Quidditch Game: Beauxbatons vs Ilvermorny

Abigail approached the hoops and threw the quaffle at the right one with force. To her slight surprise and utter delight, she managed to score the first goal of the match. Abigial grinned in triumph, then moved back a bit in the hopes of intercepting the quaffle again as it was thrown back in.
 
Hugo couldn't believe Gemma had been hit again, and then the other seeker was hit as well. So far, he had been lucky, but who knew how long that would last.

Eli hit another bludger and this time he managed to hit the Beauxbatons seeker, his target. He smiled slightly, then sped off to chase the other bludger.
 
The French beater seemed out for blood and AJ was too slow to get back to Hope when she knocked a bludger towards Hope in retaliation. He spent a moment checking on Hope before looking up to catch Eli managing to at least hit the Beauxbaton seeker in return.
 
Aramis was still reeling from the bludger hit, unable to move in time to grab the quaffle as the American chaser scored. Shaking his head, he grabbed the quaffle on the way down, throwing it back out to one of their nearby chasers.
 
Hope was busy with her search and saw AJ giving some room to hit someone. He did two times the other beater. But she tried to focus, an than the noice in her way by the person who AJ had hit. Perhaps he should hit her one more time. Bur Hope made an painfull noice, stupid bludgers. They were not gonna ruin this. Though the beauxbatons seeker got hit also so that was good.
 
Gemma was still pleased with herself but wasn't about to ease up now. But she was hesitant to leave Hugo and there were no bludgers near by.
 
Hugo knew it had to come sooner or later, but it still sucked when he was hit by a bludger. He yelled in pain, but at least managed to stay on his broom. That was something, right?
 
Eli tried to hit the Beauxbatons seeker again, but missed his shot.
 
Aramis rubbed his shoulder as he kept an eye on the quaffle. He supposed at least the bludger hit had helped wake him back up and take the game seriously.
 
Spotting a bludger heading their way again, AJ risked falling back from Hope again, this time able to successfully get it past the French beater and straight into their seeker.
 
Adam wouldn’t admit if he were even mildly impressed with his team’s beaters. So he didn’t. He hovered between the hoops, focusing more on how well he was doing.
 
The Beauxbaton's seeker and beater were looking a little worse for wear, but AJ didn't want to ease up yet. He knocked another bludger their way but didn't manage to make any contact.
 
Aramis could see the Ilvermorny team chasers were on their game and hoped Gaby, Édelie, and Ares were on the ball too.
 
Pressure was building the longer it dragged on. With two bludger hits already Gemma knew it was only a matter of time before she got benched. She just hoped to take out the Ilvermorny seeker before that happened.
 
Aramis didn't want to get too comfortable, rubbing his arm that still stung from the bludger and keeping his eyes peeled.
 
AJ wondered if Beauxbatons was playing more cautiously now, but he was struggling to hit anyone again, his bludgers going wide or being dodged as he took another swing.
 
Adam kept his eyes peeled.
 
Édelie didn't manage to intercept the American chaser and frowned as she scored. She didn't blame Aramis, as he was a pretty good keeper. Catching the quaffle, she headed back towards the other side of the field, looking for a chance to pass to her teammates, hoping to get there before another bludger took out someone on the team.
 
Gemma grinned when she spotted another bludger and aimed again for the other teams seeker but the shot went wide and hit their chaser instead. It felt good to hit someone even if it wasn't her main target. @Hyun Ong Hae
 
AJ ducked on instinct when the Beauxbatons chaser hit another bludger, glad that it diverted away from Hope this time, though he hadn't been fast enough to stop it from hitting Hyun instead.
 
Aramis was glad to see Édelie had the quaffle now, hoping she could manage a goal.
 
Édelie was felt a sudden jolt of enthusiasm when she saw Gemma hit one of the Americans and took another attempt at scoring, failing miserabley.
 
Hope flew faster and saw the seeker of the other team got hit again. She was glad that the beaters did an good job and smiled to AJ. She could not let the team down now.
 
Gemma was on high alert for bludgers knowing she was one hit away from being taken out, and she was ready to take out her frustration on the other team. But no bludgers were showing themselves now.
