Waving Another Year Goodbye
Ah, the end of the year... it's always so bittersweet! On the one hand, it means brand new firsties are just around the corner (yay!), but on the other, a whole year group is leaving HNZ. All students have now been promoted, and seventh years placed into the graduates group, where they will be able to continue RPing around the castle for just a little while longer.
We all saw it coming with that impressive last-minute points rush - Slytherin took home the Y43 House Cup!! Congratulations on the win, snakes
come and join the end of year feast to celebrate (or lament)!
Of course, with exams over, the holidays have begun, and all holiday areas are open to students once again. Let the family / vacation topics commence!
Finally, we'd like to say a big thank you to all of our professors for another year of hard work. We really appreciate your time and commitment to such a core part of HNZ!
Graduation
Speaking of graduation, the ceremony is taking place right here, right now! Come and check out Indira and Jordan's lovely speeches - and don't forget that invited guests can react in the guest topic and RP in the ceremony area!

It's a Month Long Party!
HNZ's birthday celebrations are far from over!! The Hunger Games and the Picture Challenge are well underway, voting has opened for the Emoticon Story Competition, and signups have begun for White Elephant and the birthday edition of Werewolf! And there's more still to come, so keep your eyes peeled
In case you missed it, we've also now got a date for the Discord Game Night - Saturday, May 27th 4:30pm (EDT). If you need an invite to the Discord server, let one of the admin know before then!

With sorting just around the corner, and birthday games in full swing, it's a busy time for the admin, and applications (save for general group changes and galleons requests) have been closed for a while. Keep an eye on the updates/announcement topic to see when they've opened up again! Thanks for your patience in these times!!

If you've been thinking you'd like a professor or a shopkeeper, head on over to the Application Centre! We've currently got two professor positions and two shopkeeper positions available, and you can read more about what they entail and how to apply for them by following the link above.

We're heading into a new year, and many of you will want new graphics for your characters! This is just a reminder to please spread out your requests as much as possible, especially if you're planning to submit more than two or three. Banners can take a while to make and a dozen requests amounts to hours of work, so spreading them out gives everyone a better chance at having their request filled. We've noticed that some of you have already begun doing this - so thank you!!
