Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Michael swatted a bludger away from the chasers.

Audrey chased after a bludger.

Hamish continued his search.

Xiuying got a hold of the quaffle and made a lap around the pitch before making her way towards the hoops.

Savannah let go of the snitch and let it fly off. Giving it a second before she went after it again.

Hamish kept up the search, trying to stay focused.

Clearly something was in the water, she had just let the snitch go, and watched it fly off, for moments later to have it fly in front of her and she caught it again, easily. Savannah laughed a little to herself as she held the snitch once more.

Hamish wasn't paying attention to the others, and flew until he caught sight of the snitch. He shot after it, coming up with it and smiling. He let it go, watching it fly off. He looked over, knowing the new seeker had caught it a few times already. "Hey, maybe your good luck is rubbing off on me,' He offered with a smile, trying to be friendly.

Not moments after failing her shot, Rion took the full impact of a second bludger straight to the hip. She yelped, partly in agony, partly in anger. “STOP IT! WHY ARE YOU HITTING ME? STOP!” she screamed. This was her punishment for being a terrible chaser, wasn’t it? They wanted her off the team, and they were going to pelt her with bludgers until she left in a rage or was too broken to come back.

Crystal was back again to be alert and saw how a lot of attemps have been. Her roommate seemed to score them all and the new ones had some more trouble. So she was glad at least she hold of some, but it wasn't really good. And than she got hit by a bludger and knew again why she hated it. And it was mean because directly Xiuying scored at that moment. Crystal felt her side and it hurted. But she felt even more for Rion, the younger girl. Michael seemed to be helpfull keeping the bludgers away for a moment and she shot him a small smile. And focused again hopefully hold of a attempt from their captain.

Hamish jumped so hard he almost fell off of his broom, looking with wide eyes to the new chaser. She knew it was just part of the game... right?

Just as Xiuying threw the quaffle towards the hoops, this time it had completely missed, she heard someone shouting which made Xiuying whip her head around and noticed it was Rion nearby. The captain grew concerned for the girl. "Are you ok? Did you want to take a break?" Xiuying called out to the younger girl sympathetically. However, she wasn't going to force the girl if she didn't want to. While it was part of the sport, she did feel bad for the younger girl.

Savannah let go of the snitch after she caught it and began looking for it again.

Monday stopped flying as the younger chaser basically screamed. He used his other hand to scratch behind his ear before he shrugged and shook his head. Quidditch was brutal, and he knew that it was better now to get used to it, or leave. He flew off in search of another bludger.

When Xi missed her shot and the quaffle was thrown back into play Rory grabbed the quaffle and headed towards the hoops on the other side of the pitch.

Crystal saw her roommate miss and threw the quaffle back. And made herself ready for an new attempt.

Monday continued to fly around the pitch.

Amauri felt bad for Rion, it did suck to get hit by the bludger but it seemed as though the older girl couldn’t handle it. She followed behind Rory incase he needed to pass.

Rion didn't know what she wanted. She wiped her face and shook her head. No. She wasn't quitting. She could hold it together. She had to hold it together. People were already looking at her like she was crazy. Gripping her broom, she flew after Amauri and Rory.

Savannah began chasing after the snitch once more.

Crystal watched Rory getting the quaffle and made herself ready to try and block it.

Rory got closer to the hoops and made an attempt to score but he missed easily.

Xiuying nodded when she noticed the younger girl didn’t need a break, and followed closely behind Rory as he had a hold of the quaffle but noticed he missed. Xiuying held back for a bit to give someone else another go to hold the quaffle.

Michael winced a bit at what was going on, trying to focus on playing defensively for the moment to hide the fact that his aim was not very good today. It wasn't most days, to be fair. Maybe he'd ask whoever was captain next year if he could switch to playing keeper or chaser once Crystal and Xiuying graduated.

Audrey practiced hitting, feeling a bit like she was back home and trying to just consistently get bat on bludger.
