After their win, April had wanted to push the team as far as she could. She really wanted to win the cup in her final year, and for that they had to beat Slytherin. Today's practice was going to be a little tricky, as it was very windy. That meant passing the Quaffle back and forth would be more difficult for the chasers, and she and Elliot would probably have more trouble finding the snitch too. She waited for the other players to arrive at the Quidditch pitch, holding her broom and the crate with all the balls.

OOCOut of Character:
Just arrivals now, but I'll probably open it tomorrow so we get to play a lot! Practice will be open for two weeks

As much as the idea of having another game made him nervous, Elliot was still cautiously excited about how well the team had done so far this year and was looking forward to their practices. He still wasn't certain he felt anywhere near ready to actually play, but it was still enjoyable to be out on the pitch with the team. Walking down for practice, Elliot gave April a friendly nod hello, repeatedly brushing his hair out from his eyes as the rest of the team assembled, eying the goal hoops uneasily as they swayed slightly in the wind.

Abian was excited about practice today. He would get to see Arvel again, which was always fun, and he liked hanging out with Analei too. He felt like they were the best chaser team ever, as they worked together better and better each time. He hummed to himself as he headed to the pitch, waving at the captain and Elliot as he waited for the rest to arrive.

Amy was a little worried when she arrived at the Quidditch Pitch and felt the wind. She didn't know if it would affect her flying, but crossed her fingers everything would be okay. She smiled at the others who had gotten there before her, giving Elliot a little wave. She hoped practice would go smoothly.

Patrick was looking forward to getting his head out of the books and practising quidditch with the team again. The team had been doing quite well so far and Patrick hoped that them practising would keep this up. He arrived to the pitch, his hair blowing softly in the wind as he waited for the practice to begin. It sure was windy, but that would not stop Patrick from trying his best.

Wendy shows up to practice clutching her broomstick. It was a little windy today, a bit of her hair went wavering to the breeze. "Hey, April! Hey, y'all," Wendy greeted the other members of the team. She can't wait to get up there, today she was going to practice her swinging the bat a little more. She was going to practice to perfect the position as beater so next year she can officially be a part of the team.

April greeted her team members as they arrived. She waited a little, and when they seemed to all be there she cupped her hands around her mouth as she addressed the team, trying to be heard over the noise of the wind. "Therese, guard the northern hoops. Chasers, try to score there. Me and Elliot will play against each other!" She called. Then she opened the crate to let the balls go free, passing the quaffle on to one of the chasers before taking to the air. "Good luck!"

OOCOut of Character:
Feel free to still RP arriving and joining in!

Arvel had almost skipped Quidditch practice that afternoon in favour of a nice long nap. Classes and practising for the duelling tournament had exhausted him, and he'd barely done any animagus training all week. But he was part of a team, and he couldn't let that team down, even if his presence didn't do very much to boost morale. He caught the quaffle and kicked off, heading toward the northern hoops.

Analei arrived with Arvel, feeling excited for practice. She listened to the instructions, nodding her head, before kicking off, following Arvel as he caught the Quaffle.

Arvel made a mental note of Analei's position in case he needed to pass to her before he reached the hoops.

April watched as the chasers started to work together. She grinned, they were a good team. She then turned and flew in the other direction in the hopes of seeing a hint of the snitch.

Abian watched as Arvel and Analei flew off, and he followed behind Analei, his eyes on Arvel with the quaffle. He hoped his friend would be able to start off the practice with a goal, as he knew that would be great for Arvel.

April flew around the pitch, trying to both focus on her own task and the team. She saw no sign of the snitch yet, but hadn't expected to this early on.

Elliot returned Amy's wave and gripped his broom tightly before April got practice going. Once the snitch was released, he couldn't help hesitating before kicking off, feeling the wind tug at his uniform and groaning to himself when both April and the snitch got a big head start. The wind was making it hard for Elliot to focus on hunting the snitch, his hands gripped tightly to his broom as the wind whipped past his ears.

Arvel barely slowed as he reached the hoops. He threw the quaffle towards the tallest one and just saw it sail through before he made a sharp one-eighty, grinning.

Abian cheered as Arvel scored, then flew over to him and gave him a high five. "Yes!" He said, then flew ahead to grab the quaffle from where it was falling. He tucked it under his arm and flew off to do a small loop.

April grinned as she saw Arvel scored a goal. She gave him a thumbs up, then resumed her search for the snitch.

After being in the air for a little bit, the wind was becoming more like white noise and Elliot was able to tune it out as he scanned the pitch carefully for the snitch. It was harder to avoid the persistent tug of the wind against his broom though, and Elliot found himself moving around the pitch even more cautiously than usual.

Analei cheered for Arvel when he scored, before following Abian as he caught the Quaffle again. She was happy that they all seemed to be working as a team.

Coming to a stop higher above the pitch, Elliot tried to get a lay of the land, though he mostly succeeded in just drifting slowly towards one of the goal posts. Frowning, he righted his broom, with still no sign of the snitch.

Abian noticed Analei following him and gave the girl a smile. But he wanted to try scoring himself this time. He flew up to the hoops and aimed for the left one. He beamed as it went through. "Yes!"

April was glad to see her chasers were scoring again, though it meant Therese needed to pay a bit more attention. She glanced over at Elliot and was relieved to see he didn't seem to be chasing the snitch yet.

Elliot glanced over at the hoops when he heard cheering, smiling at the chasers and catching April's eye nearby. He gave her a thumbs up before grabbing his broom again when it caused his balance to wobble a bit. Knowing April was still keeping an eye on him, Elliot resumed his search for the snitch, deciding to try and circle the pitch closer to the ground and maybe keep out of the wind a bit.

Amy hung behind the other Chasers, trying to get comfortable flying in the wind. They were doing well today, already scoring twice. She grabbed the Quaffle as it was thrown back into play, hoping to pass it to another Chaser.

While it was definitely easier flying out of the wind closer to the ground, there didn't seem to any sign of the snitch. Sighing and bracing himself, Elliot climbed high up, keeping alert for any glimpse of gold.
