Adorah had never been one for dueling. She still struggled to process how she had let herself be recruited to help proctor, but here she was, trying out new things since Noel was gone for the year. The professor stood near the platform as she looked at the two duelers and gave them a soft smile, excited to watch a non-student match. "One of you go to that side and the other over here. You'll bow and then start. The person who wins will advance to the next round. Begin!" she said.

The duel begins now. You have 24 hours from this to post your first reply, or face disqualification. Once both duelists have posted, you will have 24 hours from your opponent's post to reply, or be disqualified. Ensure that you use the spell list for guidance on age-appropriate spells, and read over the dueling rules and points system. Please also remember site rules apply, including power/god modding. You can find the site rules here. Duels will run until there is a winner or until 6 IRL days have passed, in which case the winner will be chosen by RNG. If you are knocked out or otherwise disarmed/incapacitated, or if you run out of points, you will lose and the duel will end. Have fun!

Spectators are allowed to post in this topic once per competitor's post, but are forbidden from directly interfering with the duels. Duelers cannot cast spells at the spectators or face disqualification.

This was Killian's second time dueling at this school and as a professor. Last year he might or might not have made Geo's husband James bald, but his hair had grown back. Eventually anyways. Getting on the platform the Professor bowed to his opponent with a polite smile. "Expelliarmus." Maybe he'd get lucky and end this early, but he wasn't counting on it.

Leda gave Professor Fox a little curtsey, not feeling like a bow was for her, before straightening back up and getting into a stance Monty could have been proud of. "Really? Expelliarmus?" Leda chuckled, blocking it easily. "You have to have a bit more imagination than that, boy," she told him, "Aguamenti!" she said clearly, a jet of water flying out the end of her wand toward the opposing professor.
