Quidditch Game: Beauxbatons vs Ilvermorny

Lucas ignored Adam, shooting into the air with the others. He followed the French girl, catching the quaffle when it was thrown back in and turning to make his way across the pitch with it.
 
AJ frowned when Adam targeted Hope with his little pre-game speech, but hopefully she'd just ignore him. He kicked into the air, deciding to stick close to her as the match got started.
 
Aramis did a slow loop of the hoops as Gaby took posession of the quaffle, though it wasn't too long before the Americans got a hold of it and were heading his way.
 
Hugo sighed when they failed to score, then kept looking for the snitch.
 
Eli swung at a bludger and missed.
 
Abigail wasn't surprised Adam managed to block. She followed Lucas as he made his way across the pitch.
 
Adam clicked his tongue in a mock apology toward the French girl, and watched as Lucas, of course it had to be Lucas, took the quaffle as he threw it back into play.
 
Gaby turned around to follow after the Ilvermorny chaser who caught the quaffle.
 
Lucas could feel his nerves setting in. He threw the quaffle, and for a moment he almost thought it might go through. But the keeper for the other team swooped in and caught it. Lucas grimaced. He could already hear Adam jeering at him.
 
Aramis was a bit slow in reacting as the American chaser approached, but he just managed to get a hand on the quaffle to stop it from going through before passing it out to his team.
 
Spying a nearby bludger, AJ took a swing, knocking it hard towards the Beauxbaton's seeker. Their beater was onto it though, intercepting it whether she meant to or not. @Gemma Thorne
 
Gemma kicked off when the whistle blew and the game started. She stayed close to Hugo and tried to keep an eye on the rest of the team as well as the bludgers. She noticed too late that one of the Americans had hit a bludger right towards them. She didn't have time to hit it away and instead flew in front of Hugo taking the blow right to her shoulder. She cursed under her breath and turned to glare at the other beater.
 
Hugo saw the bludger coming at him and gasped when Gemma took it instead of him. "You okay?" He called.
 
Eli saw AJ's hit and nodded at him in approval. He tried to hit a bludger at the seeker as well, but missed entirely.
 
Abigail sighed audibly when Lucas failed to score. She watched the quaffle closely in hopes of intercepting it when it was thrown back out.
 
Gaby smiled at Aramis as she caught the quaffle when he threw it back out. She secured it under her arm as she flew off, casually looking around to see if she could pass to her teammates.
 
Édelie felt like so many things were already happening quickly and watched as Gemma was hit, wincing and hoping the girl was okay. Intending to catch the quaffle when Aramis threw it back, she followed after Gaby, hoping they could get a score in soon.
 
AJ tried to refocus, looking around for the other bludger.
 
Aramis gave Gaby a thumbs up as she caught the quaffle, watching her and Edelie take off to the other side of the pitch.
 
After getting hit with a bludger so quickly she was ready to do some damage herself. She spotted a bludger and quickly went after it. She hit it hard but it missed completely and she frowned.
 
Gemma hadn't heard his question or she was ignoring him, but Hugo couldn't blame her for that when she had just taken a bludger for him. He flew off, scanning the skies quickly.
 
Eli hit a bludger, hard, but it didn't hit anyone.
 
Abigail followed the chaser with the quaffle, hoping for a chance to steal it.
 
Lucas followed after the French players, hanging back a little and trying not to miss Einar too much.
 
Hope kicked off from the ground as the game started. Ignoring the words Adam had said to her, she was angry and wanted to prove wrong. Following the other seeker for the race to catch the snitch.
