Adam huffed after tossing the quaffle back into play, watching Hope fly around. That Mitchell kid may have caught it by now if he'd stuck him in. He shook his head, focusing on the game.

Lucas caught the quaffle as it was thrown back into play, starting to loop around again.

Aramis sighed as Édelie's shot was blocked, straightening up now that the Americans were back on the offensive and heading his way.

AJ was tempted to aim for the Beauxbatons' beater instead, if only to keep her off of Hope, but he knew tactically it was smarter to aim for the seeker, even if he kept missing.

Gaby followed the Ilvermorny chaser who was now in possession of the quaffle.

Gemma spotted a bludger heading her way and she swatted it away easily but the angle was all wrong and she missed hitting anyone by a wide margin.

The Beauxbaton's beater was starting to get on his nerves and in an attempt to clear a path to their seeker, AJ knocked a bludger her way instead. The bludger sailed wild and AJ watched for a moment as their two bludgers passed each other in the air.

Aramis spotted Gaby hot on the American chaser, hoping she could interfere before he got too close to Aramis and the goals.

Lucas made his way back and threw the quaffle, but the bludgers caught his eye and his aim skewed a bit. Just enough that it was caught again. He almost frowned, hoping he'd at least thrown it hard enough to sting a bit.

Gaby was slightly relieved the american chaser’s shot got blocked and caught the quaffle when Aramis threw it back out.

Aramis was ready for the Ilvermorny chaser this time, slapping the quaffle away from the hoops and shaking out his hand from the impact. He scooped it back up, pleased, and threw it back out to Gaby's waiting hands.

After trading bludgers with the Beauxbatons' beater, AJ decided to move back closer to Hope, deciding to go on the defensive again.

The second bludger hit really hurt, and Hugo was searching for the snitch with more desperation. He needed to find it before he was taken out.

Ah beans I took myself out

Eli managed to hit a third bludger at the Beauxbatons seeker, watching with some sympathy as it hit the younger boy. He hoped this would help their team immensely, hopefully Hope would catch it soon. He knew the game would pause now and waited for the referee to call a break.

Ares had been lost during the first half of his first match. He didn't realise how good everyone would be and it definitely wasn't like any of the practice games they had played. The boy was already tired following everyone around the pitch and was disappointed that Ilvermorny managed to score and they didn't. He flew close to Gaby this time to let her know that he was now there if she needed him.

The bludgers were quite busy this game, and even Reeve was on guard against them. He was flying with his hand very near to his bludger bat...just in case. Watching the seeker take another hit, Reeve blew his whistle. "Time" he yelled out. The man moved to make sure the young player made it to the school nurse who'd made themselves available for the game.

Once that was done, he turned his attention to the Beauxbatons captain to see who they would be bringing in for the position. .

OOCOut of Character:
Medical time out. Beauxbatons, please name your replacement.

Édelie was glad to see Gaby has posession of the quaffle again when she heard another bludger nearby and saw Hugo get hit for a third time. She flew over to him as the ref called a timeout. "Are you okay?" she asked, as she offered to help him towards the sidelines. Taking a look at Amelie, she felt confident that the girl might just be what they needed to win, and quickly. " @Amelie Derouin will be subbing in as seeker," she said to the man, giving the younger girl a thumbs up as she prepared to continue the game.

Reeve made note of the person coming into the game and nodded at the captain. He flew back to his position, made sure everyone else was in their position and then called for the game to begin again.

OOCOut of Character:
Beauxbatons currently has the ability to take possession. They have 3 hours and 49 minutes from this post to make a move with the quaffle or it is fair game.

Eli hoped this had given them an edge, he glanced at Hope and nodded at her encouragingly.

When the game stopped and an new seeker came into the game Hope tried to calm herself. She hoped this would give her an chance. She felt for the other seeker she knew how it felt. And started her search again.

Adam whistled low as Beauxbatons was forced to alternate their seeker. He hovered in place as the game was called back into play, readjusting his sunglasses while he waited for Beauxbatons to make their move.

Having Hugo taken out wasn’t ideal and Gaby hoped Amelie would do as well now as she did in practice. With the quaffle under her arm she continued her way towards the ilvermorny hoops.

Amelie was mortified when Hugo was taken out. She swallowed nervously. Could she really do this? She took off on her broom, starting her search.

Adam drifted between the hoops, trying to determine where the Beaux chaser would go.

OOCOut of Character:
OMG SHE DID IT! ROUND OF APPLAUSE

Hope was just on the way when she saw something shiny and gold. She was almost shocked that she saw it and remembered she had to follow it and quickly took an deep dive as the snitch was challenging her. And than she raised her hand and managed to get it. Quickly pushing the broom up again so that she didn't fell down on the ground. She smiled bright and showed it to the people around her. '' YES I GOT IT! I REALLY GOT IT!'' She than yelled happily. She did prove Adam wrong, and she would not play her last game. They would play against the winner of Hogwarts New Zealand. She tried to find AJ, he had protected her so well. And the beaters had done an good job.
