Lemina ran from the stage, tears pouring down her face. She couldn't cope with this. Professor King was telling the prefects to gather their houses. Well, what is left of it... Lemi forced the dark thought from her mind. Njord may just be one Hufflepuff, but he was one of the nicest, kindest people she knew. Njord... And now he was gone. She couldn't cope. There was Violet and Rhyspa... Violet and Rhyspa. She had to find them, her other friends, make sure they were okay. Lemina couldn't let anyone else she was close to get hurt. If only she had volunteered to act in the play, maybe she would have been hurt instead of Njord.

The fourth year took a step back. She had duties, she knew she couldn't abandon them, but this was too much for her. The school was losing someone in losing Njord. Glancing around for the other Hufflepuff prefects, she couldn't see either of them, it was all too chaotic. She caught sight of one or two of her house and made a half-hearted attempt to gather them.

The stress and sorrow was going to her head. Lemina had to sit down.

Estrella couldn't believe the events that unfolded before her eyes. Njord was supposed to be injured- but this was entirely unexpected. She watched in dread as Njord was taken from the room, her heart lurching painfully. The Head Girl fought back tears as she tried to push through the crowds to get a better look. The rockets had come from this direction- but she had been too immersed in the play to pick out who was responsible. Feeling angry at herself and the student responsible, she choked back sobs and held her head solemnly. A tsunami of emotions was assualting her with no reservations, threatening to sweep her up and swallow her whole.

Onyx nodded sharply at the headmaster's announcement and with a last glance at the group she made her way tot he stage, weving between the students of various hosues, placing a hnad on their shoulder and whispering the occasioanl word of comfort to those that looked particularly overwhelmed, before finally arriving at the stage.

She stood by Nick, her eyes softening as she saw just how bad off he looked up close, and sighed, wanting to comfort him as she had their students just a few moments before. But neither of them were much for comfort and affection, sos he simply looked at him with her reasuring blue eyes and waited for him to let them know what was going on.

When the subject came up of reporting any suspicions, she would voice hers confidently, nearly knowing that it had to be them.

"Well Nicolas, where do we go from here?" she asked softly, feelign the other professors and staff memebrs file in around them.

She saw Kailey looking rather forlorn and looked to Nick then glanced at Kailey, hopign he would get the hint that the poor girl needed to be at Nord's side almost as much as his mother right now.

Everything happened so fast. One second, Arisa was showing Vivienne something in her bag that she couldn't quite make out. And then the next thing she knew, Arisa had gone, and an eruption of sparks was showering down on them. Vivienne screamed, thinking something had exploded. A bomb, perhaps?!

As she realised that the whizzing sound belonged to fireworks, she ducked her head, trying to keep out of their way. They were flying dangerously close, but Vivienne just had time to look up and see it happen.

A firework flew straight at one of the prefects on stage, hitting him square in the shoulder, and causing mulitple other fireworks to be set off. Vivienne's eyes widened, and her hands clapped other her mouth, to stop her from screaming again. She wanted to run up onto the stage. She wanted to do anything she could to help.

With the fireworks still whizzing around, Vivienne clung on to Kida, and frantically started turning her head, looking for Arisa. She needed to know that her friends were safe.

But then it hit her. Arisa had been nervous the whole time. Arisa had been glancing in her bag the whole time. Arisa had shown it Vivienne, but she hadn't seen. And then, Arisa had disappeared, just as the fireworks began. It was Arisa. It must have been. There was no other explanation coming to mind.

Vivienne began sobbing heavily as she looked back to the stage. The boy was still unconcious, possibly dead. And she could had stopped it. She'd always been an emotional person, but now, the tears flowed faster than ever before. Frozen in her seat, she continued crying uncontrollably, her whole body shaking heavily.

Andromeda remained outside in the corridor sorting students into their house groups as they came out. Restless she decided to go back inside to see if Bruin and the others needed her help. As she made it to the doors she had to stand back against them to allow a floating stretcher and a group of the professors to pass. She took one look at the student who she presumed was simply hurt. It was Njord but one look told her so much more. He wasn't hurt he was dead. She gasped and thudded hard against the door frame. No! How in the world? Whoever had set those fireworks off would pay and pay dearly. She didn't cry as she let the small group pass her by into the corridor. She held it together as she practically marched back inside. Kat was giving instructions and Andromeda went over to take hers. She may not be a prefect anymore but she was damn well going to help clean up this mess.

She saw Bruin and as much as he looked defeated and miserable she couldn't spare him a thought right then. If she stopped now, if she let herself think about Njord she would crack, she would have a serious melt down. That could wait until later. A memory flashed of him telling her she was the first friend he had made at the school. She pushed it back and took a deep breath. She could cry later, there was work to be done now. She rounded up as many Gryffindors as she possibly could and went to where Kat had said for them to meet up.

Kailey heard Professor King tell them all to gather their houses up and watched as Njord was taken out of the great hall to the Hospital wing. She started at the doors as they closed, but no matter how much she wanted to follow them and be with him she had to do her duty as a prefect. "Ravenclaws!" she shouted weakly, her voice low and hoarse, tears still rolling down her face steadily, not wavering, her breath shaking. "Ravenclaws over..." she paused as another sob shook her body. "Over here..." she ended not able to find her voice any longer.

Professor King looked to Onyx then to the few other Professors gathered. After a moment he looked out over the mass of students only starting to get sorted out. "Ms. Midnight, could you help gather up houses whose prefects are too emotional to be able to so we can move on quickly?" He enquired in a low tone, his headache becoming even more present with the raised lights in the hall and the added noises of the students.
Nicolas sighed, he then asked the few professors who had made it to him to excuse him a moment before hoisting himself on to the stage and standing up. He cleared his throat and without the aid of magic raised his hand in the air and bellowed for silence. After a few moments the hall quieted down and Nicolas spoke once more, "I've asked your prefects to gather you together by house. I know this is exciting and quite emotional but please remain calm and quiet. Move to where your prefects are calling you and soon enough you will all be back in your dorms."

"Right away, sir." she said with a curt nod, her eyes softening even more as she saw a flash of pain in his eyes,"Ah, Professor. Could Miss Paramore be excused to the infirmary? She was onstage during the incident so I doubt she'd need questioning and I think she'd rather prefer being by Mr. Aesir's side right now....." she said, truly concerned for the poor girl's welfare now. Kailey was toddling weakly about the hall with a tear stained face and a sob-choked voice.

Once she recieved her answer, she went about the duties given to her, aiding the Ravenclaw prefects as Gryffindor and Hufflepuff seemed under control. And it didn't seem as if too many slytherins had attended the performance, and Miss Paramore seemed the only Ravenclaw besides Estrella in the place.

"Come along, Ravenclaws over here. Get into your groups, loves." she called out, once they were all gathered she went about the room, to see if anyone needed anymore help.

Aeon sat frozen in his seat, unsure of what was going on. Everyone was screaming and shouting and the noise was just too much. He hadn't been paying much attention to what was happening before, Though something seemed out of place. Slowly he got to his feet, Then saw what was wrong. One of boys was laying on the stage, possibly dead. Then there was sobbing from close by, Aeon turned his head to see Vivienne with Kida. "Viv! Kida!" He called, moving over to them. "What on earth just happened?" He asked them, giving a quick glance at the stage.

Taylor had been watching the show, half asleep. She hadn't been sleeping well lately, though it was probably due to the fact her sister said she was leaving Hogwarts. Taylor jumped in her seat, as there was a loud bang, and a flash of light. She screamed, and looked around franticly. "Wha-?" she said to no-one in particular. She looked around and saw people running around, and panicking. Tay stayed in her seat, looking around franticly.

She looked at the stage, and saw a boy lying there. She wasn't quite sure if this was part of the act, but it didn't look like it. Tay watched, wide-eyed, as the boy was lifted off the stage. This was no act!

Taylor got up, and tried to find her friends , and trying to gather her scattered thoughts. She found Vivenne and Aeon, and some other people she knew, and went over to them. "Wha-" she said again. "What happened?" she almost shouted.

Vivienne continued to shake, heavy sobs rolling throughout her. She heard Aeon's voice, but was unable to form a cohesive sentence in reply. "Arisa.. Arisa.." she cried, her eyes still glued to the stage, her body glued to the chair.

She heard yet another voice, she presumed it was Taylor's, but she didn't see. Continuing to chant, "Arisa.. Arisa..", Vivienne's voice began to border on hysterical. As she cried even harder, a final firework flew past her ear, causing her hair to blow onto her face. The sparks twirled around in a beautiful, yet now horrific way, and died out not far from her feet.

Taylor moved over to Vivenne, and placed her hand on her shoulder. "Is Arisa okay, Viv?" she asked, a slight urgent tone in her voice. "Do you know what happened?" she asked quietly. She was terrified, more than she had ever been before, but she knew she had to be calm. She looked around for Arisa, and blinked, then looked back at Viv.

Lily was still on her knees next to Njord's body when the professors moved him to the hospital wing. Tears were streaming down her face still. She had never witnessed anything like this, and it started to make her angry. She wiped her cheeks and rose to her feet. She moved over to where Estrella and Kailey were gathering their house together. "RAVENCLAWS! LET'S MOVE! OVER HERE NOW!!"

She could feel the anger rising up inside her. This was more than she could handle. Lily needed to take it out on something or someone and soon before she exploded. She moved a bit away from the other Ravenclaw prefects and took out her wand. She quickly waved it at an empty chair, and yelled "Reducto!" and watched as the chair blew up into a million little pieces. A small smile started across her face, and she turned and blew away another chair. Suddenly she looked up to see a younger student staring at her with his mouth open wide. She glared at him and crossly spoke, "Where are you supposed to be? MOVE!" She turned and moved back to where the Ravenclaws were gathering.

Aeon sighed and shook his head. "Taylor, You stay here with Viv and calm her down, I'll go and find Arisa." He said, turning around to try and spot her. Eventually he saw her at the front, curled up and crying. "Arisa!" He called, moving swiftly over to her. "Arisa, What happened?" He asked, putting an arm around her to try comfort her.

Arisa heard Aeon's voice as he put his arm around her. She sobbed even harder, how could she tell him what she had done. "its all my fault" she managed to finally choke out, it was just loud enough that only Aeon could hear here. She wasn't ready to tell anyone else yet but for some reason she felt comfortable here in his arms.

When Lily stormed over yelling for the Ravenclaws to get over there Kailey got up the effort to give another attempt at it. "Raven... Raven..." she attempted weakly, her voice still cracking as she trailed off, her heart wasn't in it. Or even in this room, it was with the boy that was now in the hospital wing, more than likely dead.

"Hey hey, Calm down, It's okay. What was your fault." Aeon said to Arisa, holding her tighter. "Just take deep breaths and tell me, from the start, what happened." He continued, hoping his voice wasn't drowned out by the older students shouting for their houses to gather, He should probably find his, But he had to look after his friends first.

After hopping back off of the stage down to the main level of the Great Hall Professor King nodded to Onyx. "I suppose she can leave, though the nurses, Freya and Cecily may not let her stay in the hospital wing." Nicolas agreed before turning back to the crowd. Putting his wand back to his throat he spoke once more, he could understand the hysteria of some of the students but they needed to settle down or nothing would progress. "SILENCE!" Boomed the voice of Professor King through the Great hall, echoing once or twice before he deemed it quiet enough to speak. "Nobody is leaving this hall until I'm satisfied that everybody else is safe and we know that everybody is accounted for. Now I'm sure you all want to leave as quickly as possible so your co-operation is key." Nicolas paused after this to ensure everybody had understood what he said, "Any student not with your house go to your house's group now." He ordered in conclusion, hoping that they would all finally settle down and co-operate.

Arisa jumped when she heard Professor Kings voice. She didn't feel like telling Aeon anything right now so she looked around the hall for where the Hufflepuffs were gathered. Once she found them she dragged her self out of her chair "I'll tell you later, i promise" she said so quite he might not of heard her. She shakily made her way over to the Hufflepuffs and sat in a chair curled up once more.

Kailey nodded gratefully as she was told she could leave to go see Njord. Once she was out of the hall she was running, she didn't know what she would see or if she would even be allowed in once she got up there. But she would face it all if it meant being with Njord.

Kat was still gathering Gryffindors when the booming voice of Professor King sounded throughout the Great Hall. She glared daggers at a few first years who felt the need to continue to speak after silence had been ordered from everyone and when they continued she cleared her throat to get their attention and tapped the end of her wand in her opposite hand and then laid a finger on her lips in a gesture that meant for them to zip it.

Out of the corner of her eye she caught someone running out of the hall. It was Kailey. Kat's heart sank to the pit of her stomach. She knew that her friend was going to be shattered if Njord was in fact dead. Oh no...WHY? was all she could think as tears filled her eyes, her heart breaking for Kailey and her loss.

"Gryffindors please over here now." Kat yelled out trying to make sure that they were all at least attempting to follow directions. Afterall, Professor King was right...the faster they cooperated the faster they would be able to head to the common room and try to sort this out.

Kalif managed to fight through the crowd, before finally reaching the other staff and professors. He stopped in front of them, and gazed over the hysteria going on. He had a calm, blank expression upon his face. Kalif did not wince at the sound of Professor King's booming voice. Kalif folded his arms across his chest. He had no idea what to say or do, and felt quite frustrated about this.

Lily watched heartbroken as Kailey ran from the hall. She knew that if Njord was in fact gone it would be hardest on her. She turned back to her duties. Most of the Ravenclaws were gathered together, and she glared at the few that were continuing to talk. "Knock it off already!" she cried at them, a bit too harshly, but at this point she did not care. Lily wanted to get this over with as soon as possible. She needed to find out what happened with Njord. She needed to know that he was okay.

As Professor King's booming voice hit Vivienne's ears, she was immediately knocked out of her hysteria. Rising slowly, she motioned for her friends to follow. Her face now stained from the many tears, Vivienne stumbled slowly over to the group of Hufflepuffs already standing in the corner of the room. Trying to put on a brave face, she failed miserably; waving again to Kida and Taylor to go to the Gryffindor corner. No matter what thoughts Vivienne tried to busy herself with, her mind kept wandering back to the same thing. She could have stopped it.

Belle was stunned. She could not believe that this was happening, let alone to one of her own. She moved to where her house was gathering and started to do a quick head count. It looked as though the students that were in attendance at the performance were all accounted for. She kept a close eye on them while she waited for further instructions from Professor King. She hoped to spot someone acting in a way that would give away who was responsible for this.
