Hufflepuff Quidditch Practice Y40/S1

Lucas still saw no sign of the snitch anywhere.

Felix felt like he had just let go of the snitch but a few moments later if flew past his head again and he raced after it. With one quick swipe he grabbed the snitch and held it up again.

René felt extra nervous when Blair grabbed the quaffle this time. He half wanted to let her score just in case it'd like her more, but maybe it'd look more impressive if he blocked her shot? He hadn't fully made up his mind when she approached the hoops, moving more on instinct to bat the quaffle away, hoping Blair wasn't too disappointed.

Tilly hit a whole lotta nothing.

Now that he could relax after for a moment after throwing the quaffle back out, René was surprised to realize that Felix had caught the snitch again. He hoped that boded well for their chances of the cup again this year.

Felix was feeling on top of the world after catching the snitch twice so close together but he kept up his search more carefree this time.

Rule 2

Blair caught the quaffle once it was back in game and went for the hoops again.

Tilly had started to think her early success with bludgers was just due to stupid luck. She knocked a bludger towards the chasers and hit no one.

Blair aimed for the hoops again and growled as her shot went wide again.

Lucas was a bit frustrated with Felix doing so well. He hoped to catch the snitch again soon, so he wouldn't look so bad in comparison.

This second round of practice seemed to be difficult for most. Tilly was convinced the quaffle, snitch, and bludgers were all conspiring against the Hufflepuff team. She hit a bludger and watched it sail across the pitch.

A bludger flew past him and he moved out of the way a bit, still looking for the snitch.

Felix continued to fly around the pitch looking for the snitch.

Lucas flew close to the other seeker, determined to get the snitch before him.

Tilly failed to hit anyone.

rule 2
Blair caught the quaffle again and hoped that at least this time she won't fail and will finally score. With Linden, everything was way better.

Lucas kept looking around for the snitch.

Blair aimed for the hoops again and failed again.

There was still no sign of the snitch, Lucas sighed.

After flying on a bit longer, Connor took a quick look at his watch. Sighing in relief, he grabbed the whistle around his neck and blew sharply. "ALRIGHT, THAT'S OUR TIME GUYS." He called out to the team. "Everyone hit the showers, I'll clean up here." He said, setting about summoning the balls and returning them to their case while the rest of the team disbanded.
