MESSI Re-Launch MESSI, which stands for the Most Extraordinary Society for Social Interaction, is a group that existed in days past of HNZ, but we are bringing it back and hope you will consider joining!
Just to get us all to the same speed:
MESSI's goal has always been to focus on the Out of Character (OOC) aspects of HNZ, and this iteration is going to help us specifically focus on improving the onsite OOC aspects of HNZ.
As of this announcement, we are going to begin accepting applications to form a new group of members to help us, the site staff, on this mission.
We are hoping that whatever mix of people join, however, are looking to take ownership over ideas and see them through from start to finish with the staff offering support but not being at the forefront of all ideas.What's new:
Aside from the shiny new app, we are going to be introducing term limits to being a member. Everyone who is accepted will be a member for 1 IC year. Our hope is to make sure that whomever is a part of MESSI will be able to maintain their engagement level during this time. One of the issues we experienced previously was that over time there was less of a focus towards leading community involvement, and we are hoping that the term limits will help members to maintain their attention towards working together to see their ideas through from start to finish.
Once the IC year is over, applications will re-open and existing members will be encouraged to re-apply. For transparency's sake, we will always prioritize sharing the wealth and giving some priority to folks who haven't had an opportunity or who haven't had an opportunity in a while.

Your time. We will be expecting that whomever joins is willing to dedicate some of your HNZ time to discussing, planning, and aiding in implementing the ideas and seeing them through!
