Adorah was feeling a little more excited about proctoring the second round of dueling. She waited until the opponents were ready and then gave them a smile. "One of you go to that side and the other over here. You'll bow and then start. The person who wins will advance to the next round. Begin!" she said.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponent's post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitor's post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

Huw'a first duel had been a bit of a disaster for his opponent that it hadn't really been a duel at all. It had given the Ravenclaw an easy pass to the next round which he wasn't sure he deserved. He faced his opponent with an uneasy smile, bowed then cast "Stupefy!

Her last round with Rine had been pretty hard fought, and she had been proud of both herself and of her friend for getting as far as they had, it was nice to support each other. She was glad she didn't have to face that stupid boy though, thanks to Huw - he'd saved her from that at least. She didn't know why Julian disliked her, but she was beginning to dislike him in equal measure, so she supposed it was a balanced dislike now. She bowed to Huw and then quickly cast, "Protego!" before also trying for "Expelliarmus!"

Huw's spell was blocked which meant he was already further into a duel than he'd ever been before. He sort of forgot though, that it meant a spell would be sent back to him, "Stupefy! He cast confidently, expecting to block the next attack. He quickly realised his mistake when he sent out a stunning spell then was disarmed. Bollocks!

Christa was confused, she felt Huw's spell hit her shield and had expected that he too would have shielded since it was like the first spell they ever learned, not quite, but definitely up there. At least in terms of defense anyway. She didn't understand how she'd just knocked his wand out of his hand and so she kind of just stared at him in disbelief.

Adorah watched as the duel ended quickly and gave Huw a sympathetic smile. "Unfortunately, we cannot start over. Ms. Langley is the victor," she declared.
