Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Monday managed to find another bludger, and this time whacked it toward the other new chaser instead. He smirked subtly when it was a direct hit to @Amauri Kendall-Wu
 
Xiuying grew concerned when she noticed Rion had tears streaming on her face. Maybe she’d check on the younger girl later. Xiuying got a hold of the quaffle when Rion threw it towards the nearest chaser and Xiuying made her way towards the hoops.
 
Michael hovered near the seekers, as he wasn't doing the best job with hitting bludgers but maybe he could swat them away.
 
Audrey chased after a bludger.
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, the girl threw the quaffle towards the right hoop and it managed to sail through.
 
Amauri was watching her Captain and Rion as they passed the quaffle to one another when the bludger struck. The first year yelped out in pain, wondering if one of the students had hit her on purpose or whether she'd just been in the way. She took a moment to pause in the air, rubbing the side of her torso frantically in an attempt to dull the pain. She was going to be left with a few bruises by the time she even came to a real game.

Still in the air, she watched Xiuying score a goal, and did her best to put on a pleased face. Grabbing her broom once more, she understood now why Rion had chosen to pass earlier. Moving forward she attempted to grab the quaffle and ignore the pain in her side.
 
Audrey dashed forward and hit a bludger wildly, having it go off course. Maybe her father's insistence on form meant something but she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of being right. Even if he wasn't even there. She felt like his ears would start burning, or something.
 
Michael looked around for a bludger, keeping an eye on the new chasers. Especially since they were both so small and had already been hit.
 
Xiuying followed closely behind the younger chaser.
 
Amauri was tempted to pass the quaffle, but she was here to practice wasn't she? She threw the ball as hard as she could with the pain in her side, and while she wasn't surprised it didn't go in, she had hoped she'd be better than this now she was actually on the team.
 
Michael managed to get bat on bludger, but it sailed helplessly past its target seeker.
 
Audrey lined up a bludger hit, but she was hitting a little too lazily and the bat did not hit the bludger.
 
Monday could not locate another bludger to hit.
 
Audrey sighed, looking around for a bludger to hit.
 
Michael kept his eye on the younger players, trying to focus on defense.
 
When no one else caught the quaffle, Xiuying quickly got a hold of the quaffle and circled around the pitch towards the hoops.
 
Hamish continued his search.
 
Michael batted a bludger away from Hamish as he searched.
 
Audrey was feeling frustrated that her hitting wasn't going as well as she'd hoped. At least her dad wasn't watching.
 
Michael felt a bit guilty, but the opportunity arose and he sent a bludger directly towards @Hamish Reid . It was a clean hit. He probably should've kept batting them away, though. "Sorry, man," he yelled. "All good?"

Right as one of the beaters hit a bludger at the seeker, Audrey saw her chance and hit a bludger at the other seeker. Kind of sneaky, but you didn't win games by being nice. @Savannah Walters

Hamish was interrupted from his search when someone smacked him with a bludger. He grimaced, before looking over to Michael. "I'm good! Great shot!" He called back.
 
When Xiuying was close enough to the hoops, Xiuying threw the quaffle towards the hoops, and it managed to sail through and smiled when it managed to get through. This time Xiuying flew back to have a look at the practice so far, hoping someone else would get a hold of the quaffle.
 
Savannah did not catch the snitch.
 
Michael gave a small salute to Hamish, continuing to keep an eye out.
