Gryffindor Quidditch Practice Y44 S1

Soren made it back to the hoops and did a duck and weave, managing to catch the keeper off guard and scoring a goal. He smiled, pleased with his success.

Rāwhiti was starting to get frustrated, wondering where his luck frmo his practices last year had gone.

Ruby flew into the sky, only to be whacked by a bludger immediately. She was fuming, the boy obviously didn't know what their captain meant by 'work as a team'. Ruby swung her bat at the bludger with all her might, but it soared past Santiago, plummeting into @Louis Alcott instead.

Louis was just giving Soren a thumbs up when the bludger hit him in the side. He hoped no one heard the undignified yelp that escaped him. He grunted, grabbing his broom tightly to steady himself. Then he caught the quaffle as it was thrown back into play.

Rāwhiti stayed focused as he flew on, determined to earn his spot as lead Seeker.

Ruby dodged a bludger that flew towards her, but wasn’t able to hit it at anyone.

Dahlia was kind of impressed at how good the snitch was at hiding.

Rāwhiti pulled lower again, hoping he'd have a better chance of spotting the snitch closer to the ground.

Louis flew up to the hoops and easily scored. He grinned.

Soren threw Louis a thumbs up as he scored before grabbing the quaffle and starting around again, keeping his eye out for the others.

Aurora missed the next bludger she was going for.

Rāwhiti kept an eye out, trying not to get discouraged so early on. There was plenty of time left to catch the snitch.

Soren smiled when he managed to score another goal.

Santiago swung and missed again.

Aurora was very frustrated as she continued to miss the bludgers.

Rāwhiti spotted a glimpse of gold and shot forwards in hope, but his spirits were quickly dashed as it flickered away before he could track it.

Aurora failed to hit anything.

Santiago couldn't find another bludger.

Rāwhiti kept flying in the direction he thought he had seen something, hoping the snitch would reappear.

aurora did not hit a bludger in any good direction to hit anything.

Ruby tried chasing a bludger but it was too fast for her.

Santiago saw another bludger and raced after it. This one felt better and it went right where he wanted it towards one of the seekers. @Raawhiti Te Rangi

Aurora did not hit a bludger.

Rāwhiti kept up the search, trying to keep his spirits high.

Aurora finally managed to hit a bludger and accidentally sent it right to her friend. "Sorry!" she shouted as it made contact.
@Soren Gates
