gave assignments. Mordred mounted his broom and flew over to the South hoops. He fixed his fingerless gloves as he waited for the chasers.

Sapphire glanced to the two boys nearby when she heard her name mentioned. What was that? She meant to ask, but Liam interrupted. She turned to him, smirking as practice officially began. It was time to get going. She mounted her broom and kicked off into the air, swallowing her gum. She shot after a bludger, swinging to hit it, but it danced away at the last second. Ooh, that was how they were going to play today. She smirked and shot after it again.

Blake kept his eyes open as he circled the pitch, eagerly searching for any signs of the snitch. He had done so well in their last practice, there was no doubt in his mind he would bring that again this year, and show everyone what he was made of. All he had to do was spot that little glimmer of gold.

Sapphire was intrigued by the blushers resistance to her today. They kept leaping out of her way at the last moment. She studied it, wandering how to correct her swing. She flew up next to Liam. "Yo, Cap, " she called as she drew near. "Any tips for jumpy blushers?" She asked, wandering if there was something he'd seen she'd missed.

Blake kept his eyes open as he flew higher, annoyed at how long it was taking him. Usually he could catch the snitch in no time at all, what was wrong with it today? Ugh. He'd probably lost focus from having to stay out of the limelight for so long. Flattening himself to his broom, he pressed onwards, looking for any sign of gold.

Leda wanted to catch the snitch even if it was just to show up Blake. That being said last time she caught the snitch in a game, Mervyn had kissed her. Maybe that was why Sapphire had liked being her back up too, she mused. Flying around the pitch she kept a close eye out for the snitch.

As soon as Liam gave the go, the girl was once again up in the air, and to her amusement she was the first one to get her hands on the quaffle. She sped towards the south hoops, attempting to dodge any bludgers that came her way, accidentally or on purpose.

Blake kept looking around, giving up on flying high. Maybe the snitch was closer to the ground. He pressed the nose of his broom downwards and dove, looking around as he descended, though there was no sign of the snitch.

Sara wasn’t sure what was happening around her exactly, all her focus was on was in scoring and getting closer to the hoops so she could take a shot. She didn’t think the snitch had been caught yet, so she sped up, inching closer to the south hoops and hopefully, she could aim right and score, she just needed to be close enough to throw.

Leda continued looked out for the snitch and keeping an eye on the others as they practised too, not used to having to watch for both at the same time. Sara had grabbed the Quaffle and she hoped the older girl would be able to score for them.

Liam flew into the air and swung his bat a few times to warm up. He wanted to get some bludgers this practice. And looked as everyone took posession. Sara was the first to take on the quaffle and he smiled. Than Sapphire flew next to him and he smiled charming as always. He first tried to hit one but the bludger seemed to be living his own life and he missed. Than he looked at Sapphire. '' Not yet. Same problem. But try again. You can do it.'' Liam than said to the girl and grinned. And flew in the other direction to search for bludgers there.

It seemed as though the bludgers weren’t working for anyone yet, and Sara took this opportunity to attempt a shot, when she got close to the hoops. Her one hand tightly holding the broom, the italian grabbed the quaffle tucked under her arm with her other hand and swung her arm back, before she threw it as hard as she could. She smiled when she noticed that it went straight through.

Leda cheered when Sara managed to score a goal. The girl had always been quite quiet but Leda hoped she would shine this year and show the other chasers how it was done. She turned back to her own hunt, determined to get the snitch before Blake did.

Sapphire nodded. Not overly helpful, but something she could do. She took off the other way. Soon enough she swung again, pleased as her blow connected. She sent the bludger flew towards the seeker kid, Blake. She smiled as it hit target. She took off quickly, eager to try again.
