Rory left the great hall, adjusting his tie as he did so. Looking towards the entrance hall and the court yard outside. It was there he noticed a certain someone whom he was sure would be happy to see him. Evelyn. The Valentine's day dance had been filled with all sorts of drama, it had also given Rory the opportunity to know that Evelyn was now single. He was always happy to flirt with her, and though he wasn't interested in her, he had a girlfriend, whom he......liked. It was just all good natured fun, just a little back and forth, and certainly just an opportunity to remind her that she was a beautiful and deserving of any person she wanted. The boy walked over, a charming smirk upon his features, "Hey Evelyn," he greeted with a friendly tone, "Ye daein' alright?" he asked, trying to see if she was upset so he'd know how best to play this. So he'd know how best to talk to her, flirt with her, just have a little back and forth with her. He didn't want to end up taking to her if she was too upset or crying, it would just be frustrating to have to look after her in that sense, that wasn't a job for Rory, that was a job for her friends to do, not him.

The blonde was up early this morning. Since the Valentine Dance she didn't slept very well. Evelyn thought things through and wished she could turn things to how she wanted them. They had magic so why couldn't she just wave with her wand and make everything perfect again. Her life was perfect until Lucas rejected her. The blonde didn't want to admit it, but she was a bit scared of falling back into her old patterns. Before the blonde came to Hogwarts she had never made any friend. Only Espen was there for her and her father than. But the rest only cared for the money her family had and Evelyn was too unkind that children didn't want to be around her. She was really a spoiled brat, and coming to Hogwarts changed that. But now she was so angry and sad that brought the spoiled brat back again. One misstep and everything could change. And that happend at the Valentine Dance. The blonde decided to get some air and walked over to the courtyard. Perhaps people could cheer her up or just talk. Evelyn went sitting on a bench there and looked around. She wasn't a fan of being alone, she liked people around her. And she could use that right now.

The blonde heard her name getting called and looked at the person who came to her. It was Rory, with his smile on his face like always as she came to her. The blonde smiled to Rory and was glad to see him. '' Hi Rory.'' the blonde greeted the boy she saw as one of her friends. The boy with the accent and everyone had a opinion on him. She knew Amber didn't liked him, but Evelyn saw it differently. Rory came on the right time and Evelyn was glad he cared. '' Well.. could be better. You were there at the Valentine Dance. '' Evelyn started off and figured that was all for now. The blonde always thought of Rory as someone charming. He send her roses and stuff and were always trying to irritate Noah and now Lucas. Rory had a great sense of fashion and he wasn't bad company at all. '' Come sit with me, will you? I could use some real company.'' the blonde asked with her prettiest smile.

It was always nice that Evelyn was so receptive so him. He was able to not entirely worry about someone getting annoyed at him with her. It was a plus. The teen nodded, "Aye," Rory took a seat next to her, he couldn't imagine being in her position. Rory had never not really gotten what he wanted. Sure the girl he'd hit on at the dance had said no to him, and he respected that, though her reasoning was dumb, clearly though Evelyn probably liked Lucas, he was definitely a bit controlling when it came to his partners. Rory pushed back such thoughts, knowing that he probably would be able to help change Evelyn's mind about it. However, he knew that she could use some company and she flashed that ever pretty smile, and while Evelyn was single, Rory was not, and he just pushed aside those thoughts too. Maybe a little flirting with Evelyn would both make her feel better and just continue their friendship as they always had had it. The boy smiled at her, "Tae be fair, I'd have thought ye'd be surrounded by friends the now," he smiled back as charmingly as he always did.

"Ah also wouldnae worry about yer pal no wantin' tae...," he motioned vaguely with his hand, not sure what Evelyn had been asking for with the guy but certainly Rory was sure that no one really turned down Evelyn for all that long, "Ah mean, his current bird's pretty but she's nothin' compared tae ye, honestly Evelyn, ye know yer the prettiest girl in the school, ye've got a great personality, incredibly smart and a beautiful f#cking smile," Rory continued, holding her gaze as he said it, still with the more flirtatious smile on his face, but meaning all of words very genuinely. "He'll come tae his sense, and ye and ah, can go back tae harmless flirting fae the sole purpose of me pissin' him aff and if he doesnae, ye can dae better, he's no worth yer time if he doesnae see how incredible ye are," In saying all this, and the slightly flirty attitude there was little thought given to Rory's girlfriend.

The blonde was glad that Rory came to her. Sometimes it was nice to talk with a boy about stuff. Mostly she would talk to Amber, Noemie or Fleur. She loved the girls and they were always around for her. But now she just wanted something else, and she happend to run into Rory. The accent of the boy was something that Evelyn had to get used to, but now it was just a part of him and she could hear him talking from afar. Rory came sitting next to her and Evelyn was glad he wanted to make time for her. She had a feeling Rory was always keeping an eye on her, and she didn't mind. The blonde sighted when Rory said the thing about being surrounded with friends. Evelyn smiled shortly.. '' Mostly I am. But I just wanted to get some air. It doesn't matter. I've left the common room, because Zenia is driving me nuts.'' Evelyn looked around the courtyard and noticed several students walking by. This school had so many students on it, she was curious how many were walking inside this castle. Mostly the blonde loved to be surrounded indeed, but today Evelyn didn't feel like it.

Rory was kind of sweet to her and Evelyn could really use that right now. To hear it from someone else was sometimes the best option. But everyone telling her that Lucas wasn't worthy of her didn't helped. The fact that she was rejected was painfull for the blonde. The blonde kept her mouth shut about the comment Rory made. She did worry a bit, but less than before. Rory had some kind of word for girlfriend, he called it bird or something. He ment Zoe, who he tried to flirt with and failed. When he complimented her in that way Evelyn smiled. Evelyn wasn't insecure about herself, she was confident and that was why she didn't saw a rejection coming. Everything she ever desired came in her way. '' Thanks Rory. That's really sweet of you. I didn't knew you could be.'' The blonde said and smiled about the last part. It was a pleasure to get this attention and to be a bit playfull. Thinking about Zoe made her a bit mad, why her and not she. She had no clue what Lucas saw in her. The comfort was kind of what Evelyn needed and she could get comfort from Rory now. Evelyn had a weakness for boys that seemed dangerous or tough. That was what Lucas was too. He had a reputation of flirting with many girls and so did Rory. Evelyn listened to Rory his talk. He was actually flirting with her, and the blonde didn't mind. Most people were irritated by Rory, but Evelyn wasn't. He was just being kind to her. Evelyn smiled again bright and gave the boy a kiss on his cheek. '' Your a sweetheart.'' the blonde said friendly.

Rory's friendship with Evelyn was perhaps a little different than most. He liked the girl a lot, she was a beautiful person, beautiful in every way but he had also really come to appreciate her for her. He didn't crush on her, though he wouldn't ever not flirt with her, it was just how they were. During this time too, the boy had hardly expected her to not be flanked by friends. At this time of need when the girl would certainly need her friends, why wouldn't they be there. But, it made sense as she explained it, "How?" he asked about it, he was sure that the name Zenia rang a bell, but he didn't know why, certainly he'd never flirted with her. He'd never spoken to her, but she was familiar to him a little. However, it didn't matter, it made sense that Evelyn had distanced herself a little from the common room and her friends to be alone and get some air. He couldn't imagine what it was like to break up with someone he actually cared about and then put himself out there to someone else. He just couldn't relate, so he would just take how Evelyn was feeling and go by that.

The boy was sure that his own girlfriend wouldn't hear any of what he said to her, but she would understand that he was just being nice. Rory was a little surprised by the kiss on the cheek, "My, my Evelyn," he said joking, putting a hand to his cheek, "Ah dinnae want anyone tae 'hink ah'm takin' advantage of ye, upset lassie, charming laddie," he smiled at her, his usual charming smile, he knew that she did it because he was being nice to her, and certainly Rory didn't anyone to see this exchange and think the worst of him as people normally did (with good reason) even if it was a little kiss on the cheek. But he smiled charmingly at her pushing on with it, since the flirting was making her feel better and he was more than happy to flirt, "Yer a bonnie lass Evelyn, and ah telt ye that bird he was wae hasnae got anythin' on ye. Ah mean the state of her compared tae ye, like a mutant grindylow and a veela," he assured her, meeting her gaze with ease, "Fae now though, yer single, make the most of it, break a few of fellas hearts,"

The blonde looked at Rory as he gave her attention. She really enjoyed the company of the boy. She knew Fleur liked Rory also. It was strange and if the boys ever heard that they would be compared together she knew they would disagree, but Evelyn thought Rory and Lucas were both charmers. They both seemed to like the attention of girls. '' Zenia Katsaros. She is in our year and the twin of that girl you tried to flirt with at the Valentines Dance. She is the worst!'' Evelyn said with irritating in her voice. But she didn't want to think about Zoe or Zenia anymore. Those twins drived her nuts. When she had gave him a kiss on the cheek the blonde looked at Rory's reaction. On his Rory's he reacted and it made Evelyn laugh. '' I'm sure you aren't doing that. '' The blonde said with a grin and winked for a moment. She loved joking around with Rory and perhaps she even flirted. But it was kind of their thing. She never really did it on purpose and when she was dating Noah she had only eyes for him. Rory tried to send her roses and stuff and the blonde had no idea what he was trying to do with it, but she thought he was just being himself in a kind way. How he spoke of her being charming lady, made Evelyn laugh. His accent and joking around was hilarious. '' But really.. Why sending me those roses every year? I almost start thinking you want something.'' the blonde said with a smile. The blonde already felt something better. She could smile and Rory made her smile. He was trying to be nice she figured in his own way. Deep down beneat all that behavior from him she thought he had a good heart. The thing Rory said about the muntant grindylow and a Veela was a kind thing to say. The blonde knew she was pretty and she was confident about her looks. She didn't easily felt insecure about herself, she was raised with being confident. '' That's kind of you thing right? I'm not giving up on Lucas you know. Maybe that is stupid and maybe it sounds strange. But I'm confident he has true feelings for me. He had them, they are not gone.'' The blonde spoke about her thought and feelings honest to Rory. People could tell her all they want that Lucas wasn't worthy of her but she thought differently. Lucas was her true love, she never had felt that before. And even now when he hurted her the most she still couldn't forget him. But he was still with Zoe. And Evelyn didn't want to be the badguy. She wouldn't desperatly beg at Lucas his knees. He had to come to her now. And the blonde had a feeling that he would. Now that he knew how she felt. '' But Rory you are really the best. You've made me laugh again. Thanks! You have a girlfriend right? She is pretty and seems really nice. Oh look there she is!'' the blonde saw a brunette walking in their way. She had saw Rory and the girl before together.

Rory thought he might remember the girl that Evelyn was talking about, but he could only think of her twin then. The one who'd been ridiculous about only dancing with her boyfriend. He nodded lightly in agreement with Evelyn, he didn't think he had any run ins with the other girl, the one Evelyn had problems with but they did still seem like they were the worst. The slytherin was also glad that she could play along with him. He laughed lightly at what she said, "Ach, ah just dae it cause it's fun, flirtings what we dae. Plus ye've never complained," he told her, he knew that he and Evelyn were on different paths when it came to partners, she was in love or deeply wanted a guy who wasn't Rory and Rory was technically dating someone else, though perhaps not for much longer, it would depend on how he felt, Therese was fun, beautiful and interesting, more so than Anabelle, but he was still growing bored.

Rory couldn't understand the idea or feelings that a person would have to not give up on someone else. It just seemed wild to him that that could even be an option or sentiment. He hoped that Anabelle was never like this towards him. He was sure he'd made his feelings clear to her then. "Well, ye'll know soon, ah promise ye," he got the feeling that saying such a thing to someone would cause them to think about their current relationship and how much they were into that. Maybe it would be by the end of the year, maybe it wouldn't be. He smiled at her charmingly and was glad to have made her feel better, even if their friendship was odd, he was loyal to his friendship with Evelyn and he did in a way care about her. "Aye, there she is," he smiled and gave a little wave, "Truth be telt, no really feelin' it, but she is a beauty," Rory waved at Therese and got to his feet hoping to go greet her. He did care about her, but no matter what it wouldn't matter, she wasn't pureblood and his father wasn't having any non-pureblood marry his son, so he didn't have a choice.

Therese was not believing how fast this year went. She felt like she could done more and especially for classes. Herbology still was her favorite subject and she didn't really put much effort for it. Therese liked to meet people and thought that experiance was way more interesting than classes. But she didn't want to let her parents down. They believed in her so badly, but they never seem to be dissapointed about her. Therese was also busy with dating Rory. Really dating with a boy was really intense. But Therese liked Rory a lot. They had been great friends ever since the meeting in Ollivanders where Rory had helped her with finding her wand. She never believed before that she would date him. Dating at all was new to her. But for her there didn't changed a lot. Spending time with Rory and now attending events as a couple, was only new. But Therese hadn't seen Rory in a while, he had his OWL's the brunette knew and figured he was busy with that. But she wanted to search for him and make sure he was okay. And that they were also. Rory was someone special for her and he had a place inside of her heart, and Therese had a big heart. When she entered the courtyard she looked out for any familliar faces. When she walked a bit further she saw Rory and a blonde girl. They seemed the same age. Rory was ofcourse older than she herself was. But age was nothing to Therese. She only looked to the people and their personalities. Therese had a gift for seeing good in everyone. Some people thought of her as naive, but she saw it differently. She noticed Rory waving at her so waved back and walked over to the two. Therese smiled as she arrived, walked over to Rory and gave him a small kiss. Therese looked than back to the girl. '' Hi there! Your Evelyn right? I'm Therese.'' The brunette said sweet to the girl. She had seen the blonde girl before and heard of her. Therese knew Rory had a lot of friends that were girls. She wasn't a jealous type at all. Therese only liked it that Rory had friends and that he was there for them. Therese looked over to Rory and went sitting on the bench next to them. '' How are things? Did you survived your OWLS?'' The brunette asked friendly to her boyfriend.
