Hello everyone.
The Student Defense Association is holding their duelling tournament this semester. The tournament will be starting next week. and for a tournament to run well we need participants.
If your character is feeling competitive, wants to test out some new spells, or needs to let out some rage, this is the place to be. even better there are house points on offer. What is not to love.
Who can sign up?
Anyone HNZ student in their second year or above. You don't need to be a member of the SDA! Just put your name down and you will be paired with an opponent in your year.
How long does each round last?
Each round will run for seven days unless there is a victor before then. If the duel has not ended by the end of that round's week, a winner will be decided through RNG. Each participant has 24 hours to respond to their opponent, missing this window (even by a couple of minutes) results in your loss, so be sure to Watch your duels so you don't miss a response!
Where are the duels held?
In the duelling club duels form, of course. (it does exist inside the duelling chamber, and what better way not to overcrowd any RP's already happening in the duelling chamber) While you're there, be sure to read over the Rules and Points System. If you're still confused by anything, then definitely check out some of the duels in previous years! They're a lot of fun to participate in.
What do I win?
Points! And IC bragging rights and a winners badge. Each winner will receive 25 points, and the Champions of each year group will receive 50. Losers receive 5 points for trying
any disqualified participants will receive no points for the duel that they are disqualified in
With that said, begin signing up below! Just put down your characters name, house and year and either Donna or myself will add them to the list.
