Gryffindor Quidditch Practice

willow kept looking around the pitch. trying to find the snitch but after its brief appearance, it had vanished again. she glanced down at the rest of the players and saw that Gabriele was taking the quaffle up the pitch. and a thud indicated that somewhere a bludger was being hit but it sounded far away so it was unlikely coming for her. a look down the pitch proved her theory as Jacob sent it into the nowhere.

Gabriel flew closer to the empty hoop and felt his heart going fast. Marcos was a member of his team so he just had an open goal. Seemed simple? The blonde threw the quaffle hard to the left hoop and cheered as it went through. He had scored as first and felt good. Glad that he did not miss the empty hoop and his aim was still good. He flew back and gave someone else the change of grabbing the quaffle.

Sierra continued to fly around the pitch, trying to keep her eyes focused away from the game and on looking for the snitch.

After Gabriel scored and the quaffle was thrown back into play Jess scooped it up and began to fly to the other side of the pitch so she would get a chance to try and score.

Willow was a little disappointed when Gabriel managed to score. She knew that it was a training match but she still wanted her team to win. even if they didn't have a keeper. She flew around looking out for the snitch. she saw a glint of gold near one of the hoops and flew towards it diving down to try and catch it but it danced tantalisingly in front of her before flitting out of sight.

Sierra kept looking for the snitch, following any golden glint she saw, but none of them were the snitch

Jess flew down the pitch and once she got close enough to the hoops she threw the quaffle but it was a poor shot and it was easily saved by the keeper. She was disappointed but she knew she would get another chance.

Lysander had kept his eye on the bludger that Jacob had hit, and dived his broom toward it as it traveled away. He swung his bat in an effort to try and hit it back toward the centre of the pitch, but aimed too high and missed entirely. Huffing to himself, he carried on searching for another.

Gwen tried to not let the events of the game distract her from finding bludgers to hit. She just wanted to do her best and hoped it would be good enough. When she saw a bludger she quickly flew towards it, concentrating hard as she swung her bat back and hit at it. It collided smoothly and Gwen had a wide smile on her face as it began flying towards @Willow Cullen .

Jemma grinned as Jessica failed to score. She darted forward to catch the falling quaffle before putting it back in play. She tucked it under her arm as she flew back down the pitch. Jemma tossed the quaffle through the far left hoop. She cheered as it went through.

Sierra couldn't help but look when she heard cheering, and was glad to see it was Jemma that had scored. YAY! Still, Sierra wanted to find the snitch first, so she tore her eyes away, and kept looking around the pitch for the golden ball.

Willow kept flying. lapping the pitch trying to find a glint of gold. she wanted to at least manage to catch it once. She kept her eyes open. then in a moment, she saw it hovering right behind one of the players as if hiding from her. she leaned forwards urging her broom towards @Jacob Kingsley she wasn't aiming to hit him or even aiming for him but she needed to be close as the snitch was right next to him. couldn't he see it. 30 meters it was still there 15 meters she reached out her arm. and then everything went wrong. "OOOFFFF" she grunted as she felt something collide with her side. knocking her sidewards almost making her crash into her beater. instead, she managed to keep hold and barrel roll managing to keep airborne but losing sight of the snitch.
Once she regained balance she looed to see where the ball had come from and saw @Gwen Owens-Lee looing her way. "Good shot, I am sure that will leave a good bruise tomorrow" she shouted before flying off in search of the snitch again.

All at once everything was happening. Willow was flying straight at him, but he also saw a bludger going straight for her so he was torn between saving her and saving his own skin. In the end, he tried to do a little of both and succeeded in little. He attempted to stop the bludger Gwen had hit, but missed and only just managed to get himself out of Willow's way. The girl was as tough as they got though, and Jacob grinned at her response. "Good job, everyone! Keep it up!" he declared to both sides. "We have 20 more minutes."

Their team wasn't doing too well. Jessica failed to score too, and then Jemma managed to score on the other side. Sure, it was a lot easier to score without a keeper, but it would be nice to at least manage once. Fleur grabbed the quaffle after Jemma's goal, and flew to the other side of the pitch where Marcos was hovering near the hoops.

Lysander watched the events unfold, almost forgetting for a moment that he was playing Quidditch instead of just spectating as he was used to while growing up. He sped toward the opposite hoops, looking out for a bludger he could hopefully distract Marcos with while Fleur had the quaffle.

Jacob wasn't having good luck at all. He swung at a bludger but completely missed.

20 minutes?! Sierra only had 20 minutes to find the snitch?! She panicked and did a lap around the field just Incase it was hiding somewhere

Willow could feel the place where the bludger had hit throbbing as she flew once again she rose high above the rest of the players and kept an eye out for the snitch but couldn’t see anything

Sierra continued to fly around the pitch looking for the snitch.

Willow kept flying. it seemed like Sierra was having even less luck than she was trying to catch the snitch. she flew up towards the other seeker "This snitch is one little bugger to find, isn't it? but you are doing great" she said as she started yet another look searching for it.

Sierra got such a fright as Willow flew close to her, she nearly fell off her broom. She laughed, nodding her head and agreeing with her. "Thanks Willow! You too!!" She said as the other seeker flew off. Sierra sighed, hoping she'd be able to find the Snitch before the practice was over.

willow kept flying. her eyes looking around. she was so focused on looking for the snitch she had lost track of what everyone else was doing. which wasnt the smartest idea as beaters could still be aiming bludgers at her. a quick scan showed that both blac balls were far enough away not to be too much concern but the gold ball was even further or atl east far out of sight. She cediced to take a left and fly to the edge of the pitch to see if that brought her any more luck.

Fleur flew up to the hoops and attempted to score again. But once again, Marcos managed to block her goal. She playfully shook her fist at him, then flew off so she could try again later.

Sander was doing his best to keep up with what everyone else was up to, or where they were, but his focus kept flitting back to the bludger he was following and he'd lose track of everything else. Finally catching up to it, the boy swung his bat and managed to give the ball a solid hit, though it spiralled off rather than towards anyone else.

Gabriel was satisfied so far. Both he and Jemma had scored once and the rest not. He knew Marcos was a good keeper and tried to focus only on the chasers not the rest. That way he was most focused. And when he saw Fleur missing again he flew close to Marcos and took posession of the quaffle once more and on his way to the other side of the hoops. Ready to score again.
