All Fun and Games (Audience)

Isabella looked behind her when she heard a bunch of rather annoying chit chat between some first years and immediately noticed the little Hufflepuff girl who had gotten on her nerves at the garden and gave them all a cold glare that said 'be quiet' before she turned her attention back to the red velvet curtains separating her from the stage, which is where she so wanted to be. She saw her best friend Alyssa come in and waved her over to sit next to her.

As soon as the lights dimmed and the audience quieted down, Isabella grew excited and leaned up in her chair, pulling out her glasses and slipping them on in the darkness so she could see the actors clearly. Her mouth dropped when the first actor on stage was none other than Mike! After watching him start the play and the other Prefects follow along, Isabella couldn't help but grin. Seeing Mike act onstage with such confidence made her see him in a different light. She admired his confidence in himself, something he hadn't yet seemed to show whenever he was around her, and she couldn't help but be attracted to that! Isabella smiled to herself, glad that it was dark otherwise someone would see her blush, and watched the play with eager eyes and more enthusiasm than she started with.

Vanessa walked into the great hall and saw that it was totally transformed. She had not been assigned a specific seat so she went down to sit a seat across from some girls that she recognised, although they probably couldn't recognise her. She hadn't been at school much this year, as her mum had needed some help with some things. She was wearing the dress that she had meant to wear for the ball, but had been away and had not had the chance to flounce it. Waiting for the show to start, she started chatting with the girls beside her.
"Hey, I'm Vanessa, also known as Van. I'm not sure if you remember me?! I'm in Slytherin."

Isabella smiled as she entered the great hall, marvelling at how brilliant the entire place looked. She saw Bruin and walked in his direction to get to a seat.
"Great job" she whispered before taking a seat a bit further away. She had only been sitting a moment when the curtain raised and a banner with the title of the play floated across the stage. It was the first event that she was attending since she returned to the school and she was surprisingly looking forward to this. A surge of relief flooded through her as she noticed what others were wearing. Isabella herself had put on a simple satin cream dress that came just above her knees, showing off her slender long legs whose dainty feet were clad only in a matching pair of satin cream pumps. A silvery crocheted mesh cardigan finished off her ensemble and her long curly silvery blonde hair was pulled up into a rather becoming chignon. She closed her eyes for a moment, imaging James beside her and wished the two were sitting here together watching this instead. The school was great and she was settling in slowly but she knew it would be so much easier if he were with her.

Hoshi was wondering where her friends where. The play would be boring without them. Or maybe not. The what looked like accidental red head of Arisa came into view from where she was sitting. So did the head boy Bruin. She could sort of tell he was looking so Hoshi put her fingers to her lips, making it look like she was blowing him a kiss then sat back looking like she was really enjoying the show. She was really but the girl with pink hair had something wrong with her. Hoshi may like to put her hair in crazy colors but she would never for the life of her dye her hair pink. It was a blasphemy on all other colors in her opinion and it only looked good on human skin.

Hoshi's eyes wondered the stadium again hoping to catch a glimps of her friends who she had saved seats for. They had to come with her. She would be coverless if they didn't. Hoshi tapped her heeled sandal on the ground in front of her. Impatient for them to be here so she could have someone to talk to. Still the play was interesting to watch.

Scorpius had remembered that he and his friends had talked about going to go see the play and while he was up in his dorm room, he looked down at his watch and noticed the play was about to begin. Scorpius shoved on his shoes and hurried down the steps of the tower, and arrived at the Great Hall out of breath. Instantly, he noticed Hoshi's orange hair calling his attention so he grinned and walked over to her. He took a seat beside her and looked around, noticing that no one else had arrived yet. "Wow, am I really not the last one?" he asked her jokingly. He gave her a quick hug and asked jokingly, "So where's the head boy to keep an eye on you?"

He quieted down once the play started and watched with amusement when it seemed that they were making fun of the first years...his friends if he wasn't mistaken. He squinted as he noticed the platinum blonde girl on stage and finally realized it was Luna's older sister. His eyes widened again in amazement, thinking Wow, her costume is really good.

Sam threw on a shirt and a pair of jeans when he realised the time. He had benn on the Quidditch Pitch and had completely lost track of time only to realise that the play started in less then five minutes. Sam was never late for anything- well amost anything. Running into the great hall he spotted Hoshi and Knight? He knew he was late when Knight had shown up before him.

Walking over to them he said, "Sorry guys." He took a seat beside Scorpius. "Wheres everyone else?" he asked them looking back at the door to check if there was any sign of them. He turned to face his friends again and said in a hushed voice, "Ok guys I was thinking after the show, we go down to the forest, since we haven't gone down yet- the three of us I mean." Sam remembered their promise to each other on the train. "The prefects are in this show and I am presuming that afterwards there'll probably be a party...so we're sorted. What d'you guys think?"

Once the play started Sam sat back and watched. He didn't know much prefects only Violet and Zazuka. But they were really on a first name basis.

Hoshi pointed her finger in the direction of the head boy. "He's over there." She said leaning over after she Scorpius a quick hug. "I think the girl in the pink hair is sopped to be me but I'm not so sure." She said laughing softly. Now that he was here he could testify that she was here with her friends and that she had nothing to do with things that might go on. Hoshi laughed softly at the girl that was trying to act like she was scary but Hoshi could see though her. She uncrossed and recrossed her legs so the other could tap softly in the air near Scorpius. "This maybe funner than I thought." She said with a slight smirk on her lips. She looked up as Sam came into view. "Yeah sure Sam." She said with a nod. She hadn't gone into the forest with them yet but she had been there alone many times.

Alyssa turned to give glare to the first years that were chatting loudly behind her. The prefects had been working on this play for while and she didn't want all their work to get ruined by first years. Actually from what Alyssa had heard the whole play was about the firs and their stupid pranking problem.

'Those little brats better not ruin Slytherin's chances of winning the house cup. Otherwise I'll deal with all of them myself.' Alyssa wasn't prepared to have Slytherin lose for another year. But the first years definantly wern't go to help the house at all! They needed to see that maybe one prank was alright. But doing as many as they were, and giving everyone the attitude's that they have been was not alright.

Turning back around Alyssa tried to paid her best attentin back to the play that was being put on .

Hoshi raised her eyebrow. Who did Barbie think she was? Hoshi turined to Sam and Knight then smirked. She had an idea but she knew she would get caught here. Later though. Much later she had plans with her friends after the show. She placed a finger to her lips to show that they should be quiet for now. They did not want to call attention to themselves.

Estrella had been disappointed to find out that Cyndi was sick. Confident, however, that she and Bruin could handle any problems alone, she found her way from behind the stage, careful not to step in the light, and wandered into the audience. Taking a seat near some younger Slytherins, she watched the play. The prefects were doing rather well. Hopefully, the night would go smoothly, and the only people in trouble would be the characters on stage.

Andromeda was enjoying the play but felt rotten that she wasn't up there with them or helping out behind the scenes. She knew it had been her own fault that her prefect status had been revoked, she couldn't help what or who she was any more than the phases of the moon could help its effect on her. She had noticed Bruin and Estrella enter and patrol about keeping a close eye and wondered if it had just been that both had been so busy to notice her or were they keenly disappointed that she was no longer in possession of her badge, that they chose to simply ignore her.

Slinking deeper into the seat, she wished the ground would just open up and swallow her. If it took her the rest of the semester she would do her best to make it up to everyone for her behaviour or lack of it. It was then she noticed the girl on the stage with the vibrant pink hair and another image flooded her. One of Andy pouring butterbeer over Kale Thomas' head and yelling awful things about himself and Lily for everyone at the party to hear. She didn't know her very well but she certainly hadn't deserved that. She slipped deeper down, any minute she'd find herself a puddle on the floor wilted with embarressment.

She would have to get Lily somehow on her own or with others, at this point it didn't matter. Lily didn't know about her condition, she just knew that she had been accused of rolling around the kitchen floors with Kale. Andy's cheeks flamed at the memory of her abusive outburst. She wasn't quite ready to apologise to Kale but Lily she was. Determined that before the week was through she would have made her peace with the older girl, Andy watched the rest of the play with a little more difficulty having slunk a little too far into her seat.

Bruin continued to survey the audience as the play continued. A little confrontation between a group of girls and some younger students appeared to flare up briefly, but it appeared that Estrella had chosen a seat not far from them and it looked as though things had settled down almost as quickly as they had emerged.

The theatre wasn't particularly well lit and Bruin's eyes fell upon a girl who appeared to be slunk down in her seat. He took a more careful look in case the girl was attempting not to be seen doing something mischievious, but then Bruin recognized the girl as Andromeda. He hadn't seen her much at all this year after having gotten quite used to regular chats with her throughout much of the past few years and felt a bit of regret at having not made more of an effort to bring her out of her self-imposed exile. However, he knew that she had been going through a difficult transition with her unique "condition" and had hoped she would come around when she was ready.

Everything appeared to be going smoothly so far and Bruin hoped that the rest of the evening continued this way. He just hoped that the younger students didn't think of the whole play as being a little too preachy and resent the Prefects for simply trying to get them to tone it down a bit. On the other hand, maybe they needed this not-so-subtle message and Bruin didn't really care what they thought of him anyways as long as they learned at least a modicum of respect for the school and the rest of the students.

Arisa looked in her purse checking the rockets, this seemed like a good time to set them off but she was scared, she hadnt gotten in trouble yet this year and this was major. What if someone got hurt? Kida still had scars from being burnt and Arisa didnt want that to happen to anyone. She also didnt want Hoshi to think she was a chicken, she decided to wait just a little longer.

Taylor slipped quietly into the hall, the play had already started and she felt guilty she was late. Noticing Hoshi instantly by her hair, she was sitting with what seemed to be Sam and Knight. Walking swiftly down the rows she slipped in a seat next to her friends. "Hey guys sorry im late." She said as quietly as she could. She had noticed a girl sat in front of them turn around and glare on her way here, she didnt want to disturb the girl again. She turned her head and tried to pick up on anything she might have missed before she arrived

As Vivienne sat, watching the play, she noticed Arisa glance into her purse a few times, with an anxious look on her face. "Uhh Arisa? What's up.. you're not hiding a dragon egg, are you?" she said, in a parental tone. Vivienne looked around, as she noticed a lot more people arrive. The room was really starting to fill up. When the girl from the gardens gave her a stern look, Vivienne gave an embarassed smile and returned her attention to the play.

Arisa laughed quietly at Viv "haha, no" She sighed. She quickly showed Viv what was in her bag. Hoping no one else saw Arisa closed her bag again and looked on stage, it was the final act, if she was going to do this she had to do it very soon. She began to panic, do the prank and some one could get hurt? or be called a chicken for the rest of her life.

Hoshi nodded at Taylor as a way of a hello. She would be getting her small revenge later. There was plenty with which to do so on her alone. Who came all dressed up to a play? The again this was definetly the Glam Squad that she saw around from time to time. If anything she would have thought that Toni would have been hanging around with bimbos like them and not her friends. Hoshi could only hope they took her in so that she could leave her and Jenna alone. She watched. Third act and Arisa hadn't stuck yet. Was she getting cold feet about this? Hoshi came here to see a show. Her kind of show.

Scorpius heard Prince's offer to go to the Forbidden Forest after the play. He had only been there once alone, where he ran into an older Slytherin girl, Abbey, but that trip to the forest hadn't been a very fun one. He hoped going with his two best friends like they had been talking about since they first met, would be a lot more fun and adventurous. He had stayed out of trouble for too long already anyway. He nodded enthusiastically at Prince's suggestion but didn't say much else because people were looking at them again.

Kida had completely tuned out from everything around her, she came back into focus and looked at Arisa "Sorry, what did you want to talk to me about" she said Cracking her fingers slightly

Arisa turned around to see Hoshi looking at her. "nothing Kida" Arisa said pulling the first few rockets out of her purse and hid them behind her back. She quietly went to the back of the room and set the first ones off into the higher up seats. She then quickly ducked under the seats and crawled to the front. She took a deep breath and set off the rest of them near the stage before quickly ducking back under the seats. She was hoping everyone would be distracted long enough that she could get out of the great hall. She made her way to the other end to the doors and looked back at everything that was going on before quickly leaving.

Hoshi clapped softly. "Well done." She said with a slight cackle in her voice. They couldn't blame it on her and Arisa had vanished so there was no blame to be had. She knew that the Head Boy was keeping an extra close eye on her and her friends also that she didn't know that much magic she couldn't have set them off. Hoshi sank back in her seat and smirked at her friends feeling like she had just won the house cup. She knew that would never happen for her but still it was nice to dream like that.

Isabella was enjoying the show tremendously, she couldn't remember having enjoyed herself quite so much since the day herself and James met up again. As she finished clapping a sudden noise startled her, it grew louder until she thought her ears would explode. A spark landed on her shoulder and she jumped up in fright. Patting her shoulder and yelling. Standing up now she came face to face with what appeared to be rockets shooting about the place. At one point she had to duck as another one took off in what seemed like an explosion. She would have to move and fast but she couldn't just leave the rockets blast their way about the auditorium.

This was obviously another prank by the first years she had heard about and yet she hadn't seen anything, though she was only two rows from the rockets. Taking out her wand she tried to keep herself low down as sparks flew out landing here and there from the rockets.
"Aguamanti" she shouted as she stood up once more pointing her wand in the general direction that the rockets were shooting off in.
She needed help to contain this but knew she wouldn't have to wait for long. Bruin and Estrella were also in the auditorium and were bound to follow the racket.

Andromeda heard the loud hiss and pop of the first rocket as it shot up just yards from where she was. The noise startled her and a small gasp and yelp escaped her as she turned her head away with her arms covering her.
What in the world was going on? Who in their right mind would set off rockets? The first years of course! She attempted to get up but she was pinned in to her row of seats. The flurry of rockets was literally nearly upon her. Whoever had done this would pay she fumed as she took her wand out and send red warning sparks into the air. Hoping the professors and prefects who hadn't heard the commotion would at least see the magical SOS signal.

Freya watched as the sparks flew and the audience scatter. Those damn pranksters... she mumbled as she ducked out of the way from some sparks. Suddenly she looked up to the stage to make sure Njord was okay and saw as her beloved son was hit square in the shoulder and chest by one of the rockets he was carrying for the play. Her face was frozen in a scream, though no noise came out. She quickly bolted for the stage, knocking past students and Professors on her way to her son.

Cecily was on her way back in from visiting the loo when she came upon pandemonium. Students were shouting and she watched in horror as Njord was hit by a flying object and went down hard. Her blonde head swiveled as though in slow motion as Freya bolted past her. No...oh no. She battled her way through the crowd toward the stage. As she spun toward it she flung her wand out and sent her patronus to Nicolas with an urgent message explaining the situation to him. Knowing he was ill, she wasn't sure how long it would take for him to appear. Her lips quirked sadly as she followed Freya. The man she loved was nothing if not tenacious though. She knew he would be here soon and comforted herself with that fact.
