Ravenclaw Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Michael took a deep breath, aiming his shot and hitting @Monday Weeks with it. It was probably a bit mean to hit his fellow beater, but quietly he wondered if that might help Rion feel a little better. For some strange reason.

Audrey tried to intercept and hit the bludger between the two older beaters but couldn't react in time.

Hamish continued his search.

Michael guiltily swatted a bludger away from the team.

Audrey had what she thought was a clean hit, going straight towards the older seeker. Unfortunately, she was still getting used to targeting actual players and it sailed past him, crashing in to @Michael Watson instead. Well, he was a beater too, he could handle it.

targeting your own players is always weird

Hamish continued his search.

Amauri darted between the flying bludgers, catching the quaffle after Rory missed the goals. After flying a quick loop of the hoops, she flung the ball towards the center hoop, but groaned again when she missed.

Audrey sent a bludger wide of her targets.

Michael winced at getting hit, but he was able to quickly angle himself to shoot the bludger back at the assailant @Audrey Beauchamp before it went zooming off. He felt bad because she was a first year, but at least she was also a beater.

lol

Hamish continued his search.

Michael looked around, keeping an eye on things.

Audrey made a noise as she got hit, almost tempted to send another bludger straight back at the beater but instead decided to hit @Hamish Reid instead when the right opportunity presented itself, as taking out seekers and making their own seekers have thicker skin was pretty important.

Savannah kept looking for the snitch.

Hamish continued his search.

Xiuying got a hold of the quaffle and circled around the pitch, towards the hoops.

Savannah continued to look for the snitch.

Hamish kept looking for the snitch.

When Xiuying was close enough the hoops, the threw the quaffle towards the right hoop and it made it through the hoops.

In spite of the throbbing in her side Rion did smirk as Michael hit Monday. She watched Xiuying closely, trying to memorise her technique. As the quaffle came back into play she caught it and flew back a little, working up the courage to take another shot.

Michael scanned the sky, looking out for any errant bludgers.

Audrey tried to showboat with a shot and almost hit herself with her own bat.

Hamish continued his search.

This time, Rion flew toward the hoops from the side and launched the quaffle as she passed them. For a moment, she thought it had gone in, but when she turned around she saw that, yet again, it hadn't even come close. It would almost have been funny, if it weren't so completely humiliating.

Xiuying followed the young chaser who currently had the quaffle.

Monday felt the familiar pain of a bludger hitting him, which he knew came from Michael. He just waved it off since it was a good hit and continued on.
