Hii!! It's that time and BOY I'm excited this year :party:

Speaking of boys, I'm sorting a couple and I really want to plot with y'all, so without further adoooo....


THE CHARACTERS

Freddie Lagowski (11 years old)​

Freddie here is Susie's younger brother. Like Susie, he can nap pretty much
anywhere, but that's where the similarities end. Freddie has struggled to
adapt to his new life after his mother went missing when he was five. He's
academically gifted but struggles to engage with schoolwork; he'd much
rather play the guitar or go out and play in the woods. He feels smothered
by his family and can't wait to get to Hogwarts and become more independent.

Freddie is ambitious, empathetic, quiet, and enjoys routine. He's not unkind,
per se - in fact his empathy can make him quite compassionate. However,
he's slow to trust and tends to act in his own interests above anybody else's.​

Asa Physwick (11 years old)​

Asa is Ondine's little brother and comes from quite a peculiar family. Adopted
by Ernestine Physwick at the age of 9, Asa is still adapting to his mother's
and sister's eccentricities. He lives in a huge old house in rural Yorkshire,
where his mother does... slightly macabre work and keeps many books and
animals. He's quickly developing an interest in biology and chemistry, which
is likely to translate to a love for potions once he arrives at Hogwarts.

Asa is a people-pleaser. He's talkative, anxious, and diplomatic. Around
trusted friends, he's likely to open up, but it will be a while before he
learns to stand up for himself.

I am sooo flexible on these plot ideas, please feel free to suggest new things, change things, brainstorm, etc!! These are just ideas to maybe kickstart some group plotting. The more people in each thread the merrier. I will probably make them all open topics regardless as well.

I have four first years incoming and two professors.

in terms of friends for Freddie, I could see Taylor or Lewis enjoying his company. If they're in the same house, that works out even better.

As for authority figures, I have Marigold who's fairly strict, especially at the moment!
 
Hey Claire!

I love how you did this PD and both your boys seem great!

For Asa, I want him and Arachne to be friends. They already have a bit of a moment in the bookstore and I'd like to explore that more I don't know if it really fits in your pretty table unfortunately, as I don't see her being part of the group friendship (fun as that game sounds) but it would probably give him an automatic enemy in @Nessie Westwick as a bonus?

I also love the idea of a group playing paranoia :r I think someone like Rouge would be down to participate, if I can get her away from her siblings on the train (She's NPC following Ro in the topic with Freddie right now).

I could also see Ares and Freddie being enemies. Ares would definitely fight if he thought he was entitled / more deserving / saw something before he did, so I could offer him up to be involved in some clash of stubbornness xD
 
I have one incoming firstie, Isla Warrick and she'd so be down for a game of paranoia.

Taylor / Lewis / Freddie - I'm down to find out!! maybe one or both of them could be part of the sticky situation group plot??

For that, I was thinking something like, the kids getting totally lost in the forbidden forest and it starts getting dark, or accidentally somehow getting themselves locked/trapped in a room somewhere (maybe they upset a portrait door?), orr trying to climb the inside of the quidditch stands (like a race) and someone gets hurt. But yeah just spitballing ideas if that inspires anyone!!

Arachne / Nessie / Asa - I loove Asa and Arachne's RP hehe, and a bonus enemy sounds great!! I think Asa would need everyone to get along and probably make increasingly desperate attempts to win Nessie over (whether successful or not) :lol: do you guys want to do something with all 3 of them? Can we get spiders involved somehow??

Freddie / Ares - yeah I can totally see these two clashing xD (fight, fight, fight). Do you want to introduce them before Hoggies or wait til they arrive? Freddie making an enemy before he even steps foot in the castle feels pretty in-character but I don't mind either way

Paranoia game - yaay, I'll start this topic ASAP and link it here! Everyone who wants to join, feel free!

Maybe after they're sorted we see where things land, but I can imagine Asa trying to talk to Arachne and then Nessie joining?

Oh yeah he'll definitely go say hi as soon as he can!! So that would work hehe. Let's see where they all end up!!
 
I have two options for Freddie and the last book in the library. (both first years)

First, Ivara - but only if it's a book about frogs. She will be very combative about getting it though, so that could add to the humour or to the drama.

Secondly, Jun - he likes books, the only problem is he might be overly diplomatic about it (but secretly be really annoyed on the inside) so it might not be a full confrontation or fight.

Let me know if either of those work!

Hi Sarah!! :D

Hahaha, hilariously frogs are a sore spot for Freddie, but that gives me an idea. I think I can come up with a reason for Freddie to REALLY want to get his hand on that book before she does =))

I can start it - are you happy for me to godmod that they both reach for it at the same time?? Or did you have something else in mind? ^_^
 
Hi Clairey!
Freddie and Priyanka they live in the same house and they are almost the same. She likes to play the piano, she likes to play it when she is in a bad mood or when she is stressed out.

Hi Daina!! Ooh I'm down to do something with them - Freddie is gonna have to get used to playing acoustic so he'll be in the arts room quite a bit. Did you want to do something set there?
