Louis was eager to get started with the new team. He knew Gryffindor was due to win the cup this year. He was sure he could make it happen. Their team was good, but they had replaced a few key players, like the seeker. The game against Ravenclaw was coming up, and it was important that they win it. It would be horribly embarrassing to lose against Ravenclaw of all houses. He waited for the team to arrive, then waved at them in greeting. "Hey everyone. For this practice, I'm not going to be making teams. We'll just be practicing our positions. Try to work together." He told them. "Good luck!"

OOCOut of Character:
seeing as the game is in a week, this will be a short practice. Just go straight into it and try to get as much done as possible!
 
Santiago was a little shocked when he had made the team. He knew competition was high but he had done well at try-outs and was eager to prove himself. He had never played a real game and was a little surprised at how little guidance they were given. But he did as he was told and took to the air. With a bat in hand he raced towards a bludger and hit it with all he had. To soared across the pitch and made contact with a familiar face. He shrugged in response and kept going. @Ruby Maeve Louw
 
Dahlia had been absolutely floored to make the team, even as an alt. Seeker probably wasn't originally her number one pick, but she did like that it was basically a starring role and her eyesight was pretty good if she said so herself, so she grinned excitedly at Louis when the training started and took to the skies, looking around to see if she saw that glint of gold.
 
Soren arrived to practice, and wanting to be more active, shot into the air as soon as they could, grabbing the quaffle and starting for the goals.
 
Santiago shifted the bat in his hand as he got more comfortable air and looked for another bludger to hit.
 
Dahlia didn't see the snitch yet, but she was also mostly warming up in the air.
 
Rāwhiti had basically been shaking with excitement ever since the teams were announced. He had known it was coming, but seeing it on paper was another thing all together. Rāwhiti Te Rangi, Seeker. He was in, and now he was going to show everyone what he was made of and win the cup for Gryffindor. He kicked off hard as practice started and shot into the air, ready for the snitch.
 
Soren made his way to the goals, but he rushed and threw off his shot. He chuckled and gave the keeper a thumbs up, hanging back to let someone else grab the quaffle.
 
Dahlia couldn't help but think that Fraser would have totally made that goal, but she turned her attention back to searching.
 
Not seeing anyone else, Soren swept in and grabbed the quaffle again before starting the loop again.
 
Santiago didn't have to wait long till he found another bludger. He swung a little too enthusiastically and his shot went wide and hit one of the chasers instead. @Soren Gates
 
Rāwhiti couldn't keep the grin off his face as he circled the pitch, looking for any sign of the snitch.
 
Amodeus walked by the pitch, absolutely not paying attention to the practice at all.
 
Soren went to make another shot when a bludger hit him, knocking him back a bit and throwing off his shot. He chuckled, taking a deep breath and rubbing his side. "Good one," He called to everyone in general.
 
Santiago swung at another bludger but missed this time.
 
Rāwhiti turned in an easy circle, eyes scanning the skies.
 
Dahlia kept looking around, keeping an eye out for bludgers since people were getting hit a fair bit already.
 
Soren, keeping his eye open for the others, grabbed the quaffle and started around again.
 
Santiago kept flying around but didn't see any bludgers.
 
Rāwhiti soared higher, wind rushing over his smile as he searched on.
 
Dahlia decided to fly lower, in case that worked.
 
Rāwhiti thought he saw the snitch up ahead and shot forward, but his eyes had been mistaken.
 
Louis had spent the first few minutes of the practice watching the team. Now he followed Soren closely.
 
Aurora got on her broom and flew up into the air looking for a bludger to hit.
 
Dahlia was yet to see the snitch, but she wasn't too worred.
